Insane, not just the song but the video. Absolutely beautiful. Whoever edited this is a master of the craft. Favorites, girl with the tear, the jump to black n white and the great storytelling of the defqon weekend sefa had.
All the video is amazing, but bro...That transition at 2:35 is one of the most fuckin' sick transition that i ever seen in a videoclip.Totally mindblowing. 🤯🤯🤯
Massive track, full of incredible energy and good feels! This will be played often and by many! 🌟Also mad props to @abrinked - your videos are so exciting, you have such a vision, taking all this wonderful footage and arranging it so perfectly with the music. I really look forward to your videos, you do Sefa such a great service and let the fans see more than we ever could on our own. Thank you!
Sefa's music is so perfect, to convince others to give this genre a try. Waaaay back in like 2003? or maybe 2004 me and my friend who just grew up on the songs that were on the radio and the new wave of metal music (nu-metal) sprinkled with some Rammstein, Slipknot and System of a Down (which I don't consider nu-metal) just found the wonders of electronic music. Eiffel 65, Gigi D'agostino, DJ Tiësto, Basshunter and so on were now the hot sh*t we just were all about, but one day my friend told me it's all so ... "positive" Every song is just so "dancy" and leaves that sweet taste in his mouth whereas with bands like Slipknot, System of a Down or Linkin Park we got that frustration out of us so we didn't need to "pretend" everything is okay. We've let the bad energy out with all these heavy songs so we set out on a quest to find some electronic music that would make us get rid of bad mood via letting us release it into the space around us and don't bottle it down by a sweet melodies. The first we found were ofc The Prodigy, they were sort of renown among our older brothers and got this "staple" of "Drug use" and "junkies" which sort of made us avoid it at all costs. Later on my brother was playing GTA San Andreas and there is this song I forgot now, but The Prodigy sampled it in the song called "Outter space" which is how we eventually got really into The Prodigy... but still it wasn't exactly IT. Then we've discovered the "Hardstyle" via DJ COONE and his song "The Name Of My DJ" which was exactly what we were searching for. The synth that wasn't exactly catchy nor pleasing, but was there just as the catalyst for releasing that valve that was in charge of storing bad energies in our bodies. We were super crazy about the oldschool hardstyle. We've dipped toes in all those Melbourn Shuffles and Jumpstyles and whatnot, but oldschool hardstyle was just our holy grail. Years later we found out there are people out there, that speed up songs and call it "Nightcore" which was mostly Anime oriented. Everything sounded like it's sang and produced by chipmunks or Japanese schoolgirls and even though we've never really considered is as a "real genre" there was one song in particular that cought our attention and that was a "Remix of Pika Girl by S3RL (nightcore version)" ... to put it simply, it was a faster and heavier remix of the song made into a Nightcore version and when we were listening to it, one of our friends just said "Damn you can just play Franchcore while you're at it" which believe it or not was a sort of joke between the oldschool Tekk people in my country. One of the "classics" were "Scotish Tekno" you can find on youtube. Among many more, people who were into Tekk were carrying the same staple as The Prodigy, all around our country were illegal festivals with this music, so the whole society looked down on 'em and these blokes called Frenchcore "The weak version" of Tekk belive it or not. But that's how we usually find gems, when people tell us something isn't worth listening to. It was about all the metal songs by our parents, about The Prodigy by our older brothers, about Hardstyle by our friends, about Frenchcore by all the Tekk elitists. I can't remember for the love of god, what was the first Frenchcore song that cought our attention, but man we've been fans ever since. Among all the heavy songs ranging from Deathcore, Frenchcore, Schranz or nostalgia Nu-metal, I can really appretiate softer songs, for example my biggest guilty pleasures are already mentioned Basshunter, Cher, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne or Bob Marley. Music doesn't need to be heavy all the time, just like Sefa's music... he might be put into the Frenchcore category, yet his songs are way above one singular nametag. Putting real strings, beautiful vocals, piano and melodies that will send you to another planet beyond our system is just so god damn powerful and I'll never be able to express how much I'm thankful for his music. Anyone wondering why I even bother writing such an essay among hundreds of other comments which will eventually (if not right away) is gonna get burried down into the forgotten realms of the internet? Well, I just love to share my life stories and love to read about others. I might've skipped tons of stuff, but hey... comments on youtube have some character limit so I had to make it "shorter" :^) Have a fine day whoever you are!
