Omg I listen to your videos faithfully EVERY SINGLE night to sleep. I had a good dream for once. I dreamt i met you. You were the nicest and most beautiful woman on the planet ❤️ Thank you for your free services....
It’s taken me ten years to be able to listen to a male’s voice in meditation. There was an interesting NY Times article where the writer proclaimed she did not want a man telling her what to do as she went to sleep! 😀 I get it and am so happy that my recordings work for you! Sweet dreams!
@@MichellesSanctuary exactly. Why would I want a male voice in my ear....ever?....but especially when trying to relax/sleep? No thanks. They dominate too much of the "waking world" they are definitely not wanted in my dreams, where I go to relax!
Thank you, so much Sheena! I really am glad they have helped and look forward to having some new videos up soon. Wishing you many more nights ahead of sweet dreams!
I cannot sleep without one of these videos playing and I get really anxious when I can't hear your voice over my box fan, I low key wish these videos could be a tad bit louder
Michelle, yes I love your videos and will often comment on the subject matter. I wasn’t really aware of lucid dreaming until quite recently. Of course myriad dreams over a persons lifetime will surely result in the odd lucid dream. I’ve tried to dream of certain people, occasionally successfully. A young friend assures me she can lucid dream at will. But what exactly determines a persons dream experience on any random night? Some reasonably straight forward, others a tangled mess, or so calm and ethereal that when you awake it’s the real world, and you try so hard to return to that perfect world. Alas, it’s disappeared forever. I’ll frequently let your videos play all night until dawns early light. Do they influence my dreams? Your voice must register in my brain when I am asleep.
When you pause for a few minutes I wake up. When you go from speaking to just background music I wake up. I’m trying to find a video where you don’t stop at all
You know, I used to have this happen to me all the time-- most creators take even longer pauses and I would get startled. But I find I've adjusted to this over time. I don't know what meditations have different pacing in my collection but hopefully you find some that don't do this.
@@MichellesSanctuary I listened to your 3 hour stories it helped. Otherwise I wake up about every 40 minutes when you go to quiet. Maybe try to make one like that? Another nostalgic 80s one!
Someone finally needs to do a sleep meditation for people who DONT have a hard time falling asleep. I fall asleep easily so these ones are frustrating they don’t help me because I just fall asleep at the beginning and it’s extremely frustratinf
I'll keep this in mind... if you are trying to lucid dream, sometimes it's helpful to incorporate an alarm (not something loud, maybe a vibration) that will just bring you enough to consciousness that you don't go entirely asleep.
Thank you for the reply. I feel bad, I wasn't in a good head space that night. I had tried to do some sleep meditations, but because I fall asleep so easily, what happens is I keep falling asleep and waking up while listening. Especially if the speaker pauses- I will fall asleep during the pause, then wake up when they speak again. Over and over. It made me frustrated as I was trying to get the benefits of a sleep meditation. But I understand that the majority of people are looking for something soothing to HELP them fall asleep. My situation is more rare.
First time listening to you and WOW. It’s literally like you are a close friend of mine cuz #1: The dream markers, spot on. Clocks (digital) in my dreams I can’t make out any real numbers. Another one some times I’ll look at my hand, but won’t see an arm/hand in front on me. Another one I try to remember is to bite my tongue, not hard but enough that if I don’t feel myself biting down I know I’m in a dream. #2 Definitely was able to lucid dream or manipulate my dreams when I was younger but trying to get it back, but better. One more thing I realize with myself though is different positions of sleep; I sleep normally on my stomach, but I’ve been able to induce lucid dreams by just flipping to my back but most of those times I put myself into sleep paralysis which sometimes isn’t too fun and unable to control it, especially if I’m warmer than normal. And just something random: was being attacked by a “bad guy” asked out loud for a weapon and a sword appeared in my hands. (Sorry for the long comment; I just love this stuff)
Hi Michelle, I hope your doing really good! I'm going to Chicago tomorrow and enrolling in school for Audio Engineering... Etc... any way I was under some stress and needed to relax so I put on this video... Thx Heart Jeremy Faulkner... #JackRandomAnomaly thx... :)
Oh sure... some day I want to record something with your beautiful voice on it and put it on an album even if it's self released... But I like ur voice a lot and like to listen to it every day, providing I have the time and sometimes over and over while I'm sleeping. It's like a brain massage for my mind... And I would like to share with you about audio recording... right now I don't know that much and have to start working on video editing... so I can make awesome healing You Tube videos like you do... you have helped me sleep and meditate and find a calm space to work on good things when dealing with frustrations, anxiety, bi-polar and schizophrenia... ur cool! I think ur special! Have a great time Jeremy Faulkner... #JackRandomAnomaly
I'll have to try this - my dreams can be totally nuts sometimes. The last one I remember I was at a halloween party in a dusty cave like from the beginning of Indiana Jones Raiders of the lost Ark with a drunk Arnold Schwarzenegger painted green as the Incredible Hulk (but with long hair) who couldn't string two sentances together and was just laughing all the time and being a clumsy oaf LOL.
I am usually aware when I am in a dream, and I struggle to wake myself up. Any suggestions on how to do that? I tried looking in the mirror that doesn’t work.
Michelle, do you have any other tips to help me lucid dream because I can't seem to lucid dream. I do have occasional dreams, but not intentional. I wouldnappresiate it if you could help me!
Sometimes I think having an alarm that is on vibrate can help if it just slightly awakens you if your problem is that you fall asleep. Sometimes the time of day you attempt it is helpful. I’ve always had success in the afternoons and with the window slightly open because I was able to stay just aware enough to lucid dream. Sometimes it just takes time and practice and then one day it suddenly happens. Anyone else have advice?
I've only recently found out that lucid dreaming isn't the norm. My whole life, every single night, I've been able to change outcomes and become self aware in my sleep. I'm tired though. I dont want to always have such insanely realistic vivid dreams. Sometimes it can blur the line of reality and not reality. I dont dream of unrealistic things like flying or getting superpowers. Just day to day things. I want to take a break from my dreams, I'm at the point where I'm scared to dream now. Is there any way possible to have some sort of opposite meditation, to purposely not lucid dream, and is it possible to just not dream at all?
Omg I've been like that since I was a kid. I thought everyone could lucid dream. Sometimes I'm so completely aware that I'm in a dream, I feel stuck there in real time.
This video has commercials....LOUD abrupt commercials. Tried using this.like I have with other sleep videos, but there were many commercials. One commercial is not conducive for trying to sleep or meditation. But mutiple?? I was so close to relax/sleep. ..BAMMMM loud commercial. I have hardcore insomnia,so if I'm on the brink of sleep and get woken by something so unexpected and so unnecessary. .....I'm angry because now I won't be able to sleep until possibly the next night. I missed my window. Come on.....get rid of the Comercials!..absolutely ridiculous.
This is absolutely not supposed to happen. I have been told before that RUclips has made mistakes and blasted commercials without any authorization from me. My settings are supposed to ensure this never happens. I am so sorry for what must have been an unpleasant experience. If you’d like the mp3 of this recording, email me atmichellessanctuary@gmail.com. I promise there are no commercials in it!
Gale Miller this woman is sorry this hasn’t helped and hopes you find something that does! Going nuts before bed is not my intention for listeners when I create these. This is more for specific lucid dreaming than it is for insomnia.
I dislike the whiney, helpless, needy, meet my husband at the door with his slippers, cigar and martini, pot roast in the oven, honey dripping all over my mouth voice. Lol
I miss the idea of having a husband worthy of this. And no cigars in the house and I don’t do pot roast. But otherwise- great comment. I’ll make a more masculine version for you.
