Right, the price went up right after I did this video. Cheers
Bike itself is now $2k. 😞
Hello, yes Velotric announced an across the board price increase to offset the new Chinese tariff. All ebikes made out side the US. (and most made in the US because they use parts made in China) have just announced price increases. There are several people who watched this video when it first came out and jumped on the $1529 purchase with the discount code I provided. Not sure what kind of discount codes are available today but you will certainly pay a few hundred more than I did. Cheers
@lifebehindbarz60 I'm thinking of just getting fast light hard tail my money go a lot further, and not have to worry bout replacing $500 battery, and just stuff going wrong got bad luck, everything falls to shit, kinda want a gravel bike again but those my bike trails are so nice here and it's been year's hence a good light hard tail maybe over a gravel bike. In Michigan. Sure wish I could test drive this beast. Damn you got a good deal on that fork wow and 2.5 lbs lighter, love it.
@@ShouldaWaved Hello, if you are younger and still able to ride a non-assisted bike then a good used hardtail mtn bike is the way to go. You can use the money you save to put toward nice weekend trips to good trails and scenic areas. Now I ride these off road ebikes because I'm in my mid 60's and have just gotten so slow on a regular bike that it isn't much fun. The ebikes have brought the fun back into biking for me. Thanks for watching!

@@ridepastu1418 Are u saying that Velotrek is launching new models soon? I just wrote the company and they said they're not, at least not for the Summit.
