Bud, i'm so happy to see you reviewing something that isn't WH or Cthulhu-centric. Spreading your review wings into very different genres and systems is the best thing you could do. You will attract a larger, more diverse audience this way. It would be great to see you review OSR products as well. Questing Beast's Channel has a slew of products that a re lesser known, cheap, and/or are looking to reach a wider audience. Keep up the great reviews!
What an interesting rpg! Wish they'd have included a sample bestiary of creatures to strive forwards to create yourself (unless I missed it in the review). But with that price (and that beautiful art!) for the hardback it seems like a steal!
They have a few sample NPCs and monsters. However they only explain how they come up with SOME of the stats. Had to figure out how they derived Hit points on my own. It seems they multiply the number of HD by 3 to come up with it. But I Still don’t know how they came up with NPC defense scores. Since, with players, defense is equal to your agility score, but NPCs don’t even have agility scores.
@@Wesley_Youre_a_Rabbit the new edition is now out and available, and comes complete with an example adventure. whilst it doesnt have a huge amount, it does have some example charaters.
James Mapp yeah I JUST saw it on Questing Beast’s channel. But I don’t really feel like rebuying it just for the sample adventure.. or the increased amount of art... or the fantastic color redux... ....
At points over the last few years we have had our encountered characters including all sorts: evil Queens, gargantuan undead, vampire charmer, Conan the barbarian, the weird goat men from diablo 2, and what was essentially the colour beige.
A hardcover for 19.99 is a really good deal. I looked into prices for a book I'm making, myself, and there is very little profit for a hardcover book without giving it an absurd price tag. So props to them for taking the hit to their wallet to make their product cheap and quality.

This is just amazing. Got to know the project this week.

It really is. $20/£15 for a hardback/pdf combo this good is great value for money.

It is. Especially given the fact that it is full colour throughout.
I have this! and it's mad creative!
