How common is it for aod be amended to an eod 4 months prior to aod on inital filing? I won on on initial. Got the verbal confirmation yesterday of eod 3-1-23 when aod was date of cancer diagnosis 7-10-23. Application got to ssa 2-5-24.
They did not amend your AOD. The claimant is the one who amends an AOD to a different AOD. Rather, they simply found you to be disabled, but that it was not proven as early as your AOD but at a later time. Glad to hear you prevailed and I wish you the best of health and recovery.
Can you Help me ? I made a few comments on a older video. But I need advice. Seeing a ALJ. AFTER a AC sending me back to him. No lawyer. I just need to know what to look for
Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything specific to you as I do not know your specifics or your case file :( Perhaps look at some of the ALJ Hearing videos. Did you choose to self-represent or did you have great difficulty finding an attorney to represent?
@AllThingsSocialSecurity I chose to not have a lawyer. This case is going BACK in front of the ALJ on referral of the appeals council. They sent me a cd of previous medical stuff. I'm not positive WHAT to look for . Going now to read ur other 2 replys...
@@starsunmoon30 If you chose to self represent, then you have to order all your UPDATED records, those visits you went to since the last date for each provider. in the CD; AND get them TO the Judge within the 5 day rule. Your hearing letter (one of them) explained that 5 day rule requirements, so if you didn't read it, that was a mistake. But you need to get those records ordered, expedited, in to the ALJ. If you order and are still waiting when the 5 day kicks in (which is really a week because of weekend and often 8 days if there is a holiday) - you fax in letter to ALJ explaining what you are waiting on, why it is important to your case, so he may give you extra time after the hearing to get in all your evidence.
@AllThingsSocialSecurity ok I'm going to call Monday and find out if they can get access to my medical record on my chart as everything new is on thier all in same portal. I'm pretty sure everything is digital as if now. I shouldn't have to send physical papers. But I will call and ask what and how to get this new medical evidence to the judges hand. Because yes if they NEED physical copy's it WILL take longer than I have in time, I can only call and try to get answers. I'm researching all videos yours and Walter's have so far been the best for answers. I'm trying the best I can, thank you for any and all help !
@@starsunmoon30 If they have a GOOD patient portal, it is so easy to download the full portal version... some places use mickey mouse portal software and either don't put up the records OR you have to click/download/save every single document from every single visit. Those are ATROCIOUS!
Good morning from Texas 🤠 have a great day ❤
