Silent I have a question on all my trident killers my trident keep falling through blocks when I go near nether portals near them and is there a way to fix this as I kind of need my nether portals as there's no way I'm flying thousands of blocks to go to one of my farms or really appreciate it if you could help

I really like this idea, silent! (Even though I am one of the few people who like phantoms.) I just wanted to note that pillager patrols can still spawn on the spawn platform, so folks shouldn't think they are completely safe there at all times. Keep up the great work! :- )

Hi silent, I absolutely love your vids! They are so helpful I have probably built 4+ in my multiplayer server already. I was wondering if 0-tick farms got re added because there have been videos I have seen advertising 1.20 bedrock 0-tick farms for kelp or sugarcane. Everything says they were permanently removed but these videos imply they work again. Do you know if these types of farms work for bedrock 1.20?
Yep. I use 0-tick kelp and bamboo farms
This is my first phantom farm in my world and I am a survival only player.
I went ahead and forked out the extra blocks and made a decorative square for the platform.
That was the most time consuming 😮
The other tricky part was the signs. I originally made them too low. Got it fixed and I literally have stacks of membranes after only 4-5 Minecraft nights.

I am considering doing the same thing. Did you do the 24 scaffolding that Silent does at the beginning of the tutorial above your witch farm or just build it at whatever height you were already afk at?
Also did you build the full floor and roof or just the kill chamber part?
I want to do it myself but I don’t have the time to do it wrong so any information you can give me about height and relativity to the witch farm would be so awesome of you
I did the 24 scaffolding. Haven't upgraded the witch farm yet.
@@gamingwithpedro9574 I will have to check again but I think I just did the roof and kill chamber as I have allays to pick up the membranes. Since I don't need many membranes I just collect until I'm full and then get what I need from the witch farm below.

Question Silence i already have build your magmacube one. But the roof was not making it work at day it actually made it stop spawning any. So i removed the spruce leaf roof. So my question is if i just make the exact same roof like this on that one. Should that make them spawn while its day?

Before the witch hut change, we were able to make witch + phantom potion farm combo. But now witch is surface mob, so we can't anymore.

One question, if I made the farm you had previously, can I remove the portals and replace the Afk zone with the farm from the tutorial, without also needing to remove the magma blocks?

I am a Thai player following you. I would like to ask if there is something with a higher light level on the circular platform below. Because in my game Monsters spawn in the light level of a glow lichen. What should I use instead? Do you have any recommendations?
In our friend group server mending on elytras are banned and they instantly turn into a random curse (binding or vanishing) so people have to buy membranes. Tho I'm the only one with an elytra so far but the rule is here to stay and when we open end later in the world (been about 2 years without end access) imma get as many elytras and as many phantom membranes as possible
Have you found a mod that will highlight ores and if so what's it called I've been looking for one but can seem so find one

I was working on building the farm with the 4 portals that looks similar but has all the magma blocks. I was laying down jack-o-lanterns as the light source to stop mobs from spawning. Will that be to bright for this farm?
anything brighter than glow lichen will stop phantom spawns

Is it okay to use solid blocks instead of leaves for the roof? If so, I'd assume you'd need to slab up the top of the roof, am I right in assuming so?

Question, can I make this at any height? I wanted to make it at elevation 250 so I don't spawn anything in the ocean. It's how I have a lot of my other farms set up. Will the phantoms spawn up there the same? Thanks for any replies!
any height is fine, just make sure you got enough room above you for the roof. you dont want the roof at built limit due to some lighting glitches etc, so just make its a few blocks lower like 311 or something

The old farms used to use Magma blocks in a ring around the farm. Do those not work anymore or is it a resource thing?
they work, but its larger and more expensive, takes longer to build, and probably worse rates

What hight should the bottom platform be at?
Will placing blocks on the glow floor mess up rates or spawning? Like can I age copper on the floor while it runs?
1. If you've used silentwisperer's exact glow lichen placement, you'll end up with spots that are 0 light level if you add blocks down there. Getting extra mobs will SEVERELY eat up the mob cap and prevent phantom spawns, so counter this as you see fit.
2. Due to how bedrock mob spawning works (northwest corner of the block), you will prevent mob spawns on the south and east sides of added blocks. Lots of single blocks will create lots of south and east sides = increasingly failed spawn attempts. The terminal case is a checker board, at which point you fail 50% of your spawn attempts = 50% of your item rates.
3. Putting extra blocks near center will very slightly harm your rates as the surface ends up

could you build this above your witch farm (so that they share an afk spot) or would that make both farms less efficient due to mob cap? im not 100% on the specifics of mob spawns

@@kylienorman6902 i havent built the phantom farm yet, but skimming through the other comments on this video i found a couple other people who combined the witch and phantom farms, so id say it's worth a shot. i still plan to do it. i do have the witch farm and it works great.

I may have made a mistake when making this, but it looks near identical in terms of what was built and for some reason my phantoms spawn, but only at night do you know why that might be? I dismay have used a little to much glow lichen, but the pattern is still there like yours just slightly different. Please hell
Mine was doing the same thing, the lighting was bugged making it brighter than it should, i turned off smooth lighting turned it back on and left the world and re joined its dark on the platform now and works during the day 🙂
Am I supposed to remove the glass above my head? I am not getting a single phantom spawning until I leave the afk platform and start walking around elsewhere. I'm at y level 88 at the top of my Scaffolding over an ocean. I have the 75 x 75 spawning platform under me right above ocean level and the sunlight blocker above me. Still no Phantoms 🤷♂️
you can have glass above you. just cant have any leaves, water, solid blocks or anything else that blocks light

this isn't for java, but a java kill chamber would just push all the phantoms to the middle above the player then you'd hit them with your sword manually:)
@@silentwisperer Yeah would be the plan, I was just wondering if the spawn mechanics are similar enough that building the farm would be worth it. Even though I mostly play Java I still watch your channel because how bedrock stuff is designed can give me ideas on how to do java redstone differently.
silent there’s an issue with villager trades: i went to buy a bunch of mending books to repair tridents and when i came back to buy a second bunch it shot up from 21 to 64 only after a few books.
Did the villager run out of Mending books? If so, that might be why. Villager trades often shoot up in price significantly when you consistently trade a single item until it runs out. Often, you have to wait a few restock cycles for the price to go down.
We need all farms to be one dimension. Not just because not all of us want to have two accounts to make a farm run, but also because things like the portal gold farms are now known to cause memory leaks.
The gold farms have always ran in a single dimension.
All multidimensional farms are meant for active multiplayer servers.
Each has a one dimensional option, silent is just an expert in optimization via dimensional unloading- plays mostly on multiplayer realms- so most of his designs optimize for that.
They all work just fine single player just have to go to the nether every 5-10 minutes or your world will crash from the sheer quantity of spawns lmfao.
Prowl does alot of dialed back single player pne dimension variations of Silent's huge maximized multidimensional uber farms.
Its not a fault, its why he's beloved.
Just like Prowl is beloved for providing designs and farm mechanics digestible to casual players.

I duped my bow, I figured out if you switched to next slot after shooting it deletes that item, and you'll have a duplicated bow. I was so confused the first time it happened. It just happened

Im not getting phantoms during rhe day? I have everything in place it looks the same with the lighting. I'm mor sure what i did can i build the roof wrong? Its 7 out. Any tips
if you're getting them during the night, you should be getting them during the day too. you made the roof out of leaves right, and the solid blocks need to extend 7 past the edge of your lower spawning platform, the leaves should be the same size/shape as your lower spawning platform:) Also make sure the central "stem" going up to the roof is made of solid blocks
also it could just be someone taking up the mob cap
@@silentwisperer checked it out again today and they started spawning? I'm on a realm so maybe that's what broke it. Thought I was six blocks out or smth but I wasn't and it started to work. Thank you maybe I just needed the pigoo blessing

Hi, Im wondering why I have a so bad rate with this farm...? I mean I double checked everything and all seems to be good but I still have Just like 1 phantom for every 3 minuts approximatly....? I build it on a Land, no caves under and more glow lichen to be sure thers is no other spawn, but still bad results, I mean, I do like th sound of trident killer for hours and hours, its so relaxing... But.. You know... 😂

i am having a problem in all my farms that uses trident killers like this one, most times whenever i exit and load my world all the tridents in my trident killers glitch through blocks and fall, i even noticed 2 impaling V tridents diseappearing Today in my mob farm instead of just falling into the ocean below it
It is seriously annoying, i have to keep collecting my tridents and throwing them where they should be in all my farms ):
I think it might be because the redstone clock cycles once, which might push the trident through the block it's supposed to be up against. It could also be because entities might be loaded before the terrain is fully generated.

A lava blade take around 12 seconds to kill a iron golem while a implaing 5 trident killer only takes 4.5 second

killing speed doesn't matter a ton, esp with the current bugs where tridents fall down. lava is more than enough most of the time 👍
For the outter circle. Each 8th From the center block/last block at the end of each 34 block run. not including, that block, is 5, 6, 5, 4, 3,3,3,3,2
Do this on both sides of each quarter and it will meet up perfectly. Hope that makes sense the way I explained it

afk spot should be 44 blocks above the ocean (on sim 4)
128 blocks for sim 6+
make sure you got enough room vertically to make the upper roof and stuff first. you can lower down the afk spot if you need to

Can you make a woodfarm that uses tnt for bedrock/mcpe next.
Bedrock doesn't have 100% TNT drop rates like Java does. Besides, we Bedrock players don't have TNT dupers, so it'd be quite expensive unless you had a creeper/ghast farm and access to a desert or sand duper.

Make killing them more painful and less useful, yes- yes. perhaps a disposal system that dumps 1/3 of the gathered membranes into the killing area, yes, yes. As they die they are confronted with the freshing skinned hide of one of their phantom friends/ loved ones, yes.
Bonus points if they see the loved ones corpse burns before the xp gained from killing them is uselessly detoured into nothingness to decay forever disused- proving once and for all-
