"look at me fighting with this blueberry" lol:) I love how you always dive right in. I want to make this and am no good at making pie crust, but it's probably the butter getting too warm like you stated. As always, looks yummy!
Haha you know I love to eat!! When making pie crust, just make sure the fats are cold otherwise it turns into a big mess. Try popping it in the fridge as soon as you start feeling like it's getting too warm and re-roll it once it's had a chance to get cold again. Hope that helps! :)

I've seen the food processor method, but my food processor is also just a wee one. I'm going to try this because I always have very warm hands and live in very warm New Orleans, so I have gone round and round trying to get a consistently perfect pie crust! Love all of your videos.. you are just the cutest little thing!! =D

I've just been feeling (and this is only my opinion), however, that with your recent episodes, the videos feel like less of a conversation as they were before (like the Confetti Birthday Cake episode, for instance). You have a great natural and silly personality that, when it comes through, always made me feel like I'm watching a good friend of mine sharing with me her ways of how to cook. Again, your presentation is clear and very engaging; my only suggestion is to make the feel of the video a little more casual and unscripted (like the birthday cake recipe).

I live in Canada and I know Wal-Mart sells vegetable shortening. I don't see why it would be different in the US.
