Very nice to see an underrated cartoon reviewer tackling one of my favorite cartoons of all time.
As underdeveloped as she legitimately is, I would like to highlight a special characteristic of Nazz. Well certainly all the male characters DID crush on her, my favorite trait of hers was how chill, accepting and sweet she was with everybody, ESPECIALLY the Eds. She would always invite them to pool parties and other special gatherings while people like Kevin and Sarah would just reject them. She’s probably the character who treats the Eds the nicest next to Rolf and that’s an element of her character I wish the writers took more advantage of, but oh well. Fully developed or not, Nazz is still awesome and cool design-wise at least.
Anyway, great first part and I can’t wait to see the rest. 👍

love the history analysis on Danny Antonucci he's one of my favorite cartoonists and man Nick is the king of making terrible decisions when it comes to animation lmfao they've rejected so many what would be iconic animated series that could've been on their network

A big loss for Nick, if you ask me. Ed Edd & Eddy is one of the cartoons that make me defend 2000s Cartoon Network to the death. SpongeBob, CatDog, and Rugrats were cool. But there were something special with cartoons like Ed Edd n Eddy and Samurai Jack in particular.

As much as I love Samurai Jack and consider it as my favorite cartoon show of all time, there was something special about Ed Edd n Eddy. Every character in the show were all grounded and therefore relatable. Ed in particular is my spirit animal because of my creative imagination which eventually caused me to start writing my own books (I’m working on two books right now of opposite genres). Apart from that, I also go to the gym regularly so I basically qualify to be the Ed to my younger brothers.
Yes, I do have younger brothers and we all grew up watching Ed Edd n Eddy together. So much so that it shaped us into the men we are today. I’ve already explained how I’m the Ed of the brothers. But for my younger brother, he kinda resembles Eddy in a way in a sense that he’s somewhat money-hungry without being a greedy bastard. He actually satiated this desire for money at a young age by selling spam musubis in school when that’s a big no-no on campus. Basically he was competing with the school’s lunch system in secret. He had people that would sell his products on his behalf and by the end of the day, he would pay those pushers by letting them keep half of what they make. Basically he has a business mind, that guy. Then there’s my youngest brother who is actually a computer wizard. Without needing to explain too much, he’s clearly the Double D of us three.
But yeah Ed Edd n Eddy to me is a show like no other. It has a trio of boys that want to make money for jawbreakers and they use their strengths together to try and accomplish this despite failing most of the time, and all of its characters are relatable in some levels. You know you got something good when your show is still being talked about over a decade after it wrapped up.

After this show ended , there was originally going to be a prequel show that would’ve explored the teenage years of Eddie’s older brother , the show would’ve showed us how Eddie’s brother came to the neighborhood and how he became a legend in the neighborhood . Unfortunately only one episode was made and the the show was cancelled . Here’s the episode . ruclips.net/video/J8nqghjZejs/видео.htmlsi=CmbyvrChQJa3kMuM
