Great job as usual, many helpful ideas. The best one for me was gluing the caps into the business card holder. My 3 yr old grandson is always losing the caps, grandma’s rules say no lid, marker goes in trash. Then, grandma buys more so the cycle can repeat. Your hack will save me money. You are amazing with your creativity! 🤗
Love your ideas! Thank you so much! On the ribbon caddy in the bin w/holes - i put a bull nose clip on both ends of the dowel rod. Its big enough to not go through the hole and it keeps the rod from migrating inside the bin and dumping the ribbon off! Just leave a bit of space for it to still spin. Hope this helps 😊
Here' another dollar tree hack....the clear shower curtains are great under a cloth table covering to protect a wood table and great as a drop cloth for any painting project. They can be thrown in the washer too. No dryer of course. They can also be cut down for any craft project that needs clear plastic.
Hey Whitney! I'm "new" with your videos & live in central Oklahoma. I enjoy your ideas & handmade crafts! You're a busy, talented Mom! GOD Bless You!! 🤗🌻
Genius! Even though my youngest is now 2 year college student and we no longer need to worry about her misplacing marker lids. Or having to worry about the dogs chewing the caps up if she happened to drop those on the ground also. But I will be writing this brilliant idea down in my "I am a FUTURE Gma!" notebook. If I come across anything that I wish I would have known when my girls were 3,4,5-11,12ish, I also have some family and friends that would benefit from this so i am going to go get the needed items to make these and bring them to her tomorrow.
I love the the idea of glueing the marker lids in the holder! So many markers have been tossed due to drying out from lost lids. 😢 That is a game changer! It's amazing to me how those lids can disappear, it's like losing a sock in the dryer where do they go 🤷 I love your creative ideas!
Oh I am so glad you are back, I missed you last week but totally understand. Your little is getting big! My baby is 36 and having a baby of his own in a couple months. So cherish every moment they go by to fast. Hope Finn had a great week at preschool. Looking forward to fridays video, mystery box is my absolute favorite. ❤
If I had to pick a favorite spot- it would be seeing Finn ham it up. What a cutie! But as far as crafting... it would never have occurred to me to switch the leaves out. How smart!
😂 right?! He needs no coaching. I just say, hey can I get some footage of you on the bed and I just follow him around lol I only ask for that every once in a while so he humors me lol
Hi Whitney! I’m a dollar tree junkie. I would have said that I know every inch of the 4 locations I frequent the most. I would have been wrong. You showed me a few things I didn’t know existed. Kudos to you. Your videos always have a fun and friendly vibe. Totally wow on the free printables. I never click on over to grab printables but that one on the clipboard called to me. I expected to find the 2 shown in the video. I’m blown away. Different size options ☑️ printable I was looking for ☑️ 23 or 24 more fall printables and every single one with a professional look to them, ☑️. I am in awe of your talent and generosity. Wow and thank you.
My favorite was the nail polish remover bottle hack for paint. Genius! And thx for the idea of using the Barbie clear bag for other things. I love this. It's clear and the perfect size for so many things. Great ideas.
Thanks for sharing all the hacks! And that Finn is just so adorable! He is liable to get spotted by a Hollywood producer and end up on the big screen! Have a great week.
I know it's not a DT item, but even better than their small kraft paper rolls, if you do a lot of painting or messy crafts, is moving or packing paper. I got a huge roll of heavy kraft paper for around $10 about 4 years ago that I'm still using. I don't remember how may yards/meters it was, but it's still almost 4" diameter with a 1" core. I think I got it at either Office Depot or Home Depot.
Tip When you're rubber gloves are used up, don't just toss them out... You can cut them up! The long arm parts make great large rubber bands, and the fingers can also be cut and used as finger protection while crafting! No need to purchase them 😁
I use the pink and green facial scrubbers you showed to condition new stamps and clean them. I just spritz them with water and the silicone doesn't damage the stamps.
Ohmygosh, I am thrilled that you can vinyl canvas. I think it works so well with holiday & everyday decor. The pics for the kiddos are great. I would do some of the great sayings you have diyed. All the hacks are great, Whitney.
Congratulations to Finn!🎉 I'm glad he had a great 1st week @ pre-school!😊 That kid's matress is neat. Both sides for different ages? I've never heard of that! So neat!😊 Great idea for the canvases! Great hack for the markers, too, Whitney! I love it!❤😊 I love the free fall printables! Thank you so much!❤ I do the same thing on our stairs, putting several things on the landing that goes upstairs! I love the ribbon hack too, great!❤ I've always loved your hack for switching foral leaves & adding them to a different stem! Awesome!😊 Great hacks as always, Whitney! As always, thank you for sharing all of your hacks with us! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
Time goes by way to fast. I can't believe how much bigger and older Finn & Sebastian look. But still super cute!! You are just full of helpful info and I love it. But man I wish you were my neighbor. You decorate your home so beautifully. I just can't seem to find my grove.
Yes removing the little green leaves made the flowers look really high-end. I also like the adding personal touches to the gift bags. Great ideas as usual. Thanks for sharing!
Anna i have been injoying your videos so much what you said about waiting to get what you really want is true you husband did a great job you guy work so well together i like the idea that you have for your home can't wait to see what you are doing next thankyou for sharing ❤😊
Love this one. I just got a cricut...still havent used it because...well, I'm quite intimidated by it to be honest but I love these ideas enough to get motivated into learning it! Thanks Whit 💖.
GET IT OUT. I left mine in closet for four years, ended up selling it and buying a newer one and now I can’t stop, was amazed how easy I made a shirt in about 30 min from opening the box to the end!
@calaluhn6806 GET IT OUT!! I agree it is intimidating using a Cricut for the first time, [I was 60 when I got mine!] but I typed in the model of my machine [Cricut Explore Air 2] I found great tutorials by Whitney, and others on here, saved them under 'Cricut' and always have them to hand if needed. I also wrote down the instructions I found useful and keep them in a Binder so I can refer to them if using Design Space. Trust me, you wont regret it. Happy Crafting
I totally understand your frustration/intimidation 😢 I have Fibromialgaas and have brain fog most of the time. Which is really frustrating! Although, I have a phenomenal friend that comes and helps me!❤
Love these, I have not seen the bins before, I just added a shelf and would love to add the pops of color to sort papers. I also laughed at the gloves, I have so many pairs and always forget to put them on before painting or doing messy work :D
I would love to see an in-depth screen printing. I had a teacher teach me in high school. Now I forgot how. I was just thinking about that the other day.
I love to combine the brush pads and a paint cup. I put the silicone pad on the side of the paint cups that have lids (they resemble the Melissa Doug cups. I fill it with water and keep it at my workspace to rinse the off as I go. When I’m completely finished I will take them and walk the out similar to how you showed!!
I love your channel! Definitely my go-to channel I think Canva has the option to show a ruler on top & the side. Then when you download & print it shouldn’t need to be resized. Or just screenshot, crop, & print. Then just save to docs as a pdf. Not trying to sound like a know-t-all! Just might save a little time!
You are so right! I like google docs so I can sometimes do multiple per page. I’ve also gotten questions on how to size different things so I wanted to share that hack. But you are totally right too!
Whitney, if they gave out PhD’s in using Cricut, Canva, etc….. You’d get the 1st! You’d be the Dean! lol Your ability and confidence on the Electronic stuff you do is amazing! I have been using your paintbrush cleaning hack for over a year now and absolutely love it! It really cleans the brush and is so simple to use. Thanks for the idea!
I'm definitely going to be getting some of the reusable gloves! The disposable kind don't work for me. I also love how you dyed the wood bead. Thanks so much for sharing your printables with us and for all your awesome hacks and tips.
Awesome hacks. Those finger protectors are too small for my fingers. I though about using the gel nail wraps but was not sure it would work. Now I know.
I use dollar tree vinyl to create stencils when etching glass. It's much cheaper than stencil vinyl. Don't know how well it works on other surfaces because I haven't tried yet.

Removing those little green "fake" leaves is genius.
Thank you! I am usually instantly turned off by those so it's a win win - save money and make them look WAY better :)
Yes, I never even thought of removing them. They look so much better. Such smart ideas. Thank you!
Also can use hot glue to keep flowers (or 🍃 leaves) so they will not keep coming off. I do this with my flowers that I purchase from dollar tree.
With the hanger, cut the bottom piece in ONE place then you can add spools of ribbons, jute, twine, etc and hang them up.
Genius!
Love your ideas! Thank you so much!

I was impressed with the "Screen Printing" techniques/ hacks! I WILL be using this idea for sure!
Wonderful! ✨💜

These hacks are wonderful. Can I talk about Finn, he is so cute! God Bless him.
Thank you for sharing all these amazing hacks. What a difference it makes with the florals just by changing the leaves. Finn is the cutest model.
Totally!
Love the way you improved dollar tree flowers
Thank you!

I pass some of these things at DT and don’t see what you see. Thank you, Whit. You’re my favorite crafter!
Yay I’m so glad! That’s why I love these videos so you can benefit! ♥️
I love the the idea of glueing the marker lids in the holder! So many markers have been tossed due to drying out from lost lids. 😢 That is a game changer!
It's amazing to me how those lids can disappear, it's like losing a sock in the dryer where do they go 🤷
I love your creative ideas!
Totally! It’s so true!! It’s like little marker gremlins take them and then I find them under the couch 😂😂
I use the book bins for storing Tupperware type lids, boxes of Ziploc bags and tinfoil, wax paper etc. Much like you store your vinyl.
Love the idea of creating a color page on a canvas! Definitely doing that for my grandson!!
Have fun! 🥰

The picture frame dry erase board made me think, ""Why didn't I think of that?""...lol. Lots of great ideas.... thank you
I absolutely love those first containers! I've never been able to find them in my dollar trees.
