      Steve Moore more like a players attitude. he's learning the lesson Collin cap is learning . you can get away with all kinds of stuff when you produce at a high level but as soon as your production doesn't outweigh the baggage your done. If you remember TO was the best wr for a while but as soon as it was clear that he was not that elite wr anymore his career was done.

    Rondo is a situational player. He is great on a team where he can be the ball dominant PG. If a team wants him, they need to know how to coach him. Coaches need to accept who he is. Rondo is having trouble but he is still my favorite player.

  • @Alienay8ed
    @Alienay8ed 7 лет назад +301

    Okay, I'm tired of hearing the same bull over and over. Rondo can't shoot. Firstly he can shoot and chooses not to because he prefers to facilitate and command the team like a true PG not just a ball hog that thinks they can take on the whole team. Rondo can't shoot? Lets compare him to the previous bulls PG Rose that could. Last season Rose was .427 from the field and .293 from behind the arc, 4.7 APG. In the meantime Rondo was .454 FG%, a career high .365 behind the arc and 11.7 APG. So who's the better shooter and PG now? Obviously Rondo has some attitude problems and he isn't that 1on1 pseudo shooting guard point guard that seems to be the current evolution of a point guard but just because he chooses to shoot less and drop assists doesn't mean he can't shoot. From the stats he still shines across as all-star material in my view and I think it's unfair he's getting benched. Maybe rather than benching him they should hire a mental/attitude coach and help him with that aspect and then maybe we'll see Rondo in a completely season high at the Bulls but I don't see that happening. Everyone is blinded by the same rhetoric and bs that Rondo this Rondo that.

      Alienated Pull up his FT% over the years. He was below 40% like a year or 2 ago. Nobody that can SHOOT is capable of being that bad. Blake Griffin has 5 seasons shooting 65%+ from FT while Rondo has zero and he's suppose to be a PG. He's probably the worst FT shooting guard in history but yea he can shoot lol.

  • @jameswarner300
    @jameswarner300 7 лет назад +16

    I think this video was done all wrong about Rajon Rondo. I'm a communications major, so I'll summarize Rondo and his NBA career. Starting with Boston. The situation in Boston was not all his fault, in that Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett were basically washed up, and Ray Allen had obviously lost a step, and was not in the right place at the right time in the offense. As for Dallas, Rick Carlisle is a TERRIBLE coach to play for despite his one championship ring. Politics worked against Rondo in Dallas, giving Carlisle a free pass on a terrible coaching job.(worth noting), Dirk Nowitski said he never played with a player as smart as Rondo, also adding that Rondo knew the plays better than he. The Sacramento situation statistically was great for Rondo, as even George Karl admitted he needed to take a step back and allow Rondo to run the team. Rondo was NOT the problem in Sacramento, it was Demarcus Cousins. Leaving us with the Chicago Bulls, another terribly coached team. Dwayne Wade admitted, playing with Rondo he knew the team was in good hands, and that he knew how to put players in the right spot in the offense. Chicago went up 2-0 in the first round of the NBA playoffs with Rondo running the show, as Isiah Thomas had absolutely no answer for Rondo. Rondo gets hurt, and the Bulls never won another game in the series. This video was produced totally wrong about Rajon Rondo, as it actually looks like its produced by WHITE media its so falsely spoken.

    • @Alienay8ed
      @Alienay8ed 7 лет назад +2

      Thing is, most of the Bulls starters support Rondo. Taj Gibson, Dwayne Wade and Butler all want Rondo. They obviously know who's a good PG and enjoy playing with something as good as Rondo but the coaching staff has made a mistake. They thought they could get good Wins and they did for a little bit but then the PGs couldn't even control the ball so they had to get Rondo outof his naughty corner and start commanding the floor again. I guess that's what they paid for, pretty ridiculous situation is you don't mind me saying.

      It's not that Doc could control Rondo, it's that Doc had KG, The Truth, and Ray Allen to do his talking for him. I can remember tons of times when one, two or three of those guys would have words (sometimes heated) with Rondo, but Rondo was always oblivious to it. Everything in this video is a confirmation of what I have felt about Rondo even way back in 2008 when the Cs won it all. Rajon Rondo is a selfish "Look what I did" lack of hustle piece of shit. RR had the chance to stamp his name on the NBA, become a HOFer, instead he will fizzle out and fade away. I'm just so happy the Celtics traded him before everyone else found out what a steaming pile he is.

Maybe you missed all the BS caused by Rondo, but I didn't. Just for fun I rewatched the highlights of the last game the Celtics played against the Bulls. The problem is that Rajon never was a superstar in his career, barely top 2-3 PG in 2009-2012 period. People think that he was extremly good, but he just had great teammates. Since big three was gone, Rondo never was the same, he showed that he couldnt be leader of the team, and the only good move for Ainge was to trade him away and take some assets.

    Here’s what happened. Rondo was never as good as people thought he was. He couldn't rely on 3 All Time greats anymore that's what happened to him. His NBA success is tied to them. Thanks to the big 3 being in Boston because nobody would've ever known Rondo if not for them.

      King Capital They also lost 50 games in the process and they sent him packing after 1 year. They obviously didn't value his assist very much. Sacramento will have the same record or better this year without him on the team, and they pretty much have the same roster as last year. His style only worked when he played with 3 All Time greats.

    Rondo is STILL a good starting point guard. He just needs to find a team which fits his skills, which is clearly not in Chicago alongside two non-shooters Wade & Butler. Here's a 3-team trade thay may benefit all parties:
    1. MIN gets Rondo (He'll play under Thibs which is an asst for Doc's Celtics teams and with young stars KAT & Wiggins who need veteran leadership)
    2. DET gets Rubio (The Pistons need a true playmaker to set up their offense and give Drummond easy baskets)
    3. CHI gets Jackson (Reggie Jackson would fit the Bulls offense better because he can play off & on ball and will have the best shooting among their point guards)
    Draft picks or few players may be added in each side to balance out the trade.

      KiddKlutch3420 Never said he wasnt great. I just dont think you can be on the same level as CP3 Nash, Parker without some kind of consistent offense outside of passing. People constantly get on guys like Dwight Howard for not being great offensively and not hitting free throws, yet call Rondo the best for not doing the same. He does need a coach like Pop who wont stand for his lack of respect for authority and selfish attitude.

    The coaches and management will black ball you regardless of your talent if they don't like you and spread rumors about you to other teams and management to make it harder for you to get another team or make it, it's very true, you can go back and look before Rondo... They black balled Allen Iverson, Steve Francis, and even black balled Stephon Marbury even though he wasn't seeing eye to with management in New York... the nba is a business trust that 90 percent business 10 percent talent... same rules apply in show business, these teams make money even if they lose... Rajon Rondo is still a top tier point guard lead the league in assist last year just last year 2015 - 2016 season, are you are kidding yourself if he's not better than more than half of these point guards in the league, but yet and still they black ball him, it's a joke the league is lol... No excuse for this, that man is a competitor, but this is also a business, so if you don't play along or by their rules, they will make it hard for you to succeed let alone have a job with a team...

    I think Rondo can only blame himself. He can't shoot, doesn't do what coaches asking him, but most importantly he doesn't gives effort on defence and hustle anymore. Who the hell would want him? Maybe he thinks his passing and basketball IQ alone are making him good player and most teams should want him, but if he can't adjust to todays NBA style, or at least find how he can be valuable to his team, then maybe his basketball IQ isn't so great.

    Rondo is done as a starter or maybe totally in this league due to his attitude. In the past you could just put shooters around him and he would defend and drive at an elite level, so coaches would put up with his attitude. But now he is no longer the same player athletically. He is a guard who can't shoot or stretch the floor, and he is a ball stopper since he holds the ball for too long in possessions, and he can't defend or drive at an elite level like he used to. Who has use for that? especially considering Rondo will not be happy coming off the bench.

    He started struggling after that playoff series with Orlando. Stan Van Gundy figured out that he was a horrible shooter, so he told Nelson to step back a few feet and let he soot uncontested shots. The goal was to simply keep him from penetrating, which was his strength. Let him shoot. And it worked. Then Kobe Bryant did that very thing to him in the Finals that year. He stepped away and allowed the shot. Kobe simply prevented the penetration and blocked the passing lanes. It neutralized Rondo and allowed LA to come back from a 3-2 deficit. The next year, Miami employed the same tactic. D-Wade essentially step away from him allowing him to shoot and like Kobe, just prevent penetration and the passing.
