Synopsis: Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian -- albeit not the one he's looking for.

Besides the crappy CGI and Ezra Miller's disturbing IRL behavior, the movie is not as bad as people make it out to be, and seeing Keaton's Batman again is pretty much worth the price of admission. And I definitely think you should watch the original Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman movies, if only so you can see the genesis of the Batman movie franchise and how it ultimately led to the Christopher Nolan trilogy.

I went to see this movie because of Andy Muschietti
I love when horror directors make superhero movies
And despite everything that caused it to bomb, I had a really good time watching it
I think Muschietti did a great job, and I'm really looking forward to see his take on the DCU's "Brave and the Bold"
People say his Bruce doesn’t act like Bruce but I think their problem is Bruce doesn’t act like Batman in the comics that’s why the Batman had to be set in year 2 when he realized he had to differentiate the two
I loved that he put himself in the movie as the guy who's hot dog Barry takes.

1. the plot is better Barry Allen misses his mom and he goes back in time to save her but then it changes everything and Barry is trying to save that other timeline because he misses his mom and she's alive the plot in spiderverse is not bad but it was only trying to set up for beyond the spider and I feel like it should have been focusing on the movie not was gonna happen next
2. Barry has a better character ark than miles and miles didn't do jack shit it was mostly a Gwen movie
3. Ezra miller did a amazing job as Barry Allen acting completely different as he usually does and the voice also did a good job but Ezra Miller no doubt did a better job than Shameik Moore
4. The Flash had a better villian because Barry Allen is also the villian because of the mistake he made when he went back in time saving his mom and consequences were happing General Zod is back no Justice League only Batman and Supergirl and he is the reason why that timeline he created was gonna die because of his mistake I think it was smart how the movie can show what happens if u mess with time. The spot was just a werido he wants to destroy Miles and his universe because when he was 13 he threw a bangle like what and he randomly becomes a multiversal threat like it honestly felt rushed on that part.
5.The 3rd and 1st act of spiderverse is worth watching because the 2nd act is boring but the Flash is consistent its really fun and emotional and spiderverse is also emotional too Gwen back story and the canon event and thats what I like about spiderverse but 2nd act was lowkey letting the movie down but here are my 5 reasons why the Flash is better

Apparently the cgi is “bad” on purpose because its a representation of how distorted everything looks in barrys perspective because of how fast he’s moving
If you didn't know but Clooney also played Batman haha. I was hoping Bale and Pattinson would've been in this too but it was a fun movie overall aside from the terrible cgi. The biggest problem I had was Grant Gustin's CW Flash wasn't in it, imo the best Flash!
I want to see if they bring in Val Kilmer as well 😂

Apart from Zod and super-girl being under-used I thought it was ok, loved Clooney coming back, but I actually predicted that before the movie came out, Seb needs to watch the original batman movies next!.

I just watched the movie a few hours ago and idk why people don’t like it minus the cgi the story was great and I was engaged the whole film and seeing Keaton again was sick! I also loved the scene the introduced supergirl in just having her absolutely demolish everyone the second she gets her powers back

I watched it 3 times… in the cinemas. (Two times Imax, once 4DX.)
Regardless of the questionablely bad CGI, odd ending, and of course Ezra Miller, I did have a fairly fun time with this movie, and I thought it was an adequate adaptation of the Flashpoint story, although I do still greatly prefer the animated movie much more.
Even though this universe had some hits and misses and extremely bad misses, it still had ideas and concepts that could've worked if it wasn't for studio pressure for them to catch up with Marvel, and rush ideas and stories. It's definitely for the better that this universe is getting rebooted.
Hopefully, James Gunn will give us a DC Cinematic Universe that unites fans and shows the audience the true unlimited of DC Comics and their phenomenal characters and stories.
The animation is so much better lmao. When y compare them both this one lacks so much heart and good story.
I really liked this movie honestly. Sure the Cgi in the speedbowl, the usage of Zod and Faora plot point and the ending could've been better, But the action scenes, the acting and the cast overall was actually quite nice!

Thing is the actor for Zod didn't even really want to be there and I could see that in some of his lines
I think the reason me and a lot of other people don’t like this movie is because we know what could’ve been. I’m a massive fan of the flash and think he’s the coolest character, and have also seen the possibilities for him in the early seasons of the CW show/comics/cartoons. This was a fine superhero movie, but not at all the flash movie that I wanted, nor did it come even close to doing the character justice.

That's the reason for complaints on the internet about a lot of good movies. People want a certain thing and get upset when they don't get that thing. Then many of them go around saying the movie was bad. It's becoming really annoying as the list of the movies this has happened to is getting pretty long.
"You wanna get nuts?! Let's get nuts!" Is the most hilarious and nonsensical line in DC history. But I can't imagine my life without it 😢
I saw this movie with my parents. I loved it
Aside from the CGI microwave baby, I don't think the rest was enough to break my suspension of disbelief overall
I think the approach on the CGI in the running scenes was similar to what was done for the VR world in "Ready Player One"
The CGI characters in the cronoball scenes weren't meant to be real. I think they were meant to be echoes of the real ones. Like statues at an art museum
Maybe it would've looked better if they had been done in monochrome

It’s ezra that’s all, people hate every film he’s in even tho he’s a very good actor, they hate him cuz he went to prison for some shi I forgot but it wasn’t anything light
It had a lot of behind the scenes controversy going on that pulled down the movies experience with it for most audineces
Probably has to do with all the Ezra drama and all the allegations made against him
It's cuz it had no ending, his arc went unresolved cuz he still fucked with the timeline at the end, the main villain died in 2 seconds of screen time by accidentally killing himself and most of its comedic moments were more miss then hit.
Honestly loved this movie! Was really sad that people didn't give it a chance in the theaters. I'm glad Andy Muschietti is getting another shot at directing a DC film tho in Brave and the Bold.

I'm not the kind of guy to sit there dropping 'Ayo' at every attractive woman I see in a movie. But Sasha Calle as SuperGirl in this... Ayo man, she's actually gorgeous. The way she's underused in this movie is downright criminal.

Pretty sure purple Flash is supposed to be Savitar, right? The suit looks like the one from the TV show. And his backstory kindaaaa fits. And he has the facial scar.
The credits call him dark flash though i immediately thought about savitar with the design and reveal of who's under the costume too
It's only in the show that Savitar is Barry.
It depends on what route they meant this to take. Ultimately, the question is moot. This DC universe is over.

I love all the Batman movies. Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Christian Bale. Seb, you should watch all of them. I think they're all great, in my opinion. George Clooney one was a bit corny, though.

So, in case you’re wondering what the cameos were:
The black-and-white Superman is George Reeves from the 1950s TV show “The Adventures of Superman”, and this movie reveals that he has his own Jay Garrick Flash (Jay Garrick was the original Golden Age Flash before Barry Allen)
The classic Superman is Christopher Reeve from Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie and its followups (which I strongly recommend, it’s pretty much the comic book movie that started it all). The blonde Supergirl beside him is Helen Slater, who had her own Supergirl movie in 1984. Though the film wasn’t very well-received, it took place in the same universe as the Reeve Superman movies, but we never technically see them interact until this movie (sort of, they’re CGI here though of course)
We briefly see the Adam West Batman from the 1960s Batman show and 1966 film
And of course, we all know Nicolas Cage’s Superman was from the Tim Burton Superman movie that ended up never getting made, right down to him fighting the huge spider at the end (which was a request from producer Jon Peters, and ultimately ended up in Wild Wild West)
I genuinely love this movie so much
I thought it was super interesting how Ezra Miller chose to add "whippet huffing" to Barry Allen's core personality traits. But I guess all actors put a little bit of themselves into their characters
In the comics, Barry Allen is a chad (Batman even says that if his parents didn't die, he would want to have turned out to be the man that Barry is)... I am CONVINCED that the ONLY research Ezra Miller did into The Flash was watch the old Cartoon Network Justice League series... because that Flash was Wally West, and Ezra reminds me WAY more of Wally West than Barry Allen.

I give it two thumbs up. Ezra did just fine in it. Keaton did fine. Even Supergirl did fine. Shame Shannon didn't get more screen time, but at least he got some.

Well on of the reason people don’t like this movie is because they throw away Barry’s character arc right after completing it. He accepts he can’t change timeline and must let his mom die, then immediately changes the timeline again to free his dad, then acts confused when things are all messed up again

The Flashes should have gone back in time to months before Zod showing up, take all the information the facility gathered on Kryptonians, alert all the governments to prepare for ZOD. The defense contractor tasked to make anti-Kryptonian weapons could be LexCorp, and the final battle would have been military in LexCorp Warsuits, Supergirl, Batman, Flashes vs Zod's Army.

Yeah, that movie was great, storywise it's better than Doctor Strange multiverse of madness and Quantum mania. Only the cgi is bad. I sincerly think people hated this movie because Ezra was in it. And unlike No way home you don't need to forget the previous movies to apreicate it.
Ezra + bad CGI + overall bad taste in the mouth from previous mediocre and bad DCEU movies.
I just wish they showed who killed Barry's mom and used him as a villain (Zoom) instead of giving like 2 minutes to what is probably Savitar.

FYI at the end of flash you see another versions of Superman and flash. George Clooney played some of the other Batman's after Michael Keaton did. That why he was there. You have to stop the movie to see what I'm talking about. I didn't because I grew up watching all these movies and TV shows as kid I'm 53 yrs old .
It kind of blows my mind that he knew Michael Keaton's Batman was in this but he just watched it without going back and watching at least the first of his two Batman movies.
Super girl actually had her own movie decades ago alongside Christopher Reeve at one point, but not together in the same movie
as a father of 9 kids, the baby scene at the beginning got my palms sweating, i was always so jumpy whenever my kids were trying to learn to crawl because i didnt want them to bump there heads
You have to watch the cw flash, and arrow and the other shows for the crossover events

commenting this again for the reupload but this movie is PEAK imo, i've seen it 7 times and counting. apart from some of the cgi it's a near-perfect comic book movie in my eyes
This movie was definitely better than most of the negative reviews, but also not great, maybe good(ish).
There were a lot of things that worked and I found enjoyable, a la the banter between the two Barrys, but also a lot of things that didn't or kust felt shoehorned in, a la the different Bruce Waynes and Supermans, most of which either looked off or contributed little to nothing to the story.
That post credits scene was unexpectedly hilarious, however.
I think u should watch Paul it is technically part of the cornet to trilogy and is my favorite movies out of pegg and frosts
After watching Flashpoint,you should really continue with the DCAU movies that come after .(better than anything we got with the live action stuff)

I wouldn’t say Ben’s Bruce was depressed in that scene when he was talking to Barry. That’s how Bruce normally is. He’s so isolated, withdrawn from people, because Bruce Wayne is the cover. He’s focused so much of his life on being Batman that he doesn’t know how to not be alone. So when he says ‘maybe some other time’, that’s not him saying some other time, that’s basically him admitting it will never happen. Because Bruce doesn’t know how to go out and hang out as friends.
I mean look at his romantic relationships. Most of if not all of them are formed because of Batman

This movie could have been better, A LOT BETTER, if Ezra Miller wasn't such a F--king nut job, but it was pretty amazing to see Michael Keaton suit up as The Dark Knight one last time.
Explanation: Nicolas Cage was Superman in Superman lives, a cancelled film from the 90s. One of the only things we know is that at some point, he was supposed to fight a giant spider.

I thought this was a great adaptation using elements of the "Flashpoint" story. I know many people hated on this film but as a long time superhero fan I throughly enjoyed it. I thought Ezra Miller did a great job, loved the cameos , Easter eggs and especially Michael Keaton. Loved 1989 Batman. You should watch the 2 Keaton Batman films Seb. I'd bet you'd enjoy them.

Apparently the reason why Ben looks weird in the suit is because it wasn't made for him. It was made for the stuntman. Originally Ben was not meant to play Batman, only Bruce Wayne.

I’m in love with the flash. I literally grew up watching the flash TV show and I was so excited for this movie. If I put aside the somewhat bad CGI, I actually loved this movie. It’s sad that this and blue beetle are actually good films but releasing at a poor time
