Great coverage. My thoughts are just about the same as yours, as well as my score being a 6/10 for this season. It's alright, but it could've been significantly better. The season itself was fine! It's everything around it... that wasn't entirely properly implemented. Notably, the limits and lackluster side events like Badge Bonanza and KO Overflow. The limits are trash and there's no denying that. The Bogged Down event did not have a limit and it worked PERFECTLY and there were zero problems. Why they backtracked that with Sticky TNT and N.Gin? I have no idea. Yeah, it's cool that the main thing about each event will be at the start of the event pass now, but the problem still exists. It's just not fun to have in a game we paid money for. Also, the little events like the aformentioned two are also pretty meh. They don't really offer skins or things that players WOULD actually go for. It's just completely mild cosmetics, which is, again, ehh.

A friend of mine and me both finished the battle pass rather quickly, like within 2 weeks or so. And almost every event they give you more xp for the battle pass! It probably great for some people who just started playing so they can at least get the stuff they want before the season ends but when i play now i mostly just go up against other lvl 100 players. Majority of the player base seems to have finished the battle pass quickly! I personally think it would be better if they somehow let you take the extra xp rewards, if you already finished the battle pass, and instead turn it into more character xp, since its super slow to level them up from like lvl 10 onwards!

Bogged Down is the closest they have to an outright battle mode with no collectibles or platforming. And a streamlined battle mode seems like such an easy-to-add no-brainer.

I really hope they improve upon what was done with Season 1, because the content felt like it was dripping out 💧 instead of pouring (and that’s not a positive if you couldn’t tell - also, just to clarify, I’m NOT saying they need to have tons and tons and tons of content; just enough that makes sense to “fill” the season and make it feel adequate: just an idea : 2-6 maps, 3-5 characters, 2-5 power-ups??), and probably my least favorite aspect of the season was the BattlePass and time limit on collectibles to unlock things throughout the game.. just a terrible idea imo.. it makes it so difficult for players to unlock things naturally and instead forces them to get on the game (when maybe they can’t or don’t want to) plus makes the experience unenjoyable plus causes people to miss out on things.. it’s a lose-lose situation.. Anyways, now that that’s out of the way, what I did enjoy the most was probably the addition of new maps and characters.. cosmetics were ok (some were only ehh) and I like the banners and music (please add more tunes from original games! 😀).. One thing I don’t understand is why N. Gin doesn’t use rockets 🚀 as an attack.. that would be such a cool thing to implement for the character.. I don’t quite understand why N. Gin is now this music-loving evil guy/musician all of a sudden now.. why not just stick to him being a guy who is an evil scientist who messes with different machinery and tech..?? Idk, his character just seems/feels off to me I guess…

Season 2 is literally the content that should've been from day 1

Yeah, I think the content was good, but the brevity of it was a letdown. I get they can only make so much at once, but the fact Season Two is supposedly gonna be HUGE leaves me wondering why at least some of it didn't make it here so the game at least made a better first impression as an online event. At the very least I think the Season could have used another map wedged in there, two characters and a power up per season seems kinda reasonable, but the game really needs more maps and modes to play them on right now.
As for the event limits, I get why they're there because right now they really can not have people collecting all the stuff in one day and then tuning out, though I do think they could at least be more leniant with it. The intended 8 hour counter seems more fair, and most players likely would go through that in multiple days, just with less pressure since it's not FORCED onto them.

My opinions on season 1, As they released:
The Battle-pass: Pretty good, A bit all over the place in terms of theme, Though maybe it's because this is the first one and they want to give everybody some stuff to work with. Hopefully next season's pass will be more focused on a theme.
Ripper Roo: My boi. My sweet, Mad Boi. It's good to see him, And even better to play as him. He's a *hell* of a lot of fun, Acting as a strange but interesting hybrid of a blocker and scorer. Using the cannon to completely drop into a fight that nobody expected you to be a part of always gets a laugh out of me, Though I feel the spamability of his kick doing knock back can make him a pain in the ass to fight on the bank.
Bogged down: I like the map, But *F&@K* the event was ass. The fact that 2 of the rewards were locked behind items that only spawned on the new map isn't *bad* per say. But not having the option to only play on that map in order to grind out the challenges was bulls&@t.
TNT Crate: A hilarious new item to use, Tossing between you an one other player brings that one scene from Lilo & Stitch to mind, Always gets a laugh out of me.
N.Gin: An alright character, Sets an interesting precedent for characters more focused on flying just above the fight and dropping support down. I'm excited to see characters with more verticality in their movesets.

Had finished watching your vid, hop on and get put in a match with someone with the same name. XD, I was Coco and the other person was N-gin. No idea if it was really you, but was fun none the less. I'm looking forward to this new season, I'm eagerly waiting the Spyro stuff! And super excited!

Eventually yes I’m with you but I feel like tiny and crunch would be a better start for season 2.. but then again if you got the deluxe edition I expect season 2 to be iconic

@@phenomnaman5401 Tiny and Crunch will definitely be coming sooner or later, but Spyro & his friends would have more incentive for multiple gamers to buy the game; especially for Spyro fans.
Personally, I've been playing Crash Team Rumble since release, but I'm trying to help strategically so that more people buy the game.

Xp Events based on (Badges), (KOs) and (Zap Trap) those were fun. it would be good if they stayed instead of limited time. Hero events are limited to 24hrs. Lost Marbles (Ripper Roo) event glitched so you get the 6 marbles but you could keep picking them up. N.Gin and Sticky TnT were the easy to unlock as they were first. Everything else in the event passes are bonuses. Not everybody unlocks it all. Weekly Expidentions are a good way for Xp also. I would give it a Solid 6.5 and hope they increase the Hero Level cap from 15 levels to more with more rewards

Hello, do you play live on any platform? It would be fun to play with you and against you at some point.
