That video footage coming out of the iphone 15 is actually insane.
Love the factor you can set it to either 35 or 28...The progress looks insane lots of details..smart phones are really becoming the street photographers back up camera when on a pinch
Always appreciate it when photographers give their smartphone perspectives and reviews 😊😃
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos. Relaxing to watch
Glad you like them!
Enjoyed the video Mike!
Turning “Live” off should remove the shutter button lag. They delay you see is the total frames being captured.
(I think)
Best wishes in the 100k subs!!
You got this!!!!
I do believe live was off, but it could add to the delay for sure. hit 93k today - we're almost there haha
Great video! This ones video features finally made me upgrade, a fair amount of iPhone 11 footage ends up in my video! And the ProRes Log really goes look great!
The log footage is good, I will be using it way more in the street photography videos when I’m out and about.
First impressions: London looks very shiny and clean.
Also, is it weird that I sometimes prefer the ProRes Log versions?
log format is insane
I've just tested if there is any delay on my 15 pro when taking photos in raw format. I took over 20 photos one after another and did not experience any delay. Maybe test conditions were not the same but I would ecourage you to compare with another iphone 15 pro, even in apple store. Sounds like your unit might be faulty.
Wasn't expecting to like the quality of the photos as much since I have struggled with getting back to using a phone for photos when I run out of film, but I will admit that the footage recorded for video using the iPhone 15 Pro looks really good. Since so many people have iPhones, do you feel that this one is worth updating for?
I never really thought iPhone video was good, but it’s definitely nice to grade log footage. It looks pretty cool.
suggest me I should upgrade to 14 pro to 15 pro max?and In 15 pro max have any stuck issues for few hours?
that edited shot @ 2:00 is stunning! available as wallpaper maybe? ;) keep up the awesome work!
Thanks! Glad you liked the photo, dm me on instagram and I’ll send you the image 👌
@@MikeChudley oh wow thank you so much! Sent you a DM ☺️
I have a 15 Pro and the photo quality is really good but when I had a 12 it was still good. I really don’t like taking pics on my phone unless it’s an emergency. But when you said the pro is better than most $400-$500 cameras it should be, we are paying like $1k for a phone that mainly is costing that much due to camera tech and chips
What camera do you use to vlog?
Curious if the 5x on the max was a reason you went for the pro, or is it just form factor you like better?
Form factor definitely - the max is too big haha
This phone really substitutes compact cameras and also entry level crop cameras. I would go with smartphone (everyday) and full-frame DSLM (planned shoots).
Using a phone as a camera has never been fun. I only use it as a camera in cases of emergency 😆 The quality of those photos is mind blowing! Nice to see Pete again with his blonde/white hair 😂 Guys, are you drinking coffee in wine glasses??????
Wine glasses?😂
@@MikeChudley At 3.19! In Greece those are wine glasses!!! If you ever come to Greece a set of proper coffee cups will be waiting for you! And a set of wine glasses since you seem to like them for coffee...
Great video. The photos and video from the iPhone look great. But I'm an Android kinda guy so i won't ever be buying one! The edited photos and colour graded video are like night and day - good work!
I'm not sure I agree with your comments on sub £1000 camera setup, just use your phone though. Or perhaps I didn't understand what you meant. I'm not a pro photographer in the slightest, but I'm really happy with what I can do with my £600 Sony A6400, and I i know plenty of other amatet that are producing amazing work with cheap and cheerful MFT cameras, budget Fujifilm cameras etc and I'd still always go for a cheaper dedicated camera over just using my phone, regardless of the cost
When you say color corrected and color graded did you do that in Lightroom?
Yeah :)
Somebody say iPhone 15 pro overheating issue have
It’s still solve or not
Your Phone Any overheating issue have or Not
Which software are you using for video color grading?
Adobe Premiere Pro 👍
I want to know the storage you got for your Iphone 15 pro.
256gb
@@MikeChudley Thank you 🥰
Any issues with overheating?
Nope :)
3:49 bro nobody punch you yet ? :D
I wonder what he thinks of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Raw 12Mp Or Raw 48Mp ???
48mp
Why does the raw video look so murky? Looks awful.
Before or after it’s colour graded?
@@MikeChudley Before. The contrast is terrible. Like there is some kind of filter over it.
@@ohwhatworld5851that’s raw footage. It’s flat footage so it retains detail which can be brought to life when you edit. If you look at Canon Log, Sony Log etc etc. the log footage is always grey, flat and ugly but those files are like a starting point so the editor can colour grade much better.
@@MikeChudley Weren't they recorded on iPhone? Is that was the standard iPhone footage looks like without editing?
@@ohwhatworld5851this was answered. Do some googling. Log footage is raw and plain in that mode with the purpose of editing and grading. Not used as is. You can use all the other video settings like 4K for normal iPhone footage straight out of camera. But it’s just not editable for a really custom footage. Same as raw vs jpg for photos.
This video proves that pro models are useless XD all this marketing is so bullshit. Just let us have a 10 hz display and 77mm on regular model and we have everything we need. And if you want to do pictures just grab you camera.
800£ camera have a bigger sensor than the iPhone give them a good lens and it is way better than iPhone except on small screens.
The only thing that camera don't have is the iPhone side of smart software to manage the picture taken.
You’re correct about the sensor and a lens on £800 camera - it would be a better image in my opinion as well.
But 4k, easy to use and easy to manage footage, no faff, both video and photo hybrid, no extra lenses, easy to edit, produce and upload content… more people will take that convenience (and still great quality) over buying a camera. Especially beginners.
I’m all for using a camera. There so much to learn by doing so, but anything less than £1000, a new (ish) iPhone can easily compete with all beginner cameras.
>just grab your camera
yea I think this is literally the main point of the camera on the iPhone lmao
