I want to thank everyone for checking this video out! I really appreciate it ... I also want to thank all of you that have left kind messages, both on here and the Facebook Kansas Fan pages. Because of you, Kerry Livgren saw my work and gave me a personal shout out on his Facebook page ... which was awesome! Please don't forget to like and subscribe to my RUclips page for future videos.
if it wasn't for KANSAS, I wouldn't have become a musician. Super cool hearing this track...I am still in disbelief that Walsh is singing...idk it's a voice i thought i knew but here on this track...sort of recognize it vaguely in places but then I don't... it's more organic and real and...idk approachable. Like bitadanger i too have a similar story and can relate... Thnx for posting!!!
@@GeorgeSawtooth I thought STE was a f**king awesome album! First recording with all the original members (plus Greer) since AV in '80. If Steve's & Robby's voices hadn't suffered the ravages of time, that album would be right up there with their 70s stuff.
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen put together for a Kansas song! I can tell a lot went into it. It you read about Byzantium, it’s a fascinating piece of history. There is a retreat center that utilizes the Byzantine architecture. It was either in Kansas or St. Joseph, Missouri. I need to look it up. Congrats on doing such a wonderful job.
I can tell this is not your fist rodeo for doing a great production like this! My guess is you do this professionally and it shows! Every time I listen to this song these visuals will be burnt in my brain! AWESOME JOB! 😍
some of the best!, great rendition to the track and the music, this is from the very last kansas master peace!, the best singer of prog ever!, only lake and wetton clouse...., top rock singer with mercury..., his power and passion, his ability to transmite emotions!, when kerry is back magic cames again....., is really a master peace album, and the dvd after it, the atlanta one...., is impressive...., wish one day ehart will be recognices as one of the greatest prog drummers ever with palmer, bruford, collins and ward from camel..., his drumming from that dvd is magestic!, thanks for the vid!,, it make me to hear the record after some years...., thanks.
Incredible! This labor of love indicates your respect for the band…the story…the musicianship. Not to be greedy or anything…but would love to “commission” you to a video for Tomb 19!
Great video! Would have loved seeing a little more of the band in it, but nicely done! One of my favorite (Kerry) Kansas albums! Are there any more videos from this album?
Thanks! My videos are usually done in pieces. An hour here, two hours there, take a day or two off, then back at it. Hard to say how long I took to edit it together. It's been going through my head for years.

You have GOT to do more videos! There are others like BEATRIZ and a guy who has done great Yes Rabin era videos that are mind blowing!

Wow. Thanks.
I’m 60 years old. Been playing guitar in band since I was 16. I know small amount about music, Kansas is one of the greatest bands ever.
Steve Walsh is one voice you hear, then know forever.
✌😔🙏🇺🇸
Kansas, forever the greatest American progressive band of all time. No video combines the feelings of both dread and joy together. Magnificent.
Gorgeous video! What a vocal performance by Steve Walsh. Even past his prime, he displays such a versatile talent.
Thanks for checking out my video. 👍
An underrated and unusual song for Kansas.

Excellent job.., Livgren tweeted the link.. 👏 👏
Thank you!
These videos are amazing! If you ever get around to it, Portrait (He Knew) would be an awesome video 🤩
Thanks for checking them out. You never know, I might do one for 'Portrait' in the future.
What a great guy Kerry is! He has responded to me several times on socal media.
Somewhere to Elsewhere is a fantastic album. Kerry Livgren always made magic with Kansas. Great video as well.
Thanks!
Wellll. . .except for Vinyl Confessions and Drastic Measures. Pretty weak comparatively.
@@markserour9115I like VC and DM. I always thought those albums were under-appreciated. STE is actually a pretty decent album too.

It is a great album indeed and the video makes this song even more interesting.

I edited this video from scratch a couple of months ago.
Good song, but too short. I always get the feeling it's unfinished, as if this was just the first part of a epic.
Very nice video for one of my top favourite tracks on Somewhere To Elsewhere. Well done. :o))
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Geniale
Thanks!

Who exchanged the Thunderbold to an Antonow AN 2 ?!
They’re trying too hard.
👏👏👏👏👏👍😁
Thank you!
