Flicks And The City This movie isn’t for us, it’s for kids. Target audience is very young girls. It was darker than the first film as it was released, but no I don’t want to destroy children’s dreams.
Flicks And The City I watched the Deleted Song in the Bonus Features on Fios and I loved it cause it was hilarious but they didn’t show the one where Arendelle was destroyed which I would have kinda liked
I am so sad that the memory of Agnarr and Iduna’s moment about Anna didn’t make it into the movie. Anna seriously deserved a moment where her parents were focused on her and only her
The deleted scene where Elsa showed Anna the memories of their parents discussing about how Anna could help her sister was pretty emotional. Especially the part where Anna started to tear up.
I'm glad they didn't kill off Elsa, but I wish they had destroyed Arendelle. It would leave some consequence from the adventure, and I like the idea of Anna making an honest genuine kingdom.
Yeah, because Elsa would recover more in the darker scene of the castle getting demolished by the tidal wave, and it could get replaced as a another brand of a castle.
I know right? The part where Elsa saves Arendelle at the ending didnt just fit with the rest. It was *so conviniently easy* Elsa reborning at the *exactly right time* .... didnt like it. A easy happy ending.
@@braziliansimon2737 yess, it seemed super convenient, as if there was never any need for us to worry about Elsa coming back. And there was no clear explanation of how she was able to survive the glacier.
@@ladykookosmile There wasnt a explanation about why she just randomly freezed at the end lmao I apreciate the final version of the movie but looking the deleted scenes and the old storyline, i can see that the movie was going to be way more incredible and darker, I mean, with Arendelle being destroyed, Anna proposing Kristoff, the flashbacks of elsa's parents, the deleted songs and that mysterious shape(maybe the fifth element). Its sad that Disney is super childish with their movies
Sometimes excellent content is cut to keep down run time, but yeah, this would have been an excellent path to take with the movie. Maybe not kill Elsa, but instead have her arrive just too late to save the castle, but protect the rest of the kingdom.
Hello Clarice honestly i agree, but look at it in a different way. Wouldn’t that be too intense for children? Frozen was originally created for kids even Anna and Elsa are considered Disney princesses. It just wouldn’t look so friendly or have a “happily ever after” ending u feel me?
Disney needs to have two versions of the movie: the happy one for all the kids, and one for the grown movie buffs where disney can play with these darker plots more
James Campbell Agreed. I really like the scene where a Elsa shows Anna the memory of their parents. I just like the thought of a Anna having her own special moment with just her parents.
i agree, but think about it tho. if the deleted scenes were there in the movie and the current scenes were not, and then you watch a video about the deleted scenes (which was the current scene) you'll still say the same "these deleted scenes would be better than the current one". I think is the sense of discovering something new, which made us think that it would be better.
It would've been a good choice Considering all the 4th Wall bearking jokes of how all the watching audiences are now older Older, thus all knowing and all capable of bearing these dark turns
@@aritunes21 can't blame you. I love Disney movies, including when it associated with Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars and/or National Geographic in Disney Plus!! I like talking in comment about those inspirational franchises!
I don´t want Elsa to be dead for good. But I would have liked the version where she needed more time to recover. Even if that would have meant the destruction of Arendelle.
I genuinely feel that the frozen series is all about *O L A F*. Like, think about it, in the first movie, he was created at the beginning as a lifeless snowman, THEN HE COMES TO LIFE!!! Like- he got Anna out of a room a MURDERER put her in to freeze her to death. He also is comical and makes the audience laugh the most (in my opinion). Then in the 2nd one, he’s “maturing” and is once again, making the audience laugh the most. Then he almost dies and plays with the audiences heart- iTs AlL AboUT hIm iM tElLiNg yOU!
I honestly loved Olaf's character before Frozen 2 basically RUINED him. He was annoying but in a sense to entertain, but now he's just annoying but to relate with young people, making references or adult themed statements that aren't really re-watchable cuz they aren't funny. Olaf could've been the one character that made Frozen 2 feel like a fun disney movie, instead of this dark mesh of bland characters without real personality.
I think that arendelle should've been destroyed...it would have been a nice way to symbolize the destruction of the kingdom that represented the past (the grandpa and his choices, the parents' secrets, the time elsa shut herself in) and rebuilding something else anew (union between different people, actual honesty) It's hard for me to explain it but I just think it would be a nice way to also physically show that we can break away from the mistakes of our ancestors. I feel like arendelle represents too much of the past. It was the same kingdom that their parents and their grandparents ruled. I'm not saying that all rulers were bad and that all of their actions were horrible but I just think that there was too much deceit that already happened. Also it would have been really nice if they rebuilt it by combining both arendelle's architecture and nature as a representation of the unity between the people and magic (dad and their mom, elsa having magic, their people reconciling with the magic tribe).
Yes! It bugs me that she kept calling it the darker ending, when honestly no! No one would have died (I don't think Disney planned on killing Elsa, that's why Olaf being put in the cave cause water has memory was so important. They couldn't kill Olaf!) It would have been a fresher and more powerful ending. I'm guessing whoever wrote the story was not the one that decided to change it and did not put their heart into rewriting the ending. They want us to want the original. We should protest. I don't know how to start that though...
That's exactly what I said after I saw the movie. She did die but was reborn as a spirit which is why she has to stay in the enchanted Forest. As it's her duty now as the spiritual side of the bridge to look after the 4 elemental spirits which is why she was brought back, to fulfill her purpose Gandalf the White style.
@Mrs. T That's true but her powers increased ten fold after she came back to life suggesting she was reborn. Not to mention in the original concept they wanted to actually kill off Elsa but since this is a Disney flick targeted towards kids that's obviously not gonna fly w the age demographic. So they have to opt for the happy ending. So instead they went w this so that what happened to Elsa here could be left open to interpretation. So you can't tell someone that thinks Elsa was reborn as a spirit as wrong because there's no right or wrong answer. It's a matter of artistic perception.
@@n.a.t.gplays7757 They're not even part of the same franchise. To be honest I think Elsa is better off alone anyway but that's neither here nor there.
I agree! There are consequences for the actions of the past, whether one likes it or not, and the people were living because of those actions even if they weren't directly involved. Disney sometimes forfeits truth for pretty pictures and I think it's time they've woken up
Well it would be unfair for the people of the kingdom. It would cost them a lot. Decades of people's hardwork would have been washed away. The ending in the original film is the best according to me. Opinions differ :))
@@anonymous-sj6qu Yes, opinions differ! My feeling is that the people of Arendelle's prosperity was built at the expense of the Northuldra, and washing it away would have been a powerful gesture to build a world anew, one based in fairness and not greed or settler-colonialism. It would have shown that harm, even unintentional harm, requires accountability. I think the struggle of the Northuldra correlates strongly with the real-life struggle of indigenous Americans and their colonizers (indeed, they were based on the indigenous people of Norway), and destroying and rebuilding Arendelle could have been a beautiful message to them.
The people of the kingdom had to leave their homes. They were punished for the unintentional harm they caused. Elsa and anna worked tirelessly to protect arrendelle. If the entire kingdom was lost their struggles would have been meaningless. Every act of kindness and courage has a reward. :) I dont completely disagree with you though. The people of northuldra were definitely subjected to injustice.

For everyone wondering, the reason they took out most of these scenes is because it was too confusing for children and the reason they didn’t just replace some of the dialogue and a few of the scenes is because they were running out of time and didn’t realize it was too complexe for children until 6 months before the release date was set
Disney needs to have two versions of the movie: the happy ending one for all the kids, and one for thr grown movie buffs where disney can play with these darker plots more
I didn’t want Elsa to die but they should have kept the ending where Arendelle is destroyed. Otherwise I just just have this feeling that it’s too easy, there is no consequence for the colonizers.
Private Account The younger generations were being punished anyway. The Northuldra people and the Arendalians stuck behind the dam were being punished. Suddenly they were blocked off from everything they knew and had to deal with angry spirits and giants the whole time. At least make it fair for the other side.
ELSA IS DEAD... and here is the theory: Now that the deleted plot came up, surely Elsa is dead BUT she became a spirit. Remember Star Wars, where we have Ghosts around the living Jedi? The formula is the same. Elsa became the fifth element (one with the force), saves the castle, force projects herself to her friends and sister and then leaves to the forest. That's the Disney way. Personally, I like to think that they are using religion to tell the tale: Espiritism to be precise. In this, the living and the dead can communicate via the medium. Elsa, while alive is the medium capable of talking/use the spirits. When she dies, she becomes a spirit herself and Anna now is the new medium and becomes the bridge to both words. Frozen 3? Evil Spirits want to take out Arendelle and the Northuldra to control the living world. Elsa will fight along with the other spirits but is Anna the one that has the True love and compassion and will be able, again to sacrifice herself to save the world. Let's see in 6 years how this post ages... LOL
Bruges Manioracci yeah this could be true and can explain how she had a new gown which was all white and could’ve resembled an angel 👼 talking to Anna and friends at the end of the movie and the horse I think could have resembled as angel as well
If Elsa had actually died like her alternative ending, then Olaf would have died too. I feel like Disney wanted to kill off Elsa but they felt like it might have been to dark for two characters to die instead of just one so they scrapped it.
@@Michael41605 Frozen killed Anna, which was the main protagonist, and Frozen II killed the main protagonist, Elsa, Olaf, Marshmallow, and the 1,000's of snowgies.
Anna during the part when Kristoff wears something fancy: “I like you better in leather anyways” Me: Aww, that’s so- *wait* Looks back through movie and sees that he doesn’t wear leather *gAsP* **realizes what she really means**
Frozen :☆The frozen heart☆ I think it would be cool *no pun intended* Bc listen, didn't they want Anna to have some magic powers as well? I mean, they could have anna going back and forth to the bridge where the dam broke, looking for elsa, calling her name. Then one day she sees the frozen water horse come to her and lead her to the place where elsa saw her parents & etc. Then finding clues either if she is alive or not. It would have two endings like she finds out that elsa is alive and in the old ice castle, healing from the fall she took at the ending of the movie and finds her. Brb, I'm trying to find the notes I took on it
That's not true. If you pay attention to the lyrics in the song "Into the Unknown" you know that she doesn't want to acknowledge the voice. In fact she says she is happy with things. It's at the end of the song she sees she has no choice.
Agnarr: There’s not much that girl can’t do! Iduna: Oh her love could hold up the world. Agnarr: ... lucky for the world. That scene NEEDED to be there. Anna needed some recognition 🥺
Others: I wanted Elsa to die then she'll come back to life as (something) I think it would've been better if Arendelle was destroyed then (blablabla) (Full of theoires) Me: I wanna know what olaf's deleted song was🥺
I dont know, why everyone wants Elsa dead; finally we got two sisters in a movie, who dont hate each other, just because the older one is gonna be queen; who actually love each other. I love the second movie that ended up on the big screen, it fits the Frozen feeling perfectly.
Shemrocky The only reason why they want Elsa dead is because she isn't recovered, also it would be too repetitive if Elsa just stops the tidal wave with a 100-ft. ice wall, it's a Walt Disney movie for all ages, pretty much at the end they would replace the castle with a new renovated castle.
@Arigato Senpai This is what I was honestly hoping to have when I saw Frozen. I was genuinely disappointed with the ending, but it still was an overall good movie.
I love Frozen 2, but I would’ve loved to see how Frozen 2 would’ve been with all of these scenes. I also love how Anna is so supportive of Elsa. All these deleted scenes are actually really awesome.
Yeah and it will get worse kids will be scar of what happened to Elsa's and parents might sue Disney for killing elsa which there children loves so good thing they didn't kill elsa.
"Joy brings her powers out as strongly as fear" lmao that doesn’t help me to love their parents more 😭 It’s implying they were also afraid to let their daughter be happy like wtf???
Nooooo the father was afraid that elsa might get too happy ( if she was allowed to hang out with Anna more often) that Elsa wouldn't be able to contain/ control her powers
Woah that just made me realize they never knew how exactly Anna got hurt.... Elsa was in full control of her powers until she was afraid and struck with grief...
Luny Cipres yeah exactly. In the original they came in after the event and said “what have you done. This is getting out of hand”, Elsa said “it was an accident”. The real hint of how the dad interpreted that (in the first movie) was at the trolls when he “she can learn to control it” implying he believed she wasn’t in control of those powers already
curated bits That’s exactly what I’m angry about lmao They’re refraining her happiness because they are afraid of their own daughter. And by doing that they made everything worse
THE DELETED SCENES ARE ALL SO GOOD! I would have loved if Elsa died and then came back to life in Frozen 3. Now i am scared that Frozen 3 (if there is going to be a frozen three) will be a knock-of because they have no ideas/ things to work with.
That means that Olaf would come back in frozen 3 as well. And how can there be a happy ending when two characters are dead AND the castle would be destroyed
@@lukaniamoon2029 It could've been a bitter-sweet ending where Anna rebuilds the catle and unites the people from the forest to her kingdom where she lives as a queen, also there were some other deleted scene where we see that Anna loves Arendel, so that could've helped to alleviate the ending as we see her happy to care for her kingdom.
I made an edited script up myself with added scenes., for use for fun with friends.... Took me a few weeks hard work but the final product was worth it...I don't publish anything I just thought it'd be Cool 😎. It was amazing!!!
Watching Frozen 2, everything felt off. The story felt like it was missing important elements, Elsa felt like a paper cut-out, and the ending was disappointing. For me, the movie would have been amazing, sad, and memorable if Elsa had died. It would have been sad, but it would have felt right.
I think it would have been fine if she was just seriously hurt and recovering. Just as long as she didn't swoop in and save the day. Killing Anna would have meant permanently killing Olaf, and Disney couldn't have done that. But I think the writers were mad to have to change the ending to save Arendelle, they really did not put heart into that change. And I don't think the original ending would have been dark at all, it would have been full of hope and renewal. It would have been a million times better.
But they had to make it fall into place since in Frozen 1 Anna froze then unfroze so they had to make it Make sense and also since many children love elsa as she is very popular in disney they would be so bumped out if she died
@@hellolol8753 yeahh but If they would handle it correctly I think it would've been a good storyline rather just having it the way they have it now They could have many more different an more impactful & emotional story as a whole but again in know it's a kids movie

I wish they would’ve given Anna something cool, too. Honestly everything was focused around Elsa. Even the parents were focused on Elsa. I wish after Elsa died for a bit, Anna gained some powers or something to save Arendelle. Then, when Elsa revived, she would teach her how to control her powers.
I wanted Anna to get fire powers...but honestly I really like that she doesn’t. Her strength isn’t IN magic, it IS magic. But I do really wish that her and Kristof had a song together because she had one with Hans
The parents memory I agree with, but the proposal song is rightfully left on the cutting room floor. Nothing can beat “Lost in the Woods”. Heck, I couldn’t live without that song. No Lost in the Woods = No Life.

They probably rushed up this film because they knew Menzel’s vocals would be too destroyed by Disney to sing big songs for a third movie further down the line.
Mistake O on top of that she was in wicked, sang let it go, into the unknown, show yourself, all of that PLUS live performances. yeah i could imagine her vocals are busted
I feel a bit sad about the castle. When I reading the artbook, I've thinking "oh no, that was a so good idea !" to do a new castle, with new valors, etc.
Like a lot of angry marvel fans when they kil of the favorite charaters, or Star Wars, especially in the last 2 movies The Last Jedi and Rise Of The Skywalker. I wont name who cause im not that 1 person who spoils it for everyone
I honestly prefer the original scenes. They are just so... heartwarming or just entertaining? Fun? Interesting? The memory scene would have helped with the criticism against the parents, like it was pointed out, plus its a pretty emotional scene. The destruction of Arendale as a consequence of past wrongdoings would have been a great thing too. Devastating, yes, but it would have shown that actions can have disastrous consequences, even much later. It would have been a hundred times more impactful. Building a new castle that resembles Northaldrian culture would have been a great detail. I loved the alternate proposal scene. Such a great subversion of gender roles that fits the characters perfectly! And I think it shows their chemistry so well... unlike in the actual movie. *sigh* I wonder what was the exact thought process that lead to them being scrapped...
Yeah, Frozen II was wasted potential, they should have kept the deleted scenes in there. And Arendelle should have been destroyed and all of the inhabitants moved to the Enchanted Forest.
if they kept elsa dead i would not finish the rest of the movie like in toy story 4 the alternative ending were bo said good bye to woody or cars 3 were sterling took away mqueens number and beytread him i would not see those movies at all after those scenes.
REN Fam I’m guessing you can’t rewatch those films because your seven and don’t understand how good plot acts. (Or you just have the grammar of a seven year old.)
Oh wow, that scene where Anna's parents talk about how much they believe in her and that not much she can't do has me feeling teary eyed more than 3/4 of Frozen 2.
Arendelle being destroyed sounds wrong for multiple reasons: 1. The current generation of Arendellians did nothing to deserve a punishment for the sins of king Runeard. He was killed in the war so he got his punishmemt. In Thor Ragnarok Asgard was destroyed, but that was fair because Odin did mistakes and HE WAS STILL ALIVE. Odin couldn't have gone unpunished so Asgard being destroyed was OK (BTW Thor Ragnarok is the only good one in the trilogy). There's 0 justification for the current Arendellians to suffer because of Runeard's mistakes. 2. Even if Arendelle would've been destroyed, Disney (with their obsession with happily ever after) would've time-skipped to after Arendelle was rebuilt. That move ruins all the consequences created by the town being destroyed as it basically "you lost something and than immidiately regained it". It comes as a bit anti-climactic to take away all the consequences made by the decision Anna made and turn it to be meaningless. At least the ending that was made for the finalized film had Elsa saving the town in a cool superhero way, that also showed that the spirits decided to give Arendelle a second chance because of Anna's heroic act. That also explained why Anna is now the queen because the spirits wanted Anna to lead the town (as Elsa said "The spirits all agreed. Arendelle deserves to stand, with you. You did what was good for everyone").
You say that Asgard being destroyed was good, yet say this was bad. The people of Arendaelle did nothing wrong, yes. *But,* you have to realize who brought down the dam. Not Runeard, not Elsa, not even their parents. It was Anna who brought it down, so it would have been her fault, though she was righting the wrongs of the past. A heavy burden it is, when you have to be an adult and fix what those before you have done. Good examples of this is scattered throughout all of our real world history. A time-skip to see a rebuilt Arendalle would have been a good ending, especially if it had a mix design of the Northuldra people and the denizens.
@@BrokensoulRider 1. The truth that Anna was WILLING to sacrifice her kingdom still stands. The fact that the spirits changed their mind about the Arendellians is a different case. I said I'm fine that Arendelle wasn't destroyed because king Runeard was dead a long time ago and the new Arendellians are following a better leadership than his. Everyone deserves a second chance. 2. In Thor Ragnarok the people of Asgard followed Odin. Odin was alive by the time Hela attacked. Odin did horrible mistakes once so he is guilty and therefore he deserves to pay. Sure, Odin died relatively close to when Asgard was destroyed so he got his punishment (and therefore the Asgardians SHOULD be innocent), but there's one big difference here: King Runeard died 34 years before the dam was destroyed and the wave was about to wash out Arendelle, while Odin died few minutes/hours before Asgard was destroyed. Think about the leadership in each place. Considering Arendelle has developed a lot since Runeard's death and had 2 other leaders (Agnarr and Elsa) to righten their possibly wrong path since, it seems as if the Arendellian are innocents and don't deserve to pay. They aren't guilty or involved with Runeard's actions. However, in Thor Ragnarok, despite Odin's death, the Asgardians, who now aknowledged their flawed leader, should've realized that they are civilians for a flawed leadership. Odin was still alive by the time Hela started her plan so the Asgardians (people led towards a flawed society by a flawed leader, and were yet to have their paths righten by a better leader) are part guilty. Also, they didn't try to negotiate with her and say "Hey Hela, ma'am, we are sorry for what Odin did, he was a d*ck. But we want to start anew so please don't ruin our homeland, we'll make it up to you somehow". Despite the knowledge they are part guilty because of Odin, they didn't negotiate, they immidiately became protective warriors who fought for their home rather than trying the nicer and more fair option. In short: The Arendellians have moved past Runeard's mistakes, while The Asgardians haven't. Therefore, Arendelle deserved to be saved, while Asgard didn't. 3. Imagine if Arendelle WOULD'VE been destroyed. Do you really think the Arendellians would've been OK with the fact they had to pay for actions they did not commit? They would've said to Anna "build a new town by yourself. He was YOUR grandfather, YOU made the decision, than YOU will take responsibility for YOUR sacrifice. We aren't guilty than we won't pay". The ending you are asking for teaches kids to stay trapped in the past and that they should pay for actions commited by their murderer grandfather. SUCH A GREAT LESSON TO TEACH KIDS, DON'T YOU THINK?😒 But yes, even if I don't want Arendelle to be destroyed, seeing a newly designed castle with some Northuldra design addings will be neat. Undeserved, but neat.
@@mermaidmomma Still, losing your stuff will cause a massive downgrade in quality of life. Rebuilding a new town isn't as easy as you may think. If you are innocent you don't deserve to lose stuff, but if you are guilty than you do. If you had a bet with someone and you lost than you own him the amount you were betting on. Think of it like this: tomorrow you'll discover that your dead grandfather (I don't know if he's dead but for the sake of the question let's say he is) has commited genoside on an entire group of 1000 people because of racism, no one of them stayed alive, he stole all of their money and items for himself, he built a house for living with all he stole and you live in the same house and the goverment have never found out about his crimes. Accoarding to your opinion about the ending of the film, you should pay for your grandfather's mistake. Would you have destroyed all he had and get rid of all the money you have just to "be even" with the dead people? Making up to the mistakes your grandfather did won't bring these people back to life and you had no involvement with what he did so is it really fair for you to pay for his sins? The only one who'll suffer from it is you and no one will earn anything from it since these people are dead. I'm sure you had kept it a secret and stayed with the money and items you have since "I am not guilty. My grandfather is the b*tch here".
I'd like to believe to obtain information from Antohallan meant she would be encased in the coldest of ice as repayment, but will transcend to a goddess if she ever makes it out alive. Usually curses work that way, it gives you something but ends you in tragedy.
There is no way they would have killed Elsa, this was not a real possibility. Disney has made a lot of mistakes, but there is NO way this was ever a consideration.
It was, was in the test screenings. They hinted Elsa was still alive as the final shot of the movie is a floating snowflake, head of Disney said no and the entire movie got changed over the summer months
Olaf was probably still a pile of snow on the ground when Arendelle was flooding, in the original version, after Anna emotionally cries and when she said, "Do you wanna build a snowman?"
Yes, when Elsa freezez and Olaf died I felt nothing. The only scene that get me emotional is when Anna meet Elsa but that's about it. Would've been better if they ended up destroy Arendelle
Unfortunately, that's just modern kids animation in particular. Not just Disney, though they are famous for it. If you notice the earlier works where Walt was still alive, such as bambi, he did darker elements because he knew kids would be able to understand.
@@Grenadreams yeah. Because they think that tearing down a castle will scare kids. I think it would have been a good lesson if arendelle was destroyed.
Yeah, i think some disney dude that saw the one of the ending where ending where Arendelle would get flooded said "I wonder what Japanese think of this, this might remind them of tsunami" Disney marketing team goes panic mode and then Disney boss demands them to delete it.
In that case, I hope that if there has ever been a murderer in your whole family history, you would be punished severely for their crime. The destruction of your home and all of your possessions seems about right. Wouldn't you agree?
Well, then Elsa would be still frozen down in Atohollan and Olaf would be still a large pile of snow on the ground with purple flowers, if Anna wouldn't let Olaf attend the coronation then it would just be Sven, Anna, and Kristoff.
@@orangelight. He meant if in that coronation scene Elsa would be considered dead (which this video conclude from Elsa not being present), then why is Olaf alive in that scene, while he should be just a pile of snow. Olaf: What do you think the chances are that he can be a deranged murderer like the other guy?" I SWEAR TO GOD OLAF IS SUCH A MOOD HE IS LITERALLY MY SOULMATE!!!!!!!!!!
I have actually been quite disappointed by the end of that movie. It made the whole film feel... empty, like it hasn't any impact. I know they kept the softer version cause they wanted it to cuddle the children, but because they are children doesn't mean they can't handle consequences. Just look at How to train your dragon : the final of the film has Hiccup who lost a leg. And the film's still for children. And it's f*cking amazing. For Frozen, now that I know they planed to destroy the castle and maybe even kill Elsa, I am even more disappointed with that meaningless ending they finally gave us and I am so frustrated they kicked out all the songs you mentioned. Disney's strength has always been to be able make their films for children AND adults, stories with shiny songs and deep meanings. But this film is so empty, it doesn't even have the most important thing in a story : consequences. Come on, stop taking our children (and us) for fools !
In that case, I guess I would have preferred Elsa to die, even if the whole marketing is build around her. Anna's the protagonist and she's the perfect queen for the kingdom, even if the song supposed to show it has been scratched, so it has more sens to keep her alive. But yeah, that could have been an option.
this is absolutely random i think but what if Anna and Kristof have a child with powers like Elsa but Elsa has to teach their child how to control magic
yeah, it'd be better than Anna gaining her powers randomly, although theres a chance the film wont feature that if the producers choose to make the fact that anna nearly drowned the kingdom bad
While Frozen 2 is great and unique, I would’ve loved it if Arendelle’s castle 🏰 was destroyed, but Elsa and the Nokk prevent the flood from swamping the town, so the castle is rebuilt using a combination of Arendellean and Northuldran architecture, to represent how the two peoples are being bridged back together. And as a dam is a wall, it makes sense why it’s a symbol of the division that King 👑 Runeard built to protect his throne. Plus, more expansion on how Runeard oppressed the peaceful Northuldra people.
Would you like to have seen this darker ending for Frozen 2?! 😲😱

I am so sad that the memory of Agnarr and Iduna’s moment about Anna didn’t make it into the movie. Anna seriously deserved a moment where her parents were focused on her and only her
I know, especially since most of the movie revolves around Elsa and the memories she sees of her parents are solely focused on her.

The deleted scene where Elsa showed Anna the memories of their parents discussing about how Anna could help her sister was pretty emotional. Especially the part where Anna started to tear up.
They should have kept it.
Started tearing up at that part
Me too
Yeah I don’t know why they got rid of that scene.
Agree. Should've been in the movie
Meredith I agree but the scene when Elsa saves Arendelle was so beautiful and iconic (to me)
the deleted scenes can give so much more meaning to the movie, why? they're so beautiful...
Ikr so beautiful
There is no movie with no deleted scene- But I agree with yah
Sometimes excellent content is cut to keep down run time, but yeah, this would have been an excellent path to take with the movie. Maybe not kill Elsa, but instead have her arrive just too late to save the castle, but protect the rest of the kingdom.
Yeah...
I think it was because they had to crunch to meet the deadline and remove a lot of parts or try to condense the thing to make it in time.

Even the deleted songs were better. Home and Get this Right are great and deserved to be in it :(

FUCKING SAME! Even my girlfriend looks like Elsa. I love this movie! The fact that these scenes were deleted makes no damn sense.
i agree, but think about it tho. if the deleted scenes were there in the movie and the current scenes were not, and then you watch a video about the deleted scenes (which was the current scene) you'll still say the same "these deleted scenes would be better than the current one".
I think that arendelle should've been destroyed...it would have been a nice way to symbolize the destruction of the kingdom that represented the past (the grandpa and his choices, the parents' secrets, the time elsa shut herself in) and rebuilding something else anew (union between different people, actual honesty)
It's hard for me to explain it but I just think it would be a nice way to also physically show that we can break away from the mistakes of our ancestors.
Ok but that has such a better meaning and purpose then the actual movie it needs to be remade
I kinda got pissed when it didn’t because I like “dark” stuff :)
We will tell her when we return.
And they never return...

That make me tear up and it’s only a basic drawing board reason!

*"Their parents are dead..."*
I actually consider Elsa dead, and reborn as an empherial spirit.
Then thats where Jack Frost shows up. Le
@@n.a.t.gplays7757 They're not even part of the same franchise. To be honest I think Elsa is better off alone anyway but that's neither here nor there.
@@ndebmusicmania6687 You're very good with explanation! Totally agree with you
Well, I'm glad they saved Elsa.
But I would have preferred if they let Arendelle be destroyed, to repair the grandfather actions.
I agree! There are consequences for the actions of the past, whether one likes it or not, and the people were living because of those actions even if they weren't directly involved. Disney sometimes forfeits truth for pretty pictures and I think it's time they've woken up
same
Well it would be unfair for the people of the kingdom.
Why is no one talking about “what if he turns out the be a deranged murdered and try to kill you like her last one did” (or something like that)

The younger generations were being punished anyway. The Northuldra people and the Arendalians stuck behind the dam were being punished. Suddenly they were blocked off from everything they knew and had to deal with angry spirits and giants the whole time. At least make it fair for the other side.
Okay, I really NEED that scene of Elsa showing Anna her “parents believing in her” memory in the movie
ELSA IS DEAD... and here is the theory:
Now that the deleted plot came up, surely Elsa is dead BUT she became a spirit.
LOL

Elsa should have survived/recovered over time, however Arendelle should have been destroyed.

They probably rushed up this film because they knew Menzel’s vocals would be too destroyed by Disney to sing big songs for a third movie further down the line.

There’s going to be a lot of angry Frozen fans if Disney killed Elsa..

@@EvelynL.1112 omg i’ve seen you before lol
They scrapped it because they felt it was too complicated for children to understand.

Oh wow, that scene where Anna's parents talk about how much they believe in her and that not much she can't do has me feeling teary eyed more than 3/4 of Frozen 2.
I'm glad they keep elsa alive because it will be heart breaking ending if they did.
It would be a logical ending.
Arendelle being destroyed sounds wrong for multiple reasons:
Roi Itzkovich the people were evacuated. They would of been fine
SUCH A GREAT LESSON TO TEACH KIDS, DON'T YOU THINK?😒
But yes, even if I don't want Arendelle to be destroyed, seeing a newly designed castle with some Northuldra design addings will be neat.

There is no way they would have killed Elsa, this was not a real possibility. Disney has made a lot of mistakes, but there is NO way this was ever a consideration.
I'm sure it wouldn't have been permanent, in any case- just a set up for this franchise's "Return of the Jedi".

They should’ve committed to the consequences. I’m sure this comes down to Disney meddling rather than the filmmakers decisions.
Definitley
If Elsa died, why Olaf could attend Anna's Coronation.
He basically debunked the idea that Elsa wasn't at the coronation because she was dead.

But Olaf in 04:56 though 😳😂😂
Olaf: What do you think the chances are that he can be a deranged murderer like the other guy?"
I SWEAR TO GOD OLAF IS SUCH A MOOD HE IS LITERALLY MY SOULMATE!!!!!!!!!!
Come on, stop taking our children (and us) for fools !
it would’ve been better if anna or some one else have died
In that case, I guess I would have preferred Elsa to die, even if the whole marketing is build around her. Anna's the protagonist and she's the perfect queen for the kingdom, even if the song supposed to show it has been scratched, so it has more sens to keep her alive. But yeah, that could have been an option.
This movie would have been much better if they had kept the original ending.
I agree
this is absolutely random i think but what if Anna and Kristof have a child with powers like Elsa but Elsa has to teach their child how to control magic
That would good for the next movie. I heard that they were thinking about it but didn't have any story ideas.
yeah, it'd be better than Anna gaining her powers randomly, although theres a chance the film wont feature that if the producers choose to make the fact that anna nearly drowned the kingdom bad
