Jung Kook has a smash hit, that's for sure. He did a Weverse Live right after the GMA fiasco and we learned that he was actually sick and they didn't get to rehearse, but went right into "pre-recording" because they had to cancel the concert due to severe thunderstorms, and sent everyone home. Fortunately, the ARMY that camped out did get to see the pre-recording so they saw him perform, but without rehearsal I think a few things were a little off. Somewhere I saw Jung Kook telling a director, just 1 more (I think they wanted him to stop after 2 songs but he wouldn't). Jung Kook is so professional that he did amazing despite all he had to overcome (not to mention the language barrier). GMA in the studio interview they sent him to unexpectedly was a mess; no separate microphone and the interviewer translating instead of letting the translator do her job...just awful. And, I felt like they insulted him when they said Latto was a Grammy nominated artist - DUH - he is too several times over! Anyway, I'm super proud of Jung Kook. I hope he gets well soon! Also, he told us there is more coming, but he wasn't permitted to elaborate. I'm here for it all!

I believe what we are seeing is not real, but it is "all in her head", on a similar concept as in "Left and Right". Every time she "sees" him during her day to day life, he's not actually there. Just like the natural disasters are not there, they're a metaphor for her tumultuous thoughts about him: she can't get him out of her head. When she imagines him "dead", is a symbol of her thinking she's already moved on, she's finally over him. But it doesn't happen, she's soon back to thinking about him. And at the end she decides on giving the relationship another chance. It was said on the early press releases Han So Hee was the main character, so this makes a lot of sense to me!

He was getting IVs and “shots in his butt” right before hand. He was coughing after during his Weverse live. He did so well even through the circumstances.
I like the song and I think it’ll continue to do phenomenally on the charts. He sounds great, as always. I do wish he’d had a hand in writing it, because I prefer hearing his thoughts on things and he’s such a beautiful songwriter. If he wants to write about sex that’s awesome, but I do wish it were him. I love the choreography, too! JK himself is lovely and oof are his dancers distracting or what? I absolutely despise the music video. As someone who was stalked by a relentless ex and then gaslit by all my friends and family because “it’s so romantic!” - no. I’ve had stalkers and Abusive controlling exs , been SA’d and luckily for me it doesn’t bother or trigger me at all.. mainly bc I think about their culture, their kdramas and the extreme over the top behavior especially satirical which is what they grew up with ya know … and knowing jungkook and his intentions… I mean jungkook probably knows better than anybody what it feels like to be stalked at his home, his gym, ppl calling his phone and has expresses it making him uncomfortable…. I understand other people won’t see it the same way and I respect everyone’s right to enjoy it, and I still love and support JK. I’m just really disappointed they went there in a way that is clearly coded to be “cute and romantic” at the end.
That said, I’ll continue to support Kookie and the song itself. I’m glad it’s doing well and I’m glad he’s expressing himself in whatever way he wants to. I just hope we get to hear more of his own songwriting in the future because I have a feeling a sexy song actually written by JK would blow this out of the water.
I’ve had stalkers and Abusive controlling exs , been SA’d and luckily for me it doesn’t bother or trigger me at all.. mainly bc I think about their culture, their kdramas and the extreme over the top behavior especially satirical which is what they grew up with ya know … and knowing jungkook and his intentions… I mean jungkook probably knows better than anybody what it feels like to be stalked at his home, his gym, ppl calling his phone and has expresses it making him uncomfortable…. And asking ppl to respect him as a person… so the fact that it so extra and jungkook … any kind of negativity towards it just never even crossed my mind. I trust JK and know the man he is.
Jungkooks actual album will be written by him… with other ppl I’m sure.. but this was just a song that got sent to bighit… he heard it and LOvED the sound of it…. The fact that it’s mature in context didn’t deter him bc he said he wanted to show a different side of himself.. and hey… I support that. The man’s an adult .. and had a blast making it and the whole experience.. so that’s really what matters imo.
So I’m sorry that the mv affected you in a way that won’t go away, and I’m sure jungkook would be the first person to say not to watch it… bc he respects other ppls choices to support or not support different aspects of him and his art… and all he can do is make choices and roll with it! I’m so excited for his solo album bc he takes risks, does something ppl aren’t expecting.. and has the strength in character to understand not everyone is going to support it bc it’s a bold move lol always fun seeing new sides of the members this way.

Lol this interview was actually totally random and improvised bc they had to cancel the performance in Central Park bc of the lightning and thunder storming… so he went from soundcheck to the studio even tho it wasn’t planned so it was a bit chaotic… but I’ve learned to expect nothing from these interviews other than the boys being cute and too talented to be speaking to these ppl 😂
