Instant gratification is an enemy of progress. It's so important to learn and to all find ways to gratify our desires that are not quick fixes. Thanks for sharing this.

Thank you for your videos. Very helpful and most importantly, nuanced. And thank you for providing a personal and complex perspective for such an insidious disease.
I am an alcoholic. Daily alcoholic. My questions are:
    1. What did you and/or what do most people “feel like” when drinking alcohol on the drug (when administering the properly)? Is it like drinking a non-alcoholic drink? Or drinking when you are very full on food? Obviously, I don’t generally eat when I drink (that comes at the end of the night when I am about to pass out).
    2. Would missing a proper application (e.g. not taking the medication altogether or not taking it timely) tend to re-set the efforts and gains made? I do not trust myself.
I know there are no easy answers to the above questions but any insight would be appreciated, because the “cold turkey” method is not working.

Nice to meet you! Great questions. 1) everyone feels a little different on this method. A lot of people experience an "off switch" of sorts where they just lose interest in drinking after one or two (after a little while on the method). People can still get buzzed/drunk and still enjoy drinking on this method...but it just can feel less "euphoric" or some have said like there's no "Christmas lights" going off in their head. One example I use a lot is you might go out for a desert and get a piece of pie. You will enjoy the pie, and be glad you had it, but you're not going to eat the entire pie. The same thing happens the longer someone is on TSM...one drink (or a couple) is nice...but the interest to keep drinking isn't there. 2) And 100% correct, this protocol needs to be followed consistently 100% of the time for success. It does cause people to go backwards if they don't do it correctly. Hope that helps!
