Thank you, that was very useful! I'm just wondering what the difference between 다가 and 는데 is when it comes to giving background information? Cause I heard that 는데 can be used like that too

      Seohuyn Lee 님, 댓글 고마워요!
      V-다가 ⇔ A-은데/V-는데/N인데
Do you see the difference in their forms?
That is to say, only backgrounds of behaviors(using verbs) are used with '-다가'.
예) v.듣다: 나는 음악을 듣다가 휴대폰을 껐어.
예) v.가다: 나는 집에 가다가 친구를 만났어.
On the other hands, adjectives and nouns can be also used in -은데/는데/인데 to give background information.
      예) adj.어렵다: 한국어는 어려운데 재밌어
예) v.공부하다: 나는 요즘 운동하는데 살이 안 빠져.
      예) n.친구: 우리는 친구인데 안 친해.
Thanks for the inspiration for my next grammar video.
      좋은 하루 보내세요!

    선생님.안녕하십니까?
"저는 뭐 살까 고민하다가 케이크를 양손에 들고 갔어요" 그리고 "저는 모임에 나갈까 고민하다가 저녁에 다른 계획도 없어서 모임에 나가겠어요"
두 문장에서 "다가" 어떤 뜻이 있습니까? 설명해주시겠어요? 감사합니당♡♡♡
