The hands of Forbidden Knowledge corrupt and destroy the Warhammer world.
I always liked the fact that the Doomwheel in WFB is essentially a joke on a hamster wheel.
Great video, Bud! WH has some really insane lore! ⚔🐀🔥☠👻
Rats the size of men? Impossible!
Clan Skryre built an enormous nuke beneath Middenheim but infighting and a tunnel collapse prevented them from setting it off.
It's still there...
A video explaining everything the skaven had ever done would be hours long. I couldn't include everything so went for the basics.
❤ my boys and their lightning cannons
I do love the loathsome ratmen.
After spending a bit too much time on Vermintide I did a bit of a deep dive into when they first turned up, as I could remember them being pretty much like I recall in my childhood copy of Advanced Heroquest and my reprint of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1E from Hogshead.
Turned out they were introduced way back in a 2E Warhammer 3rd Citadel Journal released Spring 1986 had a huge article about them written by Jes Goodwin and Rick Priestley. (Jordan Sorcey later did a video covering this very subject 8 months ago)
What is astonishing is just how much they still resemble the Skaven we have today in Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer Fantasy RPG and even Age of Sigmar; where they seemed to be the faction changed the least.
Also I've always loved that it was the Skaven who are responsible for saving the Warhammer world from Nagash at his most powerful.
Yeah, I saw Jordan Sorcery's video. He does a great job of talking about their history out of game - mine is their history in game.
I love that they are relatively unchanged.
I actually just stole the Skaven and added them to my 5e Dragonlance campaign :P
Thank you so much for all this - I can only imagine how much work these lore videos are
Skaven are the funnest faction, they’re just wild and chaotic
Great video. You really know Skaven. Cheers!
The skaven should get more love
They got 26+ minutes of love from me!
May do Slayers next.
@@BudsRPGreviewPlease do Slayers!
Oh man I forgot to watch this earlier
Hey Bud! Just wanted to drop a line and say that i am a fan of your videos. While i am not really a Warhammer fan, at present this is your most recent video and i wanted to mention that your reviews are what convinced me to get into Delta Green and try Mork Borg so thank you!
I do have a dumb question, did you do voice acting for video games? There is one I play and there is an enemy type in it that I swear has your voice.
Lol Either way great vids and thank you!
Hi. Glad you enjoy the videos.
No, I have never done voice acting - which video game is it so I can check it out?
@@BudsRPGreview lmao absolutely it is Star Citizen, there are a group of bad guys called 9 Tails, and you can do bunker missions. One of the voices for the bad guys sounds like you in my opinion. Lol I totally expect the, "What are you talking about! Sounds nothing like me response."
