I have a 530 bobcat air cooled kohler engine / got a great heater in it for almost nothing and no exhaust fumes / ran a hot water heater elbow off of right blower shroud corner then hooked up a small dryer vent flexible aluminum hose up under seat / cut a hole in front panel lower blows awesome heat on feet and back wen ya add another t in it
Hi, Dustin. This is a dry socket design engine block heater. It uses a cartridge-style heating element that is installed into a "dry" cavity of the engine block material, rather than immersed in the engine's cooling fluid like other block heaters that are installed into a "soft plug" opening in the engine block.
come on Bobcat. a company as successful as yours should be able to find someone better to give instruction. This guy was obviously reading and sounded nervous.

Great video! thank you so much!
At what temperature is the block heater needed?
Is the heater element just heating the air inside the block? Its above the oil level obviously..
