Gameplay is the answer to your head scratcher. If you think about it, the only things in the game that can stop Neuvillette right now are Hydro immune monsters and Hydro shields.
It's worth mentioning that the Fungi give different materials for different elements used to defeat them, which really takes them a couple tiers down for me.
I thought this was an issue originally too, but there's so many in the overworld, they have generous drops, and you can still get normal drops even when scorched or activated it's just a lower chance, so I've found them to be one of the easier enemies to farm. To put it in perspective, there's about just as many fungi as there are slimes or hilichurls, but fungi are only in some areas of the map making them more grouped together while the others are spread everywhere. They even have better drop rates than hilichurls, similar to slimes, yet they're also used by fewer weapons/characters. Essentially you could exclusively use pyro and electro and they'd potentially still be easier to farm than hilichurl masks, which are often among the ones people have excess of tl;dr they sound a lot worse to farm than they actually are
@@annaairahala9462 as someone who has made a second and third account, people REALLY underestimate how HUNGRY you get for those masks and arrows at the start of the game. they're more precious drops than godly artifacts!
Fungi are not much of a problem for me nowadays. They’re pretty easy to kill, and they actually drop something more than the common fungal spore drops. Hilichurls are the real assholes.. I get 1-3 damaged masks from killing a whole camp almost all the time.
Fatui operatives are hella annoying in the overworld. You're trying to run past them to farm an artifact investigation spot or to get to a daily commission, and they spot you. The range that their aggro stays locked on is insanely far, and they relentlessly spam their attacks, often freezing you to pile on even more spam. It's like, GOMD FFS!
Imagine you use Ayaka's burst right next to a cicin mage and she just throws it to a little cicin that just happened to fly closer to you when you press the button That was me once
I had never seen the Fatui Pyro Agent's clone attack until I played the tcg and saw the burst there. Thought it was cool and decided to toy with a Pyro Agent in the overworld to see if I could see the actual attack and sure enough, it was there.
back at the start of the game, i thought monsters got cool expanded movesets in the abyss because of this and the electro circin's shield thing. i only ever got to see those in the abyss so that was a reasonable assumption
A cool thing I noticed, but it would require Sumeru's enemis to be counted as 1 whole, is all the animals you encounter(Vulture, crocodile, serpent, scorpion and tiger) all appear as an elite consecrated beast or summoned by the elite eremites as mechanical versions, it's nice how consistent they kept the wild life ^^
The main three issues with constipated beasts are: a) stagger, fighting enemies that stagger you to death is NOT FUN b) hitboxes, their clunky big hitboxes that you can get stuck on when the fucker is dead already 0/10 c) refuses to group; they are too heavy to be grouped by anemo’s CC abilities, but their AI also makes them almost impossible to group and keep grouped by manipulating it. Also, several enemies that deserve a special mention on WHY ARE YOU THIS ANNOYING list: - pyro gunners, no one likes you jumping around and ungrouping you little shit - melee heralds, screw them and them dashing around and ungrouping and being annoying af - rifthounds, the big ones - WHY ARE YOU JUST HOVERING THERE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - the construction mecs, the anemo rollers have a bad case of ungroupable enemies with zoomies, big crane is annoying af with his spinning attack and just rolling past you 0/10 - kairagi. Just why. Why do you have to be so goddamn annoying, hard to group and have health retrival mechanic STOP BEING CRINGE - abyss mages WITH THORNS, I’m sorry but why do you HAVE TO apply element to me when I hit you???? - ruin crabs, shields are not fun
Mirror maidens would be way less annoying if their health bar was the same size as other elite enemies. The amount of times i was trying to kill a mirror maiden with a single pixel of hp with normals to save my cooldowns for the next wave/chamber only to waste like 10 seconds and restart is insane
*Phantasms exists* Cons: Inmune to Hydro Pros: Pyro, Cryo, Electro and Dendro mains having a field day My Arle sure is hitting harder than drunk father truck with these ones
first abyss 12 was the hardest ever. imagine everyone having weak characters, incomplete rosters, almost no choice in teams. Now add to that the fact that the abyss had a curse that made you not regenerate stamina (same as the mondstadt talent domain). plus, it was against fatuis, which are bonkers together when you're not strong, AND really difficult to deal with without stamina. first abyss easily takes the crown as the hardest ever and everyone who disagrees is wrong.
The consecrated beasts are only annoying because at certain moments, the game forcibly zooms in closer to your character while forcing a perspective and you can no longer tell what the beast not directly in front of your character is going to do next, then your squishy character gets OHKd.
i think the consecrated beasts are well-designed enemies! fighting one-on-one with them has the perfect level of difficulty i like in an enemy mob… but i definitely think they just get a bad wrap bc most of us were first introduced to them in the abyss where we didn’t know their attack patterns yet so getting slapped around and perma-stunned was pretty frustrating lol 😭 plus their hp pools were way higher in abyss which made killing them take more time especially in cases where there were two waves
My enemy tier list would be very different from yours. I haven't thought of any ranking between them, but what I have to say is: - Immune enemies are fun. They force you out of your comfortable single-character or strictly meta team, and they do it really politely, if you encounter them in the overworld (e.g. you can watch them before the fight). They add diversity and make your gameplay less repetitive. - Enemies with weak spots are fun. Again, it adds diversity to your game: you are not obliged to hit the weak spot (except for the ruin hunter mofo), but you can do it and it is rewarded. Since archers generally have less DPS this is a good way to compensate while keeping things manageable with other types as well. - Hilichurls are fun. All of them. The way devs voiced them is simply marvelous, I raise my hat in respect. Great job. It gets to the point where I sneak up to them just to watch and listen, end even when I fight them I tend to slow down to spend more time than I need to. - Teleporting enemies are not fun. God I hate these electro abyss mages! They freakin know you get big hit when they teleport, like, INTO YOU. But the worst of all are the ruin serpents. The moment they start their long-ass teleport animation they are invincible, and they do it out of nowhere: you just launched your massive ult, but they don't even get one scratch because their animation started a frame earlier. I feel like you should still be able to hit them while they are over the ground, or devs should have make it visible when they are about to teleport, so you could at least try to stop your finger pressing that ulti. - Big fat enemies are no fun. Azhdaha is the massive example of that. Hell you could spend a freakin century to go around that foker. They also can push you away from your Bennett circle or geo crystal you wanted to pick up. - Spectres are no fun, when they become immune after death and move towards you and blow up in your face. Actually, the first example of that bullwrap was the big pyro slime, but these at least wasn't leaping at you after they are dead! - Nobushi's sword block mechanic is... stupid. I mean they just hold their sword downwards and... what? How does this block anything, especially fokin arrows? - New Fatui Frost Operative is annoying. They have like one line and they repeat it far too often. I see the same issue with the Treasure hoarders, but they usually don't live long enough for it to become too annoying to hear.
I personally absolutely love the Fatui. They're my favorite common enemies, favorite bosses, favorite local legends, favorite characters, just in general my favorite everything. In PvE, the best way to do stealth is how it was done by the Fatui Agents. In PvP, the best way to do stealth is how it's done by the Spy in TF2
So.. what is a good enemy? Must be difficult but not annoying to fight, must have cool attacks but not move too much, but be elemental but have no immunities, must be interesting to fight alone, but also to fight in pairs, must hit hard but never stop you from hitting them.. I've thought about it countless times, and I can never understand what is a good enemy that it not a boring enemy.
I hate consacrated beasts only in Abyss variant. Firstly there are two of them. Idc how well telegraphed they attacks are, they still fast and heavy. And it's hard to look at two quick but well telegraphed enemies. Add to that their elemental reaction, agility of each of them, and need to monitor spawn of that seed or whatever that stans them. And secondly, Genshin love to make normal enemies stronger in the Abyss. Not only Abyss beast are tankier and do more damage, They also simply BIGGER, so it's harder to monitor both of them, and also they have increased stagger. In overworld I can stagger consacrated beasts quite regularly, but Beasts in abyss were like immune to it or smth. But yeah. In overworld I love this things. They are like litteral minibosses, I think it's cool
Consecrated beasts are beautiful design wise, they maybe even cool mechanic wise, but they're insufferable in abyss. If there's one, ok. If there's two - it's a hell. They're too unpredictable and can cancel their moves midcast. If your win depends on that kind of rng - it's understandable why people hate them.
OK don't get me wrong Consacrated Beasts are INSANE looking enemies, i love them and i would genuenly accept 2 more like a Cryo and a Geo one like idk... a Geo Turtle like you find in the last desert area and maybe.. a Cry Manta Ray ?! But too fight against them is a PAIN a real pain... like god i have flashbacks of thoses abyss floors with the Scorpion and the Vultur because thoses 2 are for me the strongest. Anyway great vidéo !
Finally someone else who loves the consecrated beasts! Literally my favorite enemies they've ever added! It's even better when you have at least 2 like in abyss because then they actually have the potential to hurt you
Honestly,I wish Fontaine and Sumeru's enemies weren't this cute. I also wish they didn't make the hydro eidolons an enemy as well. They were so adorable during the event...
As long as big Nobushi have dark Souls 2 level of tracking (switching directions mid swing and mid JUMP) and their stupid 360 degree block, they can rot in the Z tier
I really dislike consecrated beasts because in the abyss i cannot see anything because of all the effects (kazuha's burst, pyronado, enemy effects, etc) and in addition to that my pc really lags sometimes so i just feel like i have no hope of dodging them ( i also suck at learning enemy attack patterns). Even when i bring zhongli i somehow end up dying so many times before being able to clear it
mirror maindens aren't actually bad enemies if they don't have that stagger resistance. i won't be bothered by it if it actually is hard for her to apply the aura on you. but most of the time you'd get hit by it
The consecrated beasts are possibly the first time I have ever gotten angry at you. Spiral abyss 3.7 (and others around that time) have forever put them in a tier infinitely lower than F.
I remember that 3rd chamber of 3.7 abyss had almost a 4M hp dps check with 4 consecrated beasts & then the 2nd half had specific shields that completely restricted your picks, for reference the current hydro tulpa in chamber 3 has 3M hp & the second half is easy asf
true skill issues. i dont usually play abyss. but if those colorful beasts are there then sure as hell i am doing that one. one of the few time that the abyss is actually "fun" and not stalling. dont get me wrong i never got 36star with those fukers in there. but i sure as hell respect them being there. if its not them then you have that damned wenut or the robo snake. fuk those
@@nk30020 Raw HP is not a very good metric to compare difficulty. For instance, in your example consecrated beasts get put into vulnerable mode when you break their juicy fruit, making them take more damage than normal. Whereas other bosses might have lower HP but have lots of time wasting mechanics like disappearing to Narnia half the time. Discrete damage phases (PMA), ability to be grouped (Triple Kenki), element check for shields (Baptist), etc. These all play a part in the larger story.
It is such an injustice I can't refight the Pyro & Electro Lector dual miniboss in the Chasm, that was such a goodass encounter to do while exploring maybe my favorite area in the game.
I put the consecrated beasts in S, for the reasons 1. They hit hard and aren't a joke in Abyss 2. Combinations of them utilize elemental reactions to their advantage 3. Tanky as well, but have mechanics to deal with it
I really like the consecrated beasts and actually miss them in the abyss. I even went into most of the abyss halves with them without shield/healing just for that extra challenge. The only nitpick I have is their hitboxes are kinda weird.
Consecrated beasts, as cool and threatening as they are, remain the most annoying, frustrating enemies in the game. On their own, sure, theyre a fun challenge, but throw 2 of them OR MORE in the abyss and it becomes an absolute nightmare. Also their wonky hitboxes still throw me off.
It's like fighting Raiden and Tartaglia (The whale version) at the same time On their own, they are fun challenges. Both at the same time though is a nightmare.
I feel like the worst part about them is random attack patterns Like have you ever tried to properly group the crocodile in abyss? They might be well designed, but these random attacks that make them go to the other part of the arena is the worst thing I’ve seen in this game
Also my character randomly starts ascending sometimes against the crocodile, i swear this thing wasnt tested in the slightest. I specifically trained myself to avoid attacking the sides of it
I love them! I think people just didn't learn their attacks before fighting multiple in abyss. They have very clear telegraphed attacks making them both fun and easy to dodge even when there are multiple. The fact that someone thinks their attack patterns are random just two comments up I think is a testament to this
I will not tolerate Slime slander. After Paimon, they are the face (mascot) of Genshin Impact. Plushies, web events, even Liben's merch is based on the Slimes.
abyss lectors in A? sure abyss heralds in A? i refuse to acknowledge this both of the heralds we have are absolutely horrible, as evidenced by 3.7 abyss hydro heralds in particular will take away your cooldowns (most of your characters rely on cooldowns to, yknow, damage their shields) and love dashing all over the place (away from you) cryo heralds taking away stamina is another stupid feature: seeing as dodging is tied to stamina, they make it so you... can't dodge? seems fair lectors are fine; hp drain and energy drain are things we've seen before, and are counter-able stamina drain and extending cooldowns? there is nothing we can do tl;dr is heralds are dumb, screw heralds
I think one thing this list highlights is how ranged units are generally considered kind of subpar. Many units lose points for things like flying, for not closing on the player, and such, which are all not issues when you're playing a ranged character type. Especially when you're using the likes of Nahida (damage at range to multiple spread out enemies, even), Yae, Furina, and such. Anyway, personally, I'd rate the fungi 1 category lower for one simpler reason: the dual item type drops based on the type of damage you deal to them. Consecrated beasts are not that bad. Just most people focus on offense, offense, offense, and, well, they punish for that. But if you have a team that can take a hit and has good poise, they're easy.
I would have been fine with the consecrated beasts in Abyss IF they hadn't made them so tacky. Like, generally in overworked they aren't that much tanker than a lawachurl but in abyss they were. and then of course they gave us FOUR of them. Only abyss cycles I haven't been able to easily 36 star in the last year and a half.
You're so right for this. Constipated Beasts are the best because they'te strong af. They're not running away and just slams at you. Love it more when it comes in pairs because I can finally feel the pain of being combo'ed by Elemental Reactions 😂
You know, this made me realize how little I actually paid attention to any of the enemies mechanics and just mashed buttons to kill everything. As long as I have Diona I never have to care. It’s like worse Zhong Li. XD
Personally I would rank the Eremites in S tier but not for combat reasons just overworld reasons. Most enemies just waddle around in the overworld, waiting for you to fight them but Eremites have fun idles, they play cards, dance and play some music. First time I encountered a group of them, I thought they were friendly since they just sat playing music with one of them dancing, then they got hostile and break their guitars. And if you told me that the Pokemon masters were rejected playables designs, I would believe you and ask why. I agree about the Consecrated Beasts, but only in the overworld as they are my most hated enemy in the abyss. Not having them in abyss is always a good sign.
I feel like most people's negative feelings towards the consecrated beasts is because of their time in the Spiral Abyss. On the overworld, they're fine enemies, and I like that they actually last longer than 1.2 seconds against me. But when they were put in pairs on floor 12-3? Level 100 with like 3 million health per beast? I honestly didn't even have the patience to complete the abyss for the entire time they were in it. I probably could have gotten on the struggle bus and grinded until I got my 36 stars, but I couldn't be bothered. I already don't like the way that the abyss' lower floors do difficulty; waves of enemies that are spaced far apart and extremely inflated health pools turn it into an unfun slog.
i hated rift hounds simply because their attacks have very long linear range and it has wind up animation that makes them go backwards, effectively dodging attacks before charging pass by u, so they often end up scattering everywhere specters are annoying because they dont die right away. some of them even chase after u after they die and the stage wont end unless they finish their death animation
WTF, I have NEVER seen that pyro agent attack in close to 2 years of playing this game! that said; good list I reckon. I mostly agree (even with the consecrated beasts!) My only two caveats are: The kairagi revenge mechanic is a neat idea but can easily feel really cringe in practise. Secondly, the fatui skirmishers shields should just dissapear after like x seconds. I have ptsd from overworld quests suddenly dropping a variety of them on me when I dont have the correct counter element and the game wont let me swap. Sure you could brute force your way through their dmg reduction, but thats speaking like an endgame player. Doing that at low AR with whatever random mishmash of characters you happened to have picked up was a souldestroying experience I still remember even now...
I only noticed the fatui agent attack when I first tried to solo the Viridescent domain out of boredom. Got really close until all those damn shadow clones came out lol
the only downside of fungi in the overworld is how their drops are affected by pyro and electro. So yes they aren't immune but u still can't use pyro or electro if u actually want good drops. Other than that, having them in the abyss is great
those beast at the end are literally the best enemy they have a good difficulty setting actually challenges us and is not just standing still and barely hurt us NO they are actually hard af and i love it i just wish we got more enemies similar to them so i had reasons to give a fuck about building my characters further
Geovishap hatchling did appear in spiral abyss, I remember struggling with them as they are tanking, hit very hard and geo debuff that spawn rock wave that even Zhongli cant tank all
the only problem with consecrated beasts is if they're put in pairs, it does not do a good job of portraying one's dodging abilities. there is a cooldown on how often you can dodge- and if one of them threatens an attack right after the other one has finished its attack sequence, the cooldown mechanic has a possibility of acting up and their deadly attack ends up hitting you. so there is a bit of rng involved, and i wish it wasn't like that, especially when their attacks practically one shot your characters
The "solution" (more of a "mitigation" since it works well but not 100% effective) is to use one of the beast's collision boxes to "box out" the more aggressive one. That way the aggressive one is trying to attack you through the blocker, which negates a lot of their damage since they can't reach you as much. You still have to dodge well and will probably still take damage, but it removes a lot of the frustration of multiple sources ganging up on you and beating your dodge cooldown.
ruin guards/graders would be a lot better if they didn't keep getting stuffed into narrow places in mondstadt and liyue especially. of course it's worst early-mid game, but there's nothing worse than getting pinned and shredded by their spin attack. personally i can't stand enemies with stunlock attacks, and it only becomes bearable later in the game when you can kill them in seconds. also the hydro slime/abyss mage bubbles are possibly one of the worst enemy mechanics in the game, but otherwise i love both enemy types
Abyss Lecters are indeed very annoying in the Abyss but man their aesthetics are amazing. Visual design, animations, and especially the voice acting on all the different elemental variants is top notch
Much as I hated the double concecrated beasts and rooms full of riftwolves at times in the abyss, I have to agree that they are very well designed enemies. Just sucks when you have to fight the clock while focusing on your rotations and the enemies' moves. But then again does it? It does feel very satisfying when you finally beat the challenge.
The element beast are all Sumaru animals so to keep that theme if they made more a geo stumber beast and cryo tortoise but really all I want I a way to fight the axe knight since I missed him the 1 time he was in spiral abyss
I recently looked through clips that I recorded in Genshin last year. The consecrated beasts duo in abyss was in one of them. In that clip my traveler got stunlocked and burgeoned to death in seconds. I do not miss those abysses. I do like their designs but with their stats raised even more for abyss makes it suck hard. My fav enemies are probably the black serpents purely for their design and I think the material they drop looks nice too.
I feel like a lot of enemies are disliked because they get put in Spiral Abyss together with other enemies that make them more annoying to fight. Personally I dislike enemies that TP or are invulnerable half the time, even worse if both. I just hate spending more time running after enemies than actually attacking them. I think the only enemy that TPs that I don't actually mind is the Mirror Maiden. Her TP animation is relatively slow, *she's not invulnerable during it,* she's otherwise pretty much stationary, still somewhat vulnerable to cc and she's relatively tanky.
I think what the most recent Spiral Abyss taught me is that it can make you hate any type of enemy if they're in the floor that's challenging for you (Example: I even started to dislike Geo slimes because I was having difficulties breaking their shields). So I think judging enemies based on overworld versions is much better. Since you are not restricted to beating enemies within the time limit.
abyss mages in B tier is bullshit let's be real here. there is nothing more infuriating than getting stuck in the hydro abyss mage's bubble while it dances around and sings at you. that alone should put it in the lowest tier.

Its very annoying, but I'd put that on the autotarget or kit designers.
A cool thing I noticed, but it would require Sumeru's enemis to be counted as 1 whole, is all the animals you encounter(Vulture, crocodile, serpent, scorpion and tiger) all appear as an elite consecrated beast or summoned by the elite eremites as mechanical versions, it's nice how consistent they kept the wild life ^^
I want Geo turtle and Cryo sumpter beasts
Extremely based
2:28 bro was edging us with that kazuha e
fr likee 😭
The main three issues with constipated beasts are:
a) stagger, fighting enemies that stagger you to death is NOT FUN
b) hitboxes, their clunky big hitboxes that you can get stuck on when the fucker is dead already 0/10
c) refuses to group; they are too heavy to be grouped by anemo’s CC abilities, but their AI also makes them almost impossible to group and keep grouped by manipulating it.
Also, several enemies that deserve a special mention on WHY ARE YOU THIS ANNOYING list:
- pyro gunners, no one likes you jumping around and ungrouping you little shit
- melee heralds, screw them and them dashing around and ungrouping and being annoying af
- rifthounds, the big ones - WHY ARE YOU JUST HOVERING THERE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
- the construction mecs, the anemo rollers have a bad case of ungroupable enemies with zoomies, big crane is annoying af with his spinning attack and just rolling past you 0/10
- kairagi. Just why. Why do you have to be so goddamn annoying, hard to group and have health retrival mechanic STOP BEING CRINGE
- abyss mages WITH THORNS, I’m sorry but why do you HAVE TO apply element to me when I hit you????
- ruin crabs, shields are not fun
11:14 they've been in the abyss back in 1.xs.. i can tell you they're one of the most annoying enemies back then with Whopperflower
Mirror maidens would be way less annoying if their health bar was the same size as other elite enemies. The amount of times i was trying to kill a mirror maiden with a single pixel of hp with normals to save my cooldowns for the next wave/chamber only to waste like 10 seconds and restart is insane
I used to be a Eula main. Then I spent months fighting rift hounds and specters…. I’m a Yoimiya main now.
It's the only thing tighnari and kaeya do better than my navia. Distract them with nari's burst and then use whatever element they are.
And i m wanderer and neuvillette main
@@Aven_lover The big hounds teleporting right as Eula’s burst exploded made me want to tear my hair out 😂
Yeah, Yoi's the best one at killing those specters. She's the one I use whenever I need to farm them.
That doesn't make any sense. The abyss that had 15 rifthounds in it was literally Yoimiya's worst enemy.
*Phantasms exists*
Cons: Inmune to Hydro
Pros: Pyro, Cryo, Electro and Dendro mains having a field day
My Arle sure is hitting harder than drunk father truck with these ones
Do abyss version tier list next? From easiest to hardest. I only started in 3.4, so it would be fun to see how abyss change over the years.
I can smell 3.7 as #1 lol
first abyss 12 was the hardest ever. imagine everyone having weak characters, incomplete rosters, almost no choice in teams.
Ever fought the legends?
My enemy tier list would be very different from yours. I haven't thought of any ranking between them, but what I have to say is:
- Immune enemies are fun.
Show me you dodging that Water Crocodile's diving attack that chases you down like a homing missile.
"very easily dodgeable" my foot
Could have added eye of storm. One of my favourites. An enemy really interested in ranged attacks
I think its high time for a character demo tier list too btw
I think also character trials, that'll be hilarious.
Consecrated beasts basically bullied me out of Abyss
Finally someone else who loves the consecrated beasts! Literally my favorite enemies they've ever added! It's even better when you have at least 2 like in abyss because then they actually have the potential to hurt you
Honestly,I wish Fontaine and Sumeru's enemies weren't this cute. I also wish they didn't make the hydro eidolons an enemy as well. They were so adorable during the event...
I sometimes feel bad about killing Hillichurls. Sometimes.
Not sure if best, but the beasts are one of the hardest enemies and I love them for that
9:41 the electro big hillichurl has managed to kill my “immortal” team by just stun locking me in a cave with water 😭 funny memory but painful
Was that in Sumeru? I may remember the same encounter, although I barely survived with only Layla left.
Only thing I hate about Ruin Guards/graders is their Spin Attack. It feels like the spin takes ages to finish.
As long as big Nobushi have dark Souls 2 level of tracking (switching directions mid swing and mid JUMP) and their stupid 360 degree block, they can rot in the Z tier
Any enemy with block mechanics that can't be countered by an element is F tier for me.
Here's a video idea if you're looking for one: 'Which is better: signature weapon or c1 for every 5* character.'
Even when i bring zhongli i somehow end up dying so many times before being able to clear it
mirror maindens aren't actually bad enemies if they don't have that stagger resistance. i won't be bothered by it if it actually is hard for her to apply the aura on you. but most of the time you'd get hit by it
i liked them originally because they were the tankiest enemy in the game, and the game desperately needed tankier enemies.
The consecrated beasts are possibly the first time I have ever gotten angry at you. Spiral abyss 3.7 (and others around that time) have forever put them in a tier infinitely lower than F.
Sounds like skill issue
I remember that 3rd chamber of 3.7 abyss had almost a 4M hp dps check with 4 consecrated beasts & then the 2nd half had specific shields that completely restricted your picks, for reference the current hydro tulpa in chamber 3 has 3M hp & the second half is easy asf
true skill issues. i dont usually play abyss. but if those colorful beasts are there then sure as hell i am doing that one. one of the few time that the abyss is actually "fun" and not stalling. dont get me wrong i never got 36star with those fukers in there. but i sure as hell respect them being there. if its not them then you have that damned wenut or the robo snake. fuk those
Skill issue. They're the ones who can challenge you.
Something i also like about the Fungi is how their drops can change depending on what element you apply to them before they die
Which is neat, but also frustrating as a Hyperbloom main.
I put the consecrated beasts in S, for the reasons
1. They hit hard and aren't a joke in Abyss
2. Combinations of them utilize elemental reactions to their advantage
3. Tanky as well, but have mechanics to deal with it
Yeah they were so much fun!
15:04
Righr, dodge by running and screaming
I really like the consecrated beasts and actually miss them in the abyss. I even went into most of the abyss halves with them without shield/healing just for that extra challenge. The only nitpick I have is their hitboxes are kinda weird.
Same!
This tier list is literally just all over the place
Consecrated beasts, as cool and threatening as they are, remain the most annoying, frustrating enemies in the game.
On their own, sure, theyre a fun challenge, but throw 2 of them OR MORE in the abyss and it becomes an absolute nightmare.
Also their wonky hitboxes still throw me off.
It's like fighting Raiden and Tartaglia (The whale version) at the same time
On their own, they are fun challenges. Both at the same time though is a nightmare.
I feel like the worst part about them is random attack patterns
Like have you ever tried to properly group the crocodile in abyss?
Plushies, web events, even Liben's merch is based on the Slimes.
abyss lectors in A? sure
abyss heralds in A? i refuse to acknowledge this
both of the heralds we have are absolutely horrible, as evidenced by 3.7 abyss
hydro heralds in particular will take away your cooldowns (most of your characters rely on cooldowns to, yknow, damage their shields) and love dashing all over the place (away from you)
cryo heralds taking away stamina is another stupid feature: seeing as dodging is tied to stamina, they make it so you... can't dodge? seems fair
lectors are fine; hp drain and energy drain are things we've seen before, and are counter-able
stamina drain and extending cooldowns? there is nothing we can do
tl;dr is heralds are dumb, screw heralds
I’ve been playing for 3 years and I’ve never seen the fatui agent ultimate lmao
Constipated Beasts send me 😂😂😂 you can put the abyss mage duo/trios to the pain list
Pyro vulture and Electro Scorpion overloading u back to back 😩
You know, this made me realize how little I actually paid attention to any of the enemies mechanics and just mashed buttons to kill everything.
Consecrated beasts are cool but ou know whats not cool? Those goddamn Frost operatives not only they are Tanky they're also quick and darts around.
I already don't like the way that the abyss' lower floors do difficulty; waves of enemies that are spaced far apart and extremely inflated health pools turn it into an unfun slog.
i hated rift hounds simply because their attacks have very long linear range and it has wind up animation that makes them go backwards, effectively dodging attacks before charging pass by u, so they often end up scattering everywhere
specters are annoying because they dont die right away. some of them even chase after u after they die and the stage wont end unless they finish their death animation
The whopperflower not being in the first slot of the D tier when it appeared before the sentinels in the video triggered my OCD lol
The only thing I do hate on the beasts is that they keep pushing you to the side, like… can I just stay where I wanna be? Please?
Lol at that Aether sarcastically clapping at your mess up XD
Please do Genshin boss tier next! :D
the only downside of fungi in the overworld is how their drops are affected by pyro and electro. So yes they aren't immune but u still can't use pyro or electro if u actually want good drops. Other than that, having them in the abyss is great
3:34 and 8:59 *laughs in Venti main*
The constipated beasts can go die in a fire tho. I don't want to see them in the abyss ever again.
Slimes not being S tier is CRIMINAL
Consacrated beasts are too cool to be anything below S tier, plus having something challenging in abyss is fun
Now apologize to Changsheng for making him and Baizhu into a piñata...
Changsheng is a girl.
The bird consecrated beast is the most terrifying
To be honest I actually kinda like the consecrated beasts off of design alone, the scorpion being my favorite due to having a bias for creepy crawlies
A lot of genshin enemies are fun to fight, but the problem is you don't interact with any of that most of the time. Just tank and kill them ASAP.
those beast at the end are literally the best enemy they have a good difficulty setting actually challenges us and is not just standing still and barely hurt us NO they are actually hard af and i love it i just wish we got more enemies similar to them so i had reasons to give a fuck about building my characters further
You did the Erimites with Pokémon dirty my dude.
Geovishap hatchling did appear in spiral abyss, I remember struggling with them as they are tanking, hit very hard and geo debuff that spawn rock wave that even Zhongli cant tank all
Everything where going fine til Rifthounds went S tier so I knew it was time to move to the next video
Literally every time I see that a ruin grader in a high Abyss floor, it makes me happy.
the only problem with consecrated beasts is if they're put in pairs, it does not do a good job of portraying one's dodging abilities. there is a cooldown on how often you can dodge- and if one of them threatens an attack right after the other one has finished its attack sequence, the cooldown mechanic has a possibility of acting up and their deadly attack ends up hitting you. so there is a bit of rng involved, and i wish it wasn't like that, especially when their attacks practically one shot your characters
@@phoenixlau Also serves the purpose of grouping for crowd control, solving the other problem of twin consecrated beasts.
In my delusional mind i was sure that is a tier list of enemy that is the worst to play against.
ruin guards/graders would be a lot better if they didn't keep getting stuffed into narrow places in mondstadt and liyue especially. of course it's worst early-mid game, but there's nothing worse than getting pinned and shredded by their spin attack. personally i can't stand enemies with stunlock attacks, and it only becomes bearable later in the game when you can kill them in seconds.
also the hydro slime/abyss mage bubbles are possibly one of the worst enemy mechanics in the game, but otherwise i love both enemy types
I haven’t even watched the pre-video ad.
Riftwolves. Riftwolves. My father was killed by a Riftwolf.
Thats literally the first time i saw that fatui pryo agent move. It could honestly be a characters ultimate
I disagree with the hydro phantasms but most that I feely strongly about (black chasm knights, rifthounds, spectres) you placed how I'd want.
I was today’s y/o when I realised fatui agents have an ultimate attack 💀 ar60 btw
The Beidou main in me found the background footage hard to watch (I wanted to E so bad)
Damnnn the editing has improved so much
I do hate the fact that corrosion affects your entire party instead of the active character, other from that wolves are cool
3yrs in and I didn't knew pyro agent had that cool clone attack :S
abyss mages in B tier is bullshit let's be real here. there is nothing more infuriating than getting stuck in the hydro abyss mage's bubble while it dances around and sings at you. that alone should put it in the lowest tier.
