As a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, I have to correct a couple things, because people from other states automatically don't want to come here because of these biases. It typically only snows from November 15 to April 1 on average. But, our "awesome summmer" (it is, best summer in the U.S.) is from Memorial day to September 15. Also the newer waterpark resorts are mostly indoors, so you can play year round. Kalahari, The Wilderness, The Great Wolf Lodge and at least one more who I can picture, but forgot the name are predominantly indoors. Mt. Olympus is 50/50, so it's still open in the winter. Noah's Ark and Family Land are exclusively outdoors so I think they're only open like May 15 to September 30.

The only question I have about Wisconsin, is, if I'm in Milwaukee downtown, what the chances for an electric car be stolen, while in charging, or parking?

@@rafas3893 I guess it depends on what part of "downtown" MKE you're in...? I wouldn't be too nervous, but I also wouldn't park that bad boi on the street - MKE is a city, cars are stolen in every city...

As far as someone stealing parked cars, now a key with a computer chip is needed to start most cars, so cars would have to be stolen by car jacking, not stolen unattended from a parking spot.

But...In saying "Wisconsin doesn't have any big attractions".....what state DOES? Go to Arizona...and look at the Grand Canyon? Hey..after 5 minutes you say: "Let's go HOME!". Alright, Florida...Disney World! OK. But you can spend several days at the Dells, too, and have just as much fun, at MUCH less cost! And I've been to Cape Cod. They say: "Door County is the Cape Cod of the Middle West". I say: "Cape Code is the Door County of the East Coast". (And I'm FROM Chicago! I liken Wisconsin to a kind of: "Europe in America". The state had TONS of immigrants from Norway, Sweden, Ireland and Germany. Their European culture is STILL part of the state. Drive through any small town. The streets are clean. The houses are all painted. The lawns are ALWAYS well kept. People take pride in what they have...and show it! Drive down the most remote road in Wisconsin, a road NO ONE ever takes, and you'll come across homes that look like they're prepared for a photo shoot for Better Homes and Gardens. Amazing!

You can travel to Chicago or the twin cities to mall of America and you're close to the great lakes, and there's lots of stuff to do year round there is variety and it's one of the few places that is a climate safe haven, besides cold and heavy snowfall it doesn't have bad natural disasters, isn't in tornado alley (I live in NE and we rarely get tornadoes, that's more common in KS or MO and OK) it doesn't have poisonous snakes or bugs, earthquakes, mudslides, tsunamis, hurricanes, droughts, sandstorm, sink holes, isn't prone to flooding and doesn't have to worry about volcanic eruptions. It gets enough rain and snow for all the "boring farmland" has trees and beautiful scenery, is safe crime wise especially in small towns and its relatively affordable. Very much considering moving to Wisconsin, I'm originally from upstate NY, so I'm used to harsh winters and now live in NE with my husband.

Fun fact: Wisconsin Is the only state to be born out of spite. The Wisconsin territory was including about half of northern Minnesota, a bit of northern Illinois, and lastly, the peninsula that Michigan has now.
Illinois firstly takes some land, Wisconsin territory is not that affected. Then there was a “war” between Michigan and Ohio. There was a city on the borderline that they battle over. The battle ended with Ohio winning, leading to “compensation” in the addition of what would be 20% of Wisconsin’s modern territory. This pissed a lot of people off but not to enough extent. Then Minnesota took the land to the north. Wisconsin is pissed at this point and upon hearing that Michigan wanted to expand all along the coastline to Lake Michigan, cutting off all Wisconsin access to the lake, they decided to sign into being an official state to protect our land. We’re fine with everyone now but our relationship with Michigan is odd. It’s like flipping someone off and fist bumping immediately after.

It's not "mostly winter" in Wisconsin. It lasts around 4-5 months- middle November thru late March. I've lived here my whole life. I hate cold and snow, that's a huge negative. Wisconsin is not "God's country", it's just another state with a lot of odd and often obese people with weird/grating accents. The average high temperatures in Wisconsin in the summer are not between "70 and 80" degrees. It's in the low 80's. I don't mind Illinois, Chicago is an awesome city. I'm glad I'm within 90 miles of Chi-town... that's a plus to living in Wisconsin.

@@FTAMT Sorry to be a debbie downer. This is the first time I've ever seen one of your videos. I just hate stereotypes of Wisconsin. For example, I don't eat bratwursts and drink beer for breakfast. I haven't had a brat in over a decade and I'm not much of a drinker. Life is too short to waste it away with excessive drinking. illannoys drivers may be bad, but holly sh!t oinksconsin drivers are waaayyyy worse. From living about equal amount of many years in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison, Wisconsin drivers make me wanna move back, and Wisconsin 'cities' just as well since the walkability (chance of avoiding bad drivers) is minimal. And what's up with the multiple DUI/DWIs in the news all the time? If it was just 2-3 per person, but it's way more. Sconsin'd be ok, if it weren't for its people. (But that goes for most places)

So much BS I didn’t make it to the end. You don’t have to exaggerate in order to make it interesting. It isn’t all winter, snow, cheese, and drunks. It’s never been 50 below. People can look up the records for themselves. You do seem to have something of a schizophrenic attitude with all of the afore-mentioned negatives then too it is God’s Country. This might amuse some people who live here but anyone considering a move or an extended visit will be totally confused.
