I really was not a pop fan before BTS. Funnily enough, my one and only bias became JK who is the most pop star out of all of them lol But BTS has really thought me there can be heart, effort, and fun with any genre of music. I actually really like this song💜 And I don't think people realize how impressive JK is here! One thing is to sing in English, but rapping?? Even native speakers can find it extremely hard to rap, and here JK is rapping in his (third?) language that he is not fluent in.

The show got canceled, so JK had to suddenly pre-record a performance instead of singing when and how it was originally planned. He was also sick. He first recorded Euphoria, he did 2 takes on that one I believe (there is a fan cam online showing everything), then Seven, and then Dynamite at the end.

I love how the members dont give a f what other people are saying about their music/what they do with their life, there are people who dont like JK´s tattoos or his piercing, he appears with new colored tattoos and one new piercing. Some people are being racist and crying because he is singing in english, he doesn´t care and he sings in the language he wants. There are even few fans who dont like the song because it is pop, well that´s their personal choice, nothing wrong with that, but JK is not changing the genre or the language. Its so funny to see some people mad because he is singing a pop english song when JK is literally the biggest pop fan, his favorite artists are Charlie Puth and Justin Bieber, if they are fans how did they not see it coming lmao

The song was almost haunting and I don't remember the original giving me that, like that chill down to my bones. She really just has such a unique sound that I really felt like I wasn't really ready for her. I am sure during the song some of you probably noticed that my mouth was hanging open and I had to remind myself to actually close my mouth so I don't look like a big dummy. The song lyrics are on the adult theme, but song MV is cute & funny (except Latto's part... That's a bit sexual imo). Jungkook & Han so hee (the female lead) are representing boyfriend & girlfriend who are almost breaking up on that dinner table. Jungkook is the obsessive boyfriend trying to win her heart again, doing all those things, going behind her seven days a week. Lemme point out one thing... Even if he's shown obsessive, he doesn't disrespect her (as some antis were saying, he was forcing himself), he only touched her when she herself, in the end, asked for his hand. ❤ I love the song very much, it's addictive from the first listen. I agree that the MV is cute and funny. But it's confusing because it's disconnected from the lyrics. What we are seeing makes no sense in context of what we're hearing. It's obvious what the song is about.

I was curious what you'd think of Seven, Bryan. I sincerely hate to say it, but as much as I love JK and want to support him, I've had to to take a pass on this song. Not my cup of tea. As an ARMY, I WANT to celebrate and vote and stream all of the members' solo projects, but honestly, after BTS got my attention, I stuck around and explored their music precisely because it was not...what Seven is. 😕
JK is the biggest pop fan and he has been singing english covers since debut, his favorite artists are Charlie Puth and Justin Bieber, i am really surprised thet many people didn't see it coming hehe, i am not a fan of pop music either but i expected it, i also expected a colaboration with Justin maybe for his debut album
In a way the MV is raunchier than the explicit dance performance video. The MV has JK stalking a woman who has repeatedly told him to get lost, and Latto practically reinacting doing oral sex while straddling JK's coffin (in the presence of his girlfriend, no less). The performance video just replaces "loving" with "fvcking" and "we" with "you" --all the rest of the symbolically sexual language remains. (someone said not to Google "break me off"--too late). It does result in a very different feel--much less mutual--but Latto just becomes any sexual partner and there's none of the questions about JK's role vis-a-vis his girlfriend. And the dancing is smooth and sexy and enjoyable too.
