Congrats on the SI gig, Danny. Fun discussion of hobby knowledge. Thanks to Jefferson Burdick for keeping the books, to start. The periodicals of the 80’s were to huge, and it feels like the internet/RUclips is really maturing in terms of dynamic sources of trustworthy information. Well done fellas.
Thanx fellas all great points an places of knowledge i use them all myself daily ....also anything super rare from my childhood hobby journey that was in a display case or in beckett that was basically an "urban legend" an wayyyyyyy outta my snow shoveling and lawn mowing reach 😉 is what i chased when getting back in early 2018 like i never missed a beat! As well as some modern i believe will be super stars or HOF down the line! Im a long haul type collector and a fast bread , rinse an repeat Dealer 😉💯💪🏻
Just finished listening on Golden Age 👊👊. Mike I am one that listens in full no breaks. I love podcasts more than videos and audible books for the win. 3rd for me is youtube. The rest of the socials im out 😂😂. Fun stuff as always 🤙🤙
I acquired a lot of knowledge from sifting through the Beckett almanac. When I was making a checklist for my 82-96 hof diamond king autograph collection, that's how I discovered the leaf canadian greats and the 2 Dks from the learning set. And it was quite fun finding those items. Even more fun aquireing them
Good show and nice to hear. Question: what is both of you your top 5-6 RUclipsrs that you follow that are in the hobby and you just enjoy watching. ie they are just regular collectors like I am. Thanks!
Hey Mike, I really enjoy the content you put out, thank you for all you do for the hobby. Along the lines of acquiring hobby knowledge, I have found an alleged authentic Christy Mathewson card that I am having a very hard time identifying and/or authenticating. Just wondering if you'd be willing to take a look at tell me if you recognize it. Thanks again for all you do. Jason
Always enjoy listening to you guys talk. Thanks again

Thanks Reuben. I just got the Canadian Greats Tim Raines. I never knew about it
@BaseballCollector I missed that opportunity on FB. I didn't notice it on the post. Otherwise, I'd been after it
