As a Motswana, I believe Tebogo intended to say that Noah was overconfident. He may not have fully understood the meaning of the word "arrogant," which is why he used phrases like "loud, arrogant" and seemed uncertain if he had expressed himself correctly. For example, Noah was jumping and running around before the race, wasting energy when he should have been focused since he hadn't won yet. In Botswana, English is our second language, and we learn it in school. Tebogo is still young and expanding his vocabulary. Social media often amplifies the negative, but in reality, Letsile is a humble young man who respects everyone. People on social media shouldn't rush to conclusions. We all come from different backgrounds, and if Tebogo had expressed himself in his native language, the meaning might have been different.

When it comes to being the biggest braggart in this sport Noah Lyles still wins the race hands down. No photo finish there. Tebogo isn't even in the running for that title. Why overanalyze what Tebogo said? He said on camera what everone's saying behind it. Maybe it was provoked by Nyles' over the top exuberant entrance before the race. That entrance was utterly disrespectful to the race. He slammed the number box behind the blocks and damaged it, causing an unnecessary interruption which deserves reprimand. Furthermore, I feel that the US team management should have been reprimanded for letting Noah hug other athletes, with no mask on, while being Covid positive. Tebogo's comments are Zenafobic. His negative characterizations about Noah being arrogant and loud reveals the envy and jealousy he have hidden inside his heart and mind and is very distssteful and unprovoked.
Their are many athletes who are very confident in their coaches, their training, and their abilities to not only win but to be great.
All the Jamaicans have it and speak their mind but no Boswanians have said nothing about any of them or talked down on them.
This guy have won one good race and he's now insulting other runners, what nerve he have they should take the gold metal away from him for unsportanlike behavior, for being arrogant and loud on the biggest stage in the world. Nonsense.

He Has more confident just by saying that. It may also because he comes from humble background and instead of saying hey, I am not there yet, but when that time to be the face comes, i will take it by strides.but for now let me focus on details. If you look at most african athletes they don't brack too much, take for example rudisha or wanyonyi who is likely to break rudishas record he is a quiet guy. Most media in america hype lyes performance, Tebogo comes in with a world record in 300meters and noone is expecting him to win. I think the media were biased at the olympics. liyles don't have any reocord yet except loud. Though i kind of like him, the media should have been discussing more of the guy who has a world record already. I mean breaking Usain and verni 300 meters is not a work in the back. tebogo lossing is mom set him really back but i think that 200meter record could have gone by now. cheer!!!

True greatness is when others speak positively about your achievements. Lyles consistently.boasts about himself while putting others down at the same time. Said after the 100 at the press conference that no one will be winning but him. when he comes off the curve, they will be depressed. This coming from a clown who won the 100 by a chest hair. The he runs and comes in third. Now he's like a dog with his tail between his legs and fakes being drained because he can't accept losing. I never did care for the constant bs of Lyles. Dude all you're doing is running a race and Tebogo just put him into check. Anyone butthurt on here by Tebogo's comments are always the ones who can't handle the truth. Tebogo didn't have to talk the talk because he walked the walk. Something Lyles should learn from. But I doubt it. Respect to Tebogo and Botswana!!!

Many of them make these bold bashing statements that they're not like others that clearly show they are sneakily arrogant that way and worse. Makes no sense to envy or down talk someone because they're different. They have lots of toxic comments against Noah, but at least he stands with self-confidence. Thats what makes him stand out among them and they hate him for that. It's not that hes arrogant as they're claiming. They just need to know the difference.
