Just curious what coolant you run. Thanks for an extremely helpful video.

The easiest way to remove a core plug, is to take a awl or a ice pick, pierce it off center, screw in a 2" deck screw and pull it out with a little crowbar.

Except this kit replaced a threaded plug in the block, not a pressed-in freeze plug.

Is there not an accessible coolant drain valve to drain the coolant to prevent the mess? On my T250 it has one near the dip stick

What size Allen did you use to get plug out?

If you were buying a skid steer solely for use around your property would you rather have a model with tracks or tires and why. Thank you!

We'd go with tracks. Did this one because it fit in our budget at the time. Tracks aren't going to tear up a yard as much, and they can be more stable depending on your terrain.

Might be silly question but how bad is it if you start it while still being plugged in?

You do not want it plugged in all the time. Your electric bill will skyrocket. What I did was plug it in a couple hours before I needed it. It would fire up nicely. This is a short version why.

I leave mine plugged in constantly, but you're right, it only needs a couple of hours of heating time. My father put an Intermatic electro-mechanical timer on the circuit for the outlet he used for his block heater, so that every morning it would warm up the block in time for him to leave for work.

That would be a great way to do it. I had a semi heater setup like that. Never thought about the equipment lol. But alt of my stuff was done in summer. I enjoy your video’s

Until I move out there it will have to stay plugged in. Eventually it will be inside so it won’t be an issue. Thank you for the advice.

WHY DID YOU NOT HAVE THE NEW ONE TAPED UP AND PUT RIGHT IN WOULD NOT LOSE A PINT OF FLUID ??????

I thought about it but it was in the single digits that day and I know I would have ended up with coolant all over me trying to get it in there.

I’d let the fluid all drain out because for $10-20 or whatever drains out, you add brand new anti-corroding properties of new fluid and can ensure that it has the proper ratio to avoid the block from freezing.
