How To Download ZOOM Recording From Shared Link For Your Future Reference and store it in your Harddisk.
An alternative way of zoom screen recording:-
RECORDING YOUR SCREEN ON WINDOWS AND MAC
Here's how to record your computer screen on Windows and Mac using the Zoom desktop app.
Step 1: Launch the Zoom app
Step 2: Start a new zoom meeting as the host by clicking on the New Meeting icon as indicated in the image below.
Step 3: Click on Share from either the main screen or the toolbar.
Step 4: Select any screen, window, or application you wish to share.
Step 5: Click on Share at the bottom right of the screen.
Step 6: Tap the More icon to reveal other options.
Step 7: From the drop-down menu, click on Record to start your screen recording.
Step 8: When you have completed your screen recording, go back to More, and then from the drop-down menu, you'd click on End Meeting
Step 9: After you have ended the meeting, the software will convert the meeting recordings in audio and video files for storage on your PC.
step 10: After conversion, the folder containing the recorded files will automatically open. The audio/video file (MP4) is usually named 'Zoom_0.mp4' by default, while the audio-only file (M4A) has the default named 'audio_only.m4a' appended to it.
Step 11: The recorded files are stored in the following location by default:
PC - C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Zoom
Mac - /Users/User Name/Documents/Zoom

Thank you! This works (Aug 2020) but I also saw in the comments an easier way to press Shift + [Right Click] and select 'Save Video As'. Two caveats with that method: 1) Doesn't work on Chrome but works on Firefox, 2) You have to start the video first.

I used to be able to right-click and save the file. With the new security measures, I was not able to use that method anymore. This worked! You are a lifesaver!
Right-clicking was disabled in that top right region but was enabled in the chat region. I added the anchor tag there and it worked 😅.
Reading the comments I found out that there is an extension to allow right click too.
Anyway, this was nice. Thank you!
Works perfectly 26 aug 2021. Use "Allow Right-Click" by itworks Chrome Extension to, well, allow right click of the click me link.

LOL. You don't even need to edit the HTML. With the "allow right click" extension installed just right click on the video and choose "save video as". Thats it. Thanks :)

That's too much and it don't always work right. I found a easier way. Just start the video and hit "Shift and right click" then "save video as" and you can save it to your computer as a MP4

@@chakatania Did you start the video and then click in the video the "shift and right click save video as" it works for me. Don't click the actual link, you must start the video and click in it.

I come from 2022 and it still works. Unless you have to install some Chrome add-ons to enable right click on ZOOM site since they has disabled right click to prevent "Save Link As ..." selection.
Chrome add-on name I used: Enable Right Click for Google Chrome™
Amazing work!! Works in September 2022 too! But you also need “allow right click” extension.
On mac I just hold the control key then click. I wonder if it would be the same for windows where you hold CTRL and click on it.

It won't allow me to right-hand click on the "click me" button. I can run through the entire process otherwise, but the only space on the screen that allows me to right-hand click is in the transcript box. Is there a workaround?

Download allow right-click extension for chrome then all you have to do is right-click on the video and it will start downloading. But make sure the video is played and you right-click on the video not anywhere on the side.

bro, this does not work on 2022. The link is still there but you cannot right click now for the save as.
Your code works perfectly but the host has blocked accesses on the server side so the download is still blocked. I'm actually surprised that they were tech savvy enough to work that out.

Didnt work. The click me text did appear but nothing appears when you right click so cant save + some of the html stuff was different from the video mayb they changed it (and im obv not that savvy with coding)

I couldn't right click the "click me" button (Mac OS, Chrome). However, if I Option + Left Click, it will download the video automatically.

I got the download started, but my CPU was telling me it would take HOURS. Is that because of my present wifi connection, perhaps?

Thanks Sir. It was interesting but what to do if "Click me" do not accept right click press. Even I tried to download by pressing directly "click me" button and it took me another page with black side border where video plays for 2 seconds only and from there as I do save as link it saved as a HTML page. Any solution?

What if the zoom link is a pop up window which does not allow right click? I can use F12 to edit the code, but not able to right click "click me" and download.

Not working as of 3rd July 2021 with Inspect Element. Zoom has patched the link. Says access denied.
Update: Tried "Save as" feature with Firefox and it worked. SUCCESS!!!
