I really enjoy summer, if it's not crazy hot. I have thrifted so many baskets this past year, but I love how organized things are now. I have a small apartment and I have to be choosey with what I bring home too.
I really liked your finds and the tray came out so cute! You did so good with the baskets! As far as Easter and rabbits like you said Easter is about Jesus and Resurrection. The rabbits come from the pagan festival Eostre goddess of fertility also rabbits and springtime are connected. I'm hoping you do a video on plants and candle making I think that woukd be fun. For your daughter's craft corner I have seen people use picnic baskets to store supplies since the basket has a top some even put lil cute items on top so it's a dual purpose for decor and storage.
I add bunnies in for spring and summer ... in my house we never celebrated the "Easter bunny" in the same way we never celebrated "Santa Claus." Christmas and Easter were and are about Jesus (in my childhood, and my life now as a mother,) but I have no conviction about sprinkling bunnies here and there as a nod to spring and rebirth of the seasons. =) I have little bunnies tucked away everywhere, as well as pretty decorative eggs ... and it's not about taking away from Jesus, it's because we have bunnies, chicks and eggs in springtime! =)

Hi I’m newly subscribed but I wanted to comment about the bunnies. I do not celebrate any of the holidays. I only enjoy what is celebrated in the Bible, however I love Spring so much and I will put up some decor for the seasons. I love bunnies too and instead of using ones that are Easter related I prefer to decorate with the bunnies that are used for year round decor so they become a part of my everyday enjoyment. There is another wonderful channel I recently subscribed to and she decorates with beautiful bunnies, birds, horses, ducks and frogs amongst her indoor plants and outdoor garden and elsewhere around her home. I find that way of decorating so refreshing and enjoyable all year long. P.S. your decor and style is beautiful and inspiring! I absolutely love all your plants and can totally understand why it is hard for you to use fake blooms.

The baskets of love you created were so nice and no bunnies, like other stuff we do as Christians, are not a part of Resurrection. They are really for Spring but they get included in this time without knowledge ❤😊

I would ask for a manager. I always talk about the bunny as being a part spring, renewal and rebirth as part of teaching about the resurection.

My favorite thing to thrift is containers & I mean ANY container just today it was a basket, a plastic tub, a wooden box & an awesome pottery canister… it’s a problem container addict 😅
I have had that happen to me with the prices. I think legally they are supposed to sell as priced. I think they in fact not raise the price. Some of the employees. Act like thrift shops are their own sales. The thrift shops get a lot of items from regular stores or overstocked manufacturers. I wouldn't be surprised if that crystal mug with ruby top isn't from a set. Some things get separated and the employees look out for themselves or friends. I bought a beautiful set of bone China sandwich plates and some how I left them on the counter. Fortunately I live close.so went back. Those plates were gone. I think the cashier put them back for herself. On the other hand. Put some thing down and it is gone. She did give me a refund. Just make sure I check all my items I purchase. Now we have to take our own bags or pay for goodwill bags.
I would say I dont want it, at my Goodwill we have stickers that isnt right for the cashier to raise the price. You have good taste on your thrifting items.
