You can shower with it i made a video in the pool with mine and it works even played music under the water when u take it out the speakers push every drop out its completely sealed so take it from me it is water proof by 1000%
Bro u need to test beyond the apple claims(30 feet depth for 30 min) and you are testing on simple waterbodies, clearly nothing going to happen for your precious iPhone with this kind of tests.

The iPhone doesnt recharge. I cleaned mine with a bit of isopropyl alcohol and when i tried to charge it i guess it understood the little bit of alcohol that went inside the charing port as water and a warning poped up telling me to wait for the water to dry before trying to recharge.

It turned off 2x…. I plugged it up and let sit in sun for a bit and it was fine since. I still def would not risk it
My 5months old phone survived 10 min after been accidentially put to water for 10 sec - after that it is crap and Apple says - sure it is not water proof so they can repair it for 400$ 🤷🏻♂️ seems it is warerproof for 1 week since open from a box :-(

nah, is ip68, you can keep it for a lot much longer in water not just 30 minutes, 30 minutes claims it the ip67.
