I have the season two introduction on VHS...I've watched it hundreds of times...and yet I've NEVER before noticed those changes! :) - I always remember seeing the bizarre little loop on Spidey's initial swing as the title fades...but the other shots...never clocked them - Thanks for highlighting this. Amber! :)
I was first introduced to Spider-Man through this show. It was one of my favorites to watch on Teletoon Retro every weekend. The theme song alone had me fall in love with it. And after that, I was in for Spidey!
I watched Spider-Man every morning before I walked to my elementary school in Ohio. It was my first year in the USA 1983. The theme song brings back memories.
"SPIDER-MAN, SPIDER-MAN Friendly neighborhood SPIDER-MAN. Wealth and fame, he's ignored. Action is his reward. To him, life is a great big bang-up. Wherever there's a hang-up. You'll find the SPIDER-MAN!"
The Statue Of Liberty scene fascinated me as a child and young artist then as it does now and the score has such a heroic tempo..great editing as well as content, humble thanks
This is my childhood. That's how I was introduced to Spider-Man. I remember his battle against the most famous villains of this cartoon. For exemple, Dr. Octopus, The Phantom, Mysterio, Electro, The Green Goblin, Rhino, Scorpion, and The Vulture, probably his worst enemy. Always great to see the web-sligner using his powers against those villains. His struggle face to his adversaries was the best moments of the show. I used to watch Spider-Man every week after school at 4:30 PM. I've never missed an episode. Great memories. It was all my childhood.

The editing difference in the season 2 intro is subtle at best, but I never would've known otherwise. Thanks for your content, Amber.

I never knew the legendary Ralph Bakshi worked on season 2.
Actually seasons 2 and 3 was done by Ralph Bakshi and his crew at Krantz Animation. Season 1 was done by Grantray Lawrence before went bankrupt.

Same
Imagine if Spider-Man talked over his mid-show bumpers.
I just realized that most of these voiceovers are the same ones as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Wow. I love Spider-Man because he defeats the Green Goblin and many other villains.
Crisp! Love it.
On these 1969 spiderman cartoon bumpers he never said spiderman will return after these messages and we now return to spiderman
My sister in law: Beautiful!
I used to watch this

What is this on hanna barbera?
No
They only did the original Fantastic Four series and the Thing segments on Fred and Barney meets the Thing.
Spectacular Spiderman is better
Not “better,” just different.
