It's ridiculous how uncontested Faker is as undisputed best. He's been the best for 3 going on 4 seasons now. His champion pool (legitmately everything), skill level for those champion pool, and consistency is absolutely absurd.
I feel like that at the same time is also a bad thing. Dudes so accomplished n successful that I think he's starting to lose the drive to improve. The quality of his streams in recent months is still good, but he seems to somewhat lack motivation just as it is with his lck games. Kinda understandable since he's won everything already. The only thing I think he cares about now is winning worlds again. Maybe it's just me but this is how I see it
i wouldnt say hes uncontested, dopa is at least as good as him concerning strategic play
MrCool1187 Yes but Dopa hasn't proven it on the professional stage. And that's his own dam fault. Kinda like Rush, Dopa is mechanically pretty good. But on a professional level, he doesn't exist.
Andrew Sabater dopa isnt even that good mechanically, he just knows exactly what do when. from a macro perspective dopa is a god
arguably smeb has performed better this season but I still rate Faker over him since Blank has just been awful

Why was 4:51 even added ? This montage feels rushed.
Let me elaborate on this. Three quarters of the clips were actually him oneshotting a target because he was fed as fuck, anyone can do that if he is 12/3. Or it's the teammates, who do most of the job and Faker just cleans it up, how is that an amazing play? I am not a hater of Faker, but sometimes even a turret shot will be a play for him.
Id say close to half the clips were one shotting. I went back and just looked hahaha. A lot of the clips were him getting his first kills of the game. It works like riot putting out a highlight reel. Not everything is going to be close 1v1s. Sometimes it is gonna be just big damage team fights. And after all.. League is a team game. So of course theres gonna be teammates of his getting in on the action.
+Prime evoL LoL It's true that league is a team game. But on the other hand, why do they highlight Faker as the best, when he clearly didn't do that much of it in a teamight (see 4:31). I get that he is a star and has a huge fanbase, but sometimes they are just exaggerating his plays.
He's playing against leagues top Korean players and leagues top players global and still comes out on top. It doesn't matter how fed you are, you can be easily killed if you make one mistake or if the enemy plays around you correctly. He knows when he can and can't fight and goes in when there's no cost except his life if he fails.
He's not as good as he used to be
its korean challenger no one makes the mistakes they used to make 3 seasons ago... everybody is playing perfect but faker is still crushing them.
Man most of these plays are just straight mediocre. Not what I'd expect from a Faker compilation.
