    I actually am thankful that there is someone out there making these kind of videos. This is excellent information to share. I'm a big guy myself and stuff like this really makes planning upcoming vacations easier. Thank you for the information and keep up the great work. Love the videos

    My tips that helped me...avoid sodas a few days before, eat light the meal before you go, and bring a plastic bag to sit on as the seat material tends to grab you and it is hard to slide all the way forward. I'm 5'11", 340lbs, 48-50" pant size. Didn't fit on a Mon, came up with those tips and they worked for me, rode it on Fri.

      I never thought about bringing a bag on with me! I fit but I'm a big girl, I found that I constantly got caught on the seat material, so it was hard to slide all the way forward. That should help for the future! Thank you for the tip!

    Thank you so much for your follow up video. I saw the first one which was helpful as well. Don't listen to haters, because misery loves company and that's all they do is try and bring people down who are doing well for themselves. Congrats on your weight loss!

    Loved the update!
    I'm in a few Disney groups, and it seems that some guests that are really tall also haven't been able to ride. But yes, fluffy/larger sized people are more vocal about the seating which is really understandable seeing as FOP is the big ride in Pandora. I would be upset if I weren't able to ride for one reason or another myself! Hopefully there will be some sort of seating modifications in the future, we'll just have to wait and see.
    Thanks for the video!

    There are a lot of attractions at universal and disney that I can't ride because they are 3d. These will often trigger migraines for me. I know how much it bites to be excited about a ride and then can't ride bc they aren't made inclusive for everyone.

    Thank you for making this video!!! Congratulations on those 15 lbs!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!! That's awesome!!!!! I know myself how difficult it can be! Slow, incremental lifestyle change is how weight loss is maintained. Healthy weight loss is maximum 2 lbs per week, most people who keep the weight off loose 0.5 - 1.5 lbs per week. You are loosing at a healthy, maintainable rate. Loosing lots of weight rapidly or making severe lifestyle (my word for eating habits, foods eaten, excercise habits, etc.) changes usually will gain back what they lost. So glad you are making slow, healthy lifestlye changes!!! Three months is a long time to be maintaining your goal, I hope you keep it going!!!! Sending you positive thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I wish I had seen this video before I went. I waited in line for almost 2 hours and got up to the ride and sat down and the leg restraints wouldn’t click in place. I’m a big guy (280 lbs) but my legs are pretty slim and my calves aren’t that large. They didn’t have the test seats out there and even if they did, I had already waited in line an hour and a half before I got to the area where they would have had it.

    Congratulations on losing those 15 lbs!!! Yay!! I know what it's like to be heavy - I was for many, many years, and it isn't easy. Here's wishing you well and I apologize for all of those who make nasty comments. That's totally uncalled for. -- Re the ride seats: here's hoping Disney makes some changes so it will be more accommodating. - Best wishes!

    Adrian, thanks so much for this informative video. I myself am a fluffy girl and a bit worried about fitting on this ride. I also worry about other members of my family being able to fit. Just from listening to your description of the ride, I wonder if the back restraints are really necessary. I understand the need for safety but this seems extra. What are your thoughts?

    • @ThemeParkExpress
      @ThemeParkExpress  4 года назад +3

      The back restraint is absolutely necessary. In video it may not look like s lot of motion but there’s a lot of up and down motion with this attraction and if the back restraint wasn’t there then guests could be seriously injured if they got out of their seat.

    i have a question about your size. I am also a fluffy guy and was wondering what are your height and waist measurements also belly measurement if you could. If you want to email me that info if your not comfortable please let me know. Thanks

      praiseant I just rode Flight of Passage last week. I’m 6’2” and weigh 335. I have close to a 52” waist, but I also have a 54”chest, so I could be considered big boned. I tried the test seat outside and the attendant said that I “should have no problem “ but was definitely NON committal with his statement. I think they’re trained that way, so don’t do what I almost did which was to not try. I’m so glad I did because it was amazing! Good luck!

    I will be honest with you man. Yes it is true that loosing weight ain't easy for most people but this will motivate people to do so, I mean look what you did. You went to the GYM because of it. Another thing, some people do have special conditions that won't allow them to loose weight and that's okay but the probability of it is minimal. Most people just want to live a fat life, not taking care of themselves but if you truly love yourself, you will take care of yourself. I was a solid 300 pounds and currently I am in 255 and loosing more weight so I am jot judging anyone but everyone like myself. I couldn't fit in most rides at Universal Studios and now I can do all of them. My point is, don't point fingers judging Disney/Universal and expect not to be judged for not taking care of yourself. These companies know what they do and the primary thing for them will always be safety.
