Kaeya’s one gets even better once you realise that his (I think C4) constellation gives him an actual shield if he’s low on health. Additionally, one of his talents was originally named “Heart of the Abyss”, he has a lot of ties in lore to the Abyss, and seems to wear a cryo abyss mage’s fur on his cape… 😏
If I recall correctly, even his English VA said it once that there’s more to Kaeya than what meets the eye.
That one definitely isn’t a coincidence and we’ll probably find out a lot more when the time comes.

@:-Torodekii Well a constant full HP shield wouldn’t translate well into a playable character that isn’t a shielder, not even Zhongli (the god of shielding) has that.

@@HeliosOfAtlantis I have no idea what Zhongli is capable of (without his gnosis) according to the lore, I haven’t seen him do much
He is still an adeptus with a vision, even without the gnosis. So I imagine he can still do those things

can't believe the childe melee stance and hydro abyss herald fighting style isn't in any of these, unlike most of these,it even makes sense lore wise what with him learning it from skirk when he was in the abyss 😭😭
Skirk might be an abyss herald or lector who takes on a human form to seem more approachable to at the time young Ajax
I’m pretty sure that kaeya and wanderer’s attacks looking similar to anything regarding khaenriahn people and machines are entirely on purpose. Kaeya’s connection is obvious, but wanderer’s connection is only mentioned in his character stories. His puppet design is originally khaenriahn in nature, the blueprints and inspiration for his creation was taken from blueprints of ruin machines. A lot of his attacks, animations and some of his kit look a lot like ruin guard, ruin drakes, the aeonblight drake etc. The reason why the rogue hilichurl’s attacks look similar is probably because a hilichurl is from khaenriah, and of course the original creators of wanderer’s blueprints would use their own attacks. If anything, wanderer copied them, unintentionally of course
Now imagine if in future we meet a ruin golem that can fight and gives us quests

Condidering every abyss creature and Kaeya has the same background, I'm not at all surprised at the similarities
It's interesting to see how people and creatures with the same element might exhibit similar powers whether through natural development and/or mimicry
Reminds me that I wish Dehya moveset were more similar to the eremites enemies, really those anemies have nice concepts to be applied, also it would be nice to have a character that makes you feel you're using an enemi npc
It would have been nice if Dehya could summon a sacred beast like them too...
