In an alternate reality, Miles Morales was always the real Spider-Man, while Peter Parker was introduced much later.

Peter was aged up and married to MJ in the comics, so Miles became the new teen Spider-Man. Why do you think they picked such a young dude to play Peter in the MCU? People were cracking jokes about him when they first revealed Tom Holland as Peter Parker. They want to use Spider-Man to relate to kids and teens. Miles is the new teen superhero for Marvel. Unless they try to replace him with Kamala Khan or something.
I'd actually really like to see a 1960s style comic Book crossover but only featuring new Superheroes and Villains I.e. Ms. Marvel, Gwenpool, Iron Heart etc etc

This made me picture the alternate universe where Miles Morales was the original Spider-Man created by Ditko and Lee in the 60's and was the only version anybody ever knew until Brian Michael Bendis introduced Peter Parker in 2011

I really like Miles Morales' Spider-Man suit. With it being more black it's more stealthy but it also has the friendly red color that Peter Parker's suit.

I was 4 years old when I became a "Spider-Man" fan because of this animated series. My family was also living in Wilmington N.C. during the riots and desegregation. "Miles Morales, Spider-Man" in the opening theme, makes my heart soar like a hawk.
