    Breathing with your mouth closed can also help brain function Mouth taping during sleep and mindfully breathing with lips touching during the day can be a game changer towards well being

      Thanks for watching. Stress is so hard! It seems like we live in increasingly stressful times. Please try to be gentle with yourself, try to practice mindfulness, and seek the help of a therapist if you are able.

    What about cold exposure and brain health? I know a cold shower definitely helps my body function but what about my brain? Thanks for another great video.

      Thanks Tony! Yes, I have seen that cold exposure may help. I haven’t done a deep dive into the research on it yet. Stay tuned. I may do a video on it soon.

    I have been told, not by a doctor, to perform different tasks. By doing new and different things can cause your brain to make new pathways. Neuroplasticity?Have you shared this info before?

      Thanks for watching! Yes! Doing new and different tasks definitely helps too! Neuroplasticity is such a great thing. Who knew we could build new pathways!

    I find sleep to be a tricky one! No matter what time I go to bed, I always wake up after about 6.5 hours. I can't seem to make myself take 8 hours of sleep. I don't feel sleepy throughout the day. Do you have tips in this situation?

    • @EvenSoItIsWell
      @EvenSoItIsWell  4 месяца назад

      Thanks for watching Marie! The recommendation is 7-8 hours for the average person. You may be above average! 😉 if you are feeling well, 6.5 hours may be good for you! If you would like to sleep more you may be able to tweak your sleep habits a bit more to increase the time. Check out this video for more tips.
