    Thank you for the preview! I’m so tempted to pull the trigger on this!
    Someone, please talk me out of it!!! Or maybe not?
    But the price tag scares the crap out of me… I know the general rule on crypto investing - it’s all about how much you can afford to lose - and I guess the same goes for the mining setup investment, or does it? My current mining setup will pay for itself in about 5-6 months based on the current prices and I’ve only invested about $2K (using 2 GPUs, goldshell and waiting on Bobcat).
    Antminer L7 seems like a whole new level… Am I ready to up my game???
    How about some pros and cons from more experienced miners?

      Looks like we’re in the same boat my friend. I went and got a personal loan to get one but now I’m starring at the checkout page like: “will they really ship me one or are they going to hold on to me money for two months then send it back with an email saying ‘sorry we ran out of L7’s, here’s your money back.’”, or I don’t know. I too would like to hear from people that have dealt with bitmain recently.

      Since you won’t know if you’re actually getting it till December, you have no credit card recourse action if they decide to just run with your money. November, really December, is just too far out

    You said it’s about 1/2 of a 30 amp plug. I will be running 2 of these. Can I run 2 L7s on 1 30 amp plug? If you were setting up a breaker and plugs what would you do? (70 amp breaker with 2 30 amp plugs… or would one 50 amp breaker with one 30 amp plug)…???

    How long do you think it will take for us to get the first rounds of orders? A week or two? As in, once these release, how long do you think it will take before we have them in hand?

    is it possible to wait and then buy or will it be more expensive when the price stay?

    • @notyournormalminer
      @notyournormalminer  3 года назад

      there is most times a 2nd and third batch
      cost depends on how the markets are
      each batch released looses profitably by the time it comes on line if that makes sense

    Hey, I am interesting in order Antminer L7. But I can't contact Bitmain Company, Do you have any suggestion to teach me how to purchase it?

    • @notyournormalminer
      @notyournormalminer  3 года назад

      yike... buying new ASIC is about as sketchy as it gets. you will always have to pay upfront and it will take weeks to months for you to get your ASIC. i don't know if a how to buy ASIC is in the mix at the moment.
      thanks for the comment and checking this out

    I want to buy it on Alibaba, but because it's a pre-order for a miner that's not yet released, the supplier says they can't use trade assurance because they need the money now to pay the manufacturer. Is that normal? It is a verified supplier, and more than 6 years on Alibaba...

    • @notyournormalminer
      @notyournormalminer  3 года назад

      use caution.... most always ask for crypto upfront..... that is the industry standard. does not make it right. use caution

    How sure are we that they are already mining with these? Do we anticipate network hashrate to continue to rise prior to November? Or is it the opposite- that China shutting down farms is taking some of these off the network, which could account for the recent hashrate drop?
    Could the reason they decided to start selling them now be connected to the China mining ban?

    • @notyournormalminer
      @notyournormalminer  3 года назад +1

      pretty sure they are mining on them already.
      them selling these has nothing to do with the China ban IMO

    They have been mining with these units for about a year. that is why hashrate dropped off. maybe finally they will develop and let us purchase right after development.
