I’ve learned so much from you guys this past year. My wife and I plan to jump into the RV life upon my transition out of the military. Keep up the great work and know that people are rooting for you guys.
Thank you Nathan & Olivia for being candid through this endeavor. I have enjoyed following You guys during this time. I have learned a lot from your successes and you not so successes. I will continue to follow your adventures and see what cool and exciting things are out there.
Your words are always a joy for us to read Joe! Thank you for your kindness. We are beyond grateful to have people like you in our community! 😊 Cheers to many more years of learning through travel 🙏🏼 Olivia & Nathan
From someone with 30 yrs of RV experience when you upgrade your truck just go with a 1 ton SRW you don’t need the dually if your RV isn’t crazy big and the cost is minimal compared to a 3/4 ton.
I need you guys to know that because of you two I have been able to figure out how to do this fun exciting crazy adventure by myself. I was on the fence about full timing for about six months and then my husband found you guys here on RUclips and we started obsessively watching our videos. My husband is in the military and we’re not able to be geographically together right now, so me and my kids have started this RVing journey in September and your videos helped me realize that I could do this. Thank you guys 🥰
That’s awesome Alexandria, you can 💯 do it!! RV life ain’t easy but it’s very rewarding in so many ways!! All the best to you and the fam and happy holiday!
We’re in month 6 of full time rv living and we’ve never felt more understood! Our journey has been very similar and working full time in a 20’ RV is no joke. But the experiences and adventures are so worth it! Cheers to making it 1 year and hope to see you on the road someday 🍻😀
Hey Mike and Ash! Congrats on 6 months! Haha I’m sure our lives are extremely similar. Definitely & totally worth it! What’re your winter plans? Are you guys going home for the holidays or “wintering” in a warmer place? That’d be awesome! Social life on the road is sometimes hard to come by hey! Thanks for your comment 🤙🏽 - Olivia
I just discovered your channel I'm in a much older guy that is getting ready to go to the RV lifestyle dial 100% I found your channel to offer me more guidance and better tips than any other I have found you guys are so fun and thank you for all your input
Incredibly informative. Thank you guys so much! My wife and I are planning to do full time RV life for a year or two. Watching your videos has been inspirational and informative and we can’t wait to get on the road!
Aw we are so stoked for you guys Joshua! It’s the best challenge & reward lifestyle. We’re happy they’ve been helpful! Safe travels and thanks for your comment!
Loved watching this wrap-up. I'm a single guy getting out of the Navy after 8 years of service next year, and am thinking about just travelling for about 8 months until settling down into college on the GI Bill in Fall of 2023. This video really gave me inspiration and plenty of helpful tips that I'll be using when I get out on the road. Cheers.
That sounds like a solid plan William, all the best to you!! Glad the video could help! It’ll be good to experience life on the road and time outdoors before school 🙌🏽
Ah man, making these videos gives our lives so much purpose. We have too much fun making them. Our next goal is to try to make this a full-time gig so we can be more financially sustainable. Working on it! Thanks for the kind words DRM 🙏🏼
I like staying at rv parks and we only boondocks in between campsites mainly for the fact of a dump station for when we leave boondocking and filling up (water) to go boon docking. It’s better in fall temps were the high is 60-65 and the low is 45. Our 27ft TT will run off of a very quiet 1000 genny because we have a fridge that only runs on 12v and water heater/ furnace on gas
Thanks for sharing Matthew! Yea we plan on doing more boondocking in the future, our generator is pretty quiet too..we’ve just enjoyed the convenience of RV parks but we also like the idea of mixing in some boondocking 👍🏽
Great video! We've loved watching you guys! It's our dream to full time RV, but for now we get the travelling in whenever we can. As far as boondocking, have you heard of Harvest Hosts? My husband put solar on our travel trailer so we alternate our campground stays with Harvest Hosts (and state parks that usually don't have hook ups). Some Harvest Hosts are destinations all to themselves. Wineries, farms, breweries, etc. My favorite was parking in an apple orchard that had great food, music and wines. Anyway, I hope you guys stay on the road for a bit longer because we really love watching your adventures. You two are a super sweet couple!
Hey Gigi! We have! We don’t have HH yet but we plan to get it soon 😊 we’ve heard so many great things. I’m sure it would save us some money too. That’s sweet you have solar - It’s so practical! Hopefully on our next rig we’ll have it 🙌🏽 We’re still RVing and have a few more stops before Christmas. We’re not going anywhere! Thanks for always taking the time to comment - it really helps us and we enjoy getting to know you more 🙌🏽 - Olivia
Thanks for making your videos. You both seem like fun kind people very adventurous and fun to hang with. This is something I would love to do. So for now I enjoy watching you. Keep it up my new friends
Another great video guys. The wife and I are going to retire early next year and plan to travel full time the first year. We are learning as we go and appreciate your open and honest insights. Safe travels
There’s definitely a strategy to it to make the water go as far as possible haha we plan on doing a bit of boondocking this year and we’ll see how that goes! Good luck!
Love your videos! My husband and I live in the Bay Area and RV around Northern California quite a bit. While we have made a few out of state trips, I love the idea of traveling the whole USA. I truly appreciate your transparency as you two have navigated this adventure in your lives. Also, I love the corny jokes and the sound effects…keep ‘em coming! Thanks for bringing all of us along for your adventures :) Stay safe and stay amazing!
Haha you rock Scott! Sometimes a dad joke and weird sound effect just gives a vibe lol that’s so awesome you guys RV around NorCal. That’s where we toured when we first got our RV. USA TOUR - DO IT! If you can fit in even just a few weeks, you’ll be so happy you did. And you’ll be shocked by the prices 😂 right when we crossed the border from CA to Arizona gas went from $4.50 to $2.09! We spend less money touring the US, than we would if we lived in California 😅 anyway, thanks for the kind words! And safe travels!
@@ONWorldTravel I’m watching your videos from Florida up and across the northeast, that’s our route this summer. Starting in MD up towards Acadia NP, NH, Vermont, Niagara. Finally finger lakes back home. Recommendations are welcome
Loving the videos, I've been to the USA about 6 times and have only scratched the surface. Look forward to more of your travels, thanks for sharing! Cheers from Pete in Australia
@@ONWorldTravel Brisbane. Think from your videos you would have passed thru. Looked like you may have stopped on the Gold Coast or maybe the Sunshine Coast. Glad we Aussies treated you well. Looking forward to more of your adventures and hope you both are well
You guys are so wise :) I love all your travel videos but I really can't wait to see more RV'ing. You inspire me to get out. I have my own reasons for doing it, on a much smaller scale, I have my challenges, and are of a certain age...ahemmm, but it's never too late right? I love your sense of humor, your lightheartedness and optimism. The world has gotten too serious. Thanks !!! Happy travels, where ever you are.
Thanks for this video 👍🥳 You brought up some really interesting things to consider and to think about before heading out 🙏 Also to be grateful and considerate of each other through the challenging things 😊 which are bound to happen. Always appreciate the quality, interesting and entertaining info shared 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I subscribed to the RV Life system, and that GPS is amazing! $50 a year to plan RV safe routes, and also easy to research, book and route out your campgrounds.
Hey Courtney! Is it "RV Life Pro??" You're the second person to tell us they like it! I read that's the best app on the market now. We didn't buy it because there were so many recent negative reviews and I tried their "free app trial" and it was so wonky so I walked away. Lol maybe we need to take a second look. Does it bug out on you at all?
Happy Sunday, you two. This recap was fun, remembering the good and also the not-so good. Which reminds me, I still need to buy a generator. I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and I’m not going through another winter without a generator! It makes me smile hearing you two young vibrant adults express your gratitude and also your practice of gratitude, it really does generate more positive energy, results, and joy in one’s everyday life when we intentionally take a few minutes each day to acknowledge what makes us grateful. I’ve watched all your videos, international and the U.S., so I’m up for wherever you take us next. But, I was hoping you’d give us a clue about your current and future plans, are you back in California and will we still hear from you regularly before you venture out again? Inquiring minds want to know……. Take care, y’all. If you ever come through the DFW area, I’d love to meet ya and buy you lunch or dinner. Deb
Aw Deb! You always have the nicest things to say. We love seeing your comments. It’s been quite the Journey and we have loved sharing it with you. Haha yes, get yourself a generator quick! Before they’re sold out lol no more Texas snow-magedons! We will definitely let you know if and when we are in the area 🙂 we’d love to meet ya!! Thanks again Olivia & Nathan
Great recap guys! I’m a new subscriber and I wish the you tube algorithms would have taken me here sooner. You guys are doing a great job with your channel and the info you are putting out. I look forward to your cost/budget video.👍👍
Thanks Alan, glad you found us! We’ll be putting the cost/budget video together sometime in November/December. We’re still traveling and want to include those last couple months before the holidays to get a more holistic rundown! Appreciate your support, all the best!
I met you two at lululemon in KC and had such much fun connecting with you guys!! I am so impressed and wish you all the best in your travels!! Come back to KC soon :)
Fantastic video guys. We really couldn't agree more with almost everything you said (though we do a lot of boondocking, but we no longer work, so we get it) You are wise beyond your years.....gratitude and flexibility will carry you far. Oh, but we DO need to get one of those little green trees for our rear view. Namaste. Dave and Lorrie
Haha we love you guys! Yes, boondocking would seriously do our wallets some lovin’. But maybe it’s also allowed us to use the RV parks wifi and save 🤌🏽 ha thanks for your comment. We always appreciate you taking the time to write us! Safe travels guys! Olivia & Nathan
Have you guys considered a 1000 Trails membership? A good one is around 7K for the lifetime, book up to 180 days out and stay on system 21 days at a time. It is expensive, but you can finance it if needed and if you only stay 200 nights on system instead of staying 200 nights at an average cost of 35 to 40 dollars, you have paid for it. Just a thought - Love you guys' videos!
Hey guyssss thank you so much! I’m planning to do this solo with my daughter! I am also moving all the way from Puerto Rico!!! Crazy challenge or what??😹😹😹😹 thank you so much for such amazing videos. I’m learning so so so so so much with you. I got around 6 months to keep learning. I appreciate it a lot!!!! I would love to see videos on security!!!!!!
Haha no way! That’s so awesome. I’m sure you guys will have a great time together. It’s such a rewarding lifestyle. ❤️ especially with someone you love! Safe travels Lorna! Keep us update on how you go!
Such a great list! We started full time in August 2021 and feel like y’all are us in a year or we are y’all a year ago 😂 lots to learn and to see yet. I appreciate this list reflection *buys internet extension*
Oh I forgot I had unfollowed you when you went traveling. Now that you’re back in RV I said heck I need to subscribe again ✅done! Happy Birthday 🎂 Dude
There are a lot of different styles of RV traveling, some people move fast, some slow…some people do it for a few years, then take a few year break and go back to it…we learned a lot after our first year and will definitely travel a bit slower going forward…but it’s really just personal preference at the end of the day! Thanks for watching, all the best!
At least your campervan didn't stall out in the middle of a construction zone , in Colorado Springs while in the construction zone there was a five car wreck ahead of us..long story short,my wife pushed our campervan with our dodge ram past..at least five police cars that were dealing with the wreck ,up an off ramp around a corner that was a steep up hill to the Harley Davison dealership. That was the second time our van stalled out in Colorado..out of the five times our van stalled out on the road...we also never boondocked..koa's is mainly were we stayed and I have ever de winterized our rig from when I bought it. And Austin is weird 😕 I think we did a whole video on that. Safe travels ✌
Ah no! Hope everything is okay now. I’m sorry that happened but I’m sure you gained some a silver lining somewhere! All of our mishaps have made us stronger, that’s for sure. Safe travels guys!
We are traveling from San Jose to Asheville NC pulling a uhaul with our 2021 4x4 ranger which is no problem but we are seeing a lot of people towering with trailers that weigh way to much for there vehicle.
This is super informative guys ! My wife and I after years of considering made the decision to attempt the rv life our selves. Early September of next year we hope to be on the road ! Possibly earlier if circumstances allow us !
I really hope you two continue your videos when this trip end. Especially if y’all are in a new rig🤓 As always keep the videos coming, y’all rock. And whoever dislike this video sucks.
We are 100% continuing the vids! RV life in the US, or somewhere abroad, we love making these videos and talking to everyone who comments each week! We’re still on the road now 😃 and plan to continue for a bit more. Thanks for your support Jonathon!
Yeaaaaahhhh! Love to hear it Ron! Haha that’s a good idea. We’ll keep that in our back pocket. Would be either very interesting or very boring to watch our creative process & 50+ hours of editing.
Hey Mark! It wasn’t too hard for Nathan to do most of the booking. We definitely have to be a bit flexible and don’t normally have our hearts set on a single park. There were a few times where instead of staying a week in one park, we had to stay three nights in one park and four nights in another (because they didn’t have availability). But we were okay with that. We somehow always found a park and never went without. The earliest we booked in advance was a month. Hope that helps!
Thanks! Yes, that video will come a bit later (probably late November) when we head home for holidays so we can include the last few months of this year in the budgeting too! Cheers!
Hey Sarah! Glad you like em! 🤓 I’m a marketing consultant and Nathan has fitness and men’s groups clients. But we’re transitioning now in RUclips full-time 🤞🏽no prob!
A question we have is your experience with neighbors at the RV parks? Overall noise, music, nosiness, barking dogs, lack of privacy, generator noise, etc? Thanks for the series, we've been enjoying yours the most!
Thank you. For this research , I worked in Jeffersonville Indiana, shepherdsville Kentucky, Mishawaka indiana and Elkhart indiana. Elkhart indiana is the capital of RV. I meet Amish family that spoke spanish. I remember them asking me, do you cook Mexicano food? Yes, I made them green salsa, tortillas . They had rules on what they can eat, but this was the basisc. I was in shepherdsville Kentucky hiked the Appalachia mountains that was nice. I plan to travel as nomad. I am computer tech, all I need is connection to work. Thank you. Did you notice McDonald’s and walmart every 30 miles max... I found costco, here and there. But walmart is networked together which was intresting.. Downey California
Thanks for sharing Frank! Yes, I did see how big Indiana was on RVs. The headquarters for our type of RV (Dutchmen Coleman) is in Indiana. All the best!
We’re still on the road Joe! :-) currently up north. Florida keys Traverse city Blue ridge mountains Virginia Acadia NP Maine Livingston Montana Those have been my favorite so far 😍 (Olivia)
Your guys are so freaking awesome 😎 Also your videos are killing it How do you guys make money to travel and expenses.. I'm traveling now and I'm so worried about running out of money and stuff
Thanks Stephen! We appreciate it man! Nathan has some fitness clients and is also a consultant and I help businesses manage marketing teams but I'm currently on the way out of that. For us, once we knew we wanted to travel full-time (4 years ago) we knew we had to create jobs that would allow us to live this way. We built a nice cushion of savings, budgeted out how much we needed to make and how much we could spend monthly, and continue to work 40+ hours per week. Do you have a skill that would allow you to work online? Or maybe find temporary jobs that you can stay put for a while, earn and save, and keep moving? Hope this is helpful!
Thanks so much for reaching out and great detail. Consulting is something I might look into I'm doing Uber Eats and door dash at some location's.. I appreciate your help and your content is so helpful.. Have you guys had any problems with water damage or leaks.
With saving money and keeping a budget.. That's very important. You guys keep it very real and I was wondering the reason why you guys don't really do the longer videos? I trying to get a video camera to document my traveling.. what video camera do you guys recommend.
Hey guys is 28ft is just trailer or to the tow bar? When you guys travel how far do you guys stop to your destination? I mean how long can the vehicle keep moving with tt until you have to stop? I hope I make sense. Looking forward for more travels
Hey Catherine! Great question! I didn’t know and just had to google it lol 28ft is the floorplan or usable space inside. The tongue is not included. So maybe we’re 31-32ft long? I’m a little confused by your second question. Could you clarify? Happy to help! :-)
Thank you for all the info. I recently purchased my first travel trailer and im always traveling the United States with my girlfriend. What source of income do you guys have while always being on the road and working from a computer????
Hey Allan! I have some fitness clients and have consulting calls. Olivia does marketing consulting. Our goal is to go full time with video production so we’re incrementally cutting our hours back with those jobs to be able to do more and better videos. Which already takes us 40 hours a week..
Hey Mark! We’re just using “Truck Maps” and “flattest route” right now, but that’s also because we upgraded our truck that can comfortably pull any incline!! 🤘🏽Hope that helps!
Hey guys! Great info, thanks for sharing. Can I ask if you guys ended up saving money by living this way? In my mind, it seems like this would be a very fun way of saving up money but I'm curious about how realistic that actually is. Is it reasonable to dream that I can work a regular 9-5 on the road and save half of my income?
Hey MonteCarbo! We just uploaded a video on our channel about how much we spent full time RVing last year. We're from California and we saved money on rent this year (rv parks were cheaper) and our final number was within our planned budget! We give loads of details there. Let us know what you think! Hope it helps ya!
hmmm idk exactly what to say to this comment! It's such a sad story. Odds are he was that way before living in a van with her. From my experience, living in a very small space with another person doesn't change you but amplifies the things you need to work on. If anything, maybe living in a van can make you a better person! I see how people can 'go crazy' in a van (because you don't always have the option to have necessary personal space) but to make such a horrendous decision.... that's in you or it isn't. I wouldn't be too anxious about vanlife couples. I'd say he was a fluke!
I’ve learned so much from you guys this past year. My wife and I plan to jump into the RV life upon my transition out of the military. Keep up the great work and know that people are rooting for you guys.

Thanks again
Olivia & Nathan
P.S. I emailed you! We got your donation 😃
You two make a great couple.love your channel
Thank you Ron! 😃
I like the longer video!! Thanks for all of this info
Happy you enjoyed it Jamie! Thanks for your comment!
Haha I’m sure most of this feels very familiar 🤪 yes, all the internet extensions, boosters, etc! thanks for your comment Sarah!
Great job taking advantage of adversity (covid) to create the opportunity to grow and flourish!
It’s been incredible and we’re thankful for it (and saved money)! All the best Kathleen!
Man, that intro montage was bangin'!
haha THE MEME KING! Thanks Dustin we appreciate man! Sometimes you find the perfect song and it's magic 😭
Oh I forgot I had unfollowed you when you went traveling. Now that you’re back in RV I said heck I need to subscribe again ✅done! Happy Birthday 🎂 Dude
I'm late to the channel but I can tell you I'm really digging it that information help me a lot thank you
All the ones who tried to be on RV for a long time, even for me, half time it can be a challenge. We definitijvely reuqire a Base Camp for sure
Yes, we do too! Today we saw a small Mercedes SUV and an old Range Rover pulling large rigs 🙃
This is super informative guys ! My wife and I after years of considering made the decision to attempt the rv life our selves. Early September of next year we hope to be on the road ! Possibly earlier if circumstances allow us !
WOOHOOO!!! How exciting!! Congrats! Hope you have the best time Neel + Mrs. Neel 🙏🏽
This was an awesome blog! Thx! Great job!
Thanks Carpe Diem! :-)
I really hope you two continue your videos when this trip end. Especially if y’all are in a new rig🤓
As always keep the videos coming, y’all rock.
And whoever dislike this video sucks.
We are 100% continuing the vids! RV life in the US, or somewhere abroad, we love making these videos and talking to everyone who comments each week! We’re still on the road now 😃 and plan to continue for a bit more. Thanks for your support Jonathon!
Love watching you two! ❤️🙏❤️
Yay! Thanks Miss Allyson 🥰 love seeing your comments each week!
Another great vid love you two you make me laugh. You should put a video on how much work goes into making these videos.
Yeaaaaahhhh! Love to hear it Ron!
Haha that’s a good idea. We’ll keep that in our back pocket. Would be either very interesting or very boring to watch our creative process & 50+ hours of editing.
Great video
Thanks Ron and Mia! 😃
When it came to planning, was it tough for some of the popular parks? To get s spot and such. How far did yall plan out for?
You two are amazing ✌🏼🙃
Thanks Heather!! All the best!
Just saw your video first first time. Well done. Great intro. Looking forward to seeing what your monthly costs are?
Thanks! Yes, that video will come a bit later (probably late November) when we head home for holidays so we can include the last few months of this year in the budgeting too! Cheers!
Boondockers Welcome can save mucho dinero! Harvest Hosts, Thousand Trails, Escapees, and RPI are other plans that can save lots!!!
Mucho dinerooooooo. 🤌🏽 we’re looking into HH! Not so big on thousand trails but there are so many RV life programs to join. Thanks Pat!
Love your videos so much. Curious…do you guys have jobs or by work do you mean working on RUclips and other social channels? Thanks!
Still waiting for the Charlevoix video!
It’s up now Scott! :) have you seen it?
When is your next short journey?
Also,
What were your top five spots in the US?
We’re still on the road Joe! :-) currently up north.
Florida keys
Traverse city
Blue ridge mountains Virginia
Acadia NP Maine
Livingston Montana
Those have been my favorite so far 😍 (Olivia)
@@ONWorldTravel good for you guys
It’s good to see the country at your age
Best of Luck
@@ONWorldTravel enjoy the rest of your trip!
You guys should be called smoking wheels
Ha ha!!
How does the wifi router/extender work?
It extends/boosts the signal you’re already connected to. 👍🏼 it makes the wifi a bit faster!
Your guys are so freaking awesome 😎
Also your videos are killing it
How do you guys make money to travel and expenses..
You guys need more views!!!!
haha send a prayer to the algorithm Gods! 🤪
I think you live close to us....Oroville CA.
When you cooked your brakes on those mountains, do you guys use a trailer brake controller?
hey John! No we didn't. But we learned it could have made a difference. If we keep this truck and trailer longer, it's something we'll look into!
@@ONWorldTravel the rv dealer said it was a law so I had to look into it. Honestly wished you could rv internationally too
Can you do a budget video
Coming soon 💪🏽
Can you do a review on the Outland mega fire bowl contact the company they should give a free one to review
Thanks,
Mike from Texas
hey Mike, whats a mega fire bowl?
You missed lake placid Ny and the Adirondacks😢
ah bugga! We'll make a note of it in our NY travel list and check it out for next time :) thanks Road Not Taken!
Do you have a trailer brake controller?
We do but haven't connected it to the trailer yet
Thank you for all the info. I recently purchased my first travel trailer and im always traveling the United States with my girlfriend. What source of income do you guys have while always being on the road and working from a computer????
Hey Allan! I have some fitness clients and have consulting calls. Olivia does marketing consulting. Our goal is to go full time with video production so we’re incrementally cutting our hours back with those jobs to be able to do more and better videos. Which already takes us 40 hours a week..
👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👍👌 Your vids are the best!!!!!!!!
Thanks Andre 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃
What app do you use for RV GPS?
What kind of work do guys do
Fitness, marketing and some consulting! :-)
You guys work remotely????, If so what do you guys do???? Olivia??? Nathan???
How much it cost!!!
Video coming soon Sheldon! 😀
😁😁👍👍👍👍
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Does Olivia have a single sister?
I have a beautiful brother 😂
After the Gabby Petito murder, I have so much anxiety about Vanlife couples.
hmmm idk exactly what to say to this comment!
Great video
Thanks Ricky!! Much appreciated! Cheers!
