Mine says the appeal council and ALJ has completed my review on November 15,2024 this Friday and i am amusing ill know their decision soon it say anywhere from 15 to 30 days can this be a good sign are a bad sign are is it hard to tell

I feel weird graduating from college with honors, then spending nearly 8 years living on the streets before finding a veteran funded apartment.

The way I look at it in 50 years it won't matter anyway! So don't stress, most things people stress about don't happen anyway. Thanks for your reply on the other video

I went for my medical exam at step 3 I'm also 64 years old and haven't heard anything for a month now I still check everyday and it shows still being at step 3 what should I do is this good or bad?

Does the SSA tell you what they decide your RFC is? So you do not meet or equal a listing at step three and you go to step four and they have decided what your RFC is , my question is do they share that with you?

Excellent video describing the situation for myself and many others with mental illness. Am fine in my apartment for the most part but once i step outside for an appointment, relaxing walk or things that need to get done like food shopping all of a sudden my defenses come up and i can feel that hyper awareness which comes with schizophrenia though in these times everyone is more hyper aware of their surroundings. Having to deal with that every day for hours will eventually get me off kilter and overwhelmed. I have learned to adapt somewhat with things that filter out some of the external environment such as ear plugs and always carrying a music player. Am fortunate to live in a nice area with parkland just two blocks away where i can get out and enjoy that calming solitude outside my apartment. Sticking to a regimented schedule and routine makes a major difference as randomness can cause problems along with crowds which brings plenty of that. Am also in supportive housing which has been a world changer for me where i can get out everyday when before i used to stay in my room in my parents apartment all the time never coming out. Still i have always had miraculous support from family and family friends as well as thru the internet thanks to my brother inlaw who got me into computers when he saw how i was into tabletop wargames/rpgs which was another major change in my life considering how much one can do with computers in a isolated environment especially these days where you can go shopping at three in the morning without even stepping out the door. From the tine you take a CE exam how soon should SS notify you? I have been waiting a month I don't if that is a good sign or a bad sign? Every time I check the status on -line it shows the same step 3 status. I would call but if this is normal procedure I don't want to bother the case worker. I'm 64 and can collect full retirement at 67 do you have any suggestions?

Both of these programs have a FATAL flaw. For years, IT experts have been telling us to have a SEPARATE random password for each website. The reason behind that advice is, that if you have the same password for multiple sites, if one site database gets hacked, not all of your accounts would be hacked. Now, with either of these two ID schemes, if one account gets hacked, they all get hacked.

How common is it for aod be amended to an eod 4 months prior to aod on inital filing? I won on on initial. Got the verbal confirmation yesterday of eod 3-1-23 when aod was date of cancer diagnosis 7-10-23. Application got to ssa 2-5-24.

I know this was recorded a year ago, but your information really helped me and I appreciate it. I am a disabled veteran and I have two appointments next week. One for my knees, I guess that they are going to do x-rays on them and the second is for a mental check. 😢 I'm not happy about the mental health appointment because I don't want to talk about any of the stuff that happened in the military. I witnessed the death of a pilot and I was assaulted and both things are uncomfortable for me to talk about. My ship was deployed on September 11, 2001 and unfortunately things happened to me during the Iraqi War. I'm nervous about the upcoming appointments and your video helped me to understand whats going to happen. Alot of things you named like anxiety, memory loss, knaps during the day. I have nightmares about the pilot and my carrier sinking. It causes me not to sleep so I stay up all night and am fatigued during the day. I'm no longer working because I resigned from my government job. It was just becoming to deal with the public and my coworkers. I don't leave my house and I seclude alot. I feel comfortable in my home and I can control being here. I don't have to have an eye on everyone in the room because its just me. I'm very vigilant when I have to go outside. 😑 Anyway, thank you for this video.

Ok OLD things . They sent me a CD of all kinds of old med records should i fine tooth those ? And what am i looking for ? Diagnosis? Or issues that aline ? I went threw it. But i mainly see where drs failed. Didnt put correct info in notes etc. I honestly dont know what to look for.

I've been having a hard time figuring out the date to place onto my initial claim. SGA does not apply 4 my situation for when I stopped working. Federal worker, age 53. I stopped work Feb 2024, but used up sick leave (so was full paid leave), approved OPM disability early retirement May 2024. But started request for disability early retirement in 2021 and was using sick and annual leave constantly, and was not maintaining full work days, many days fully taken off. Medical records maintained, consistent. SGA then comes into calculation May 2024 (unemployed)

My judge and lawyer went with a pfd of 12-13-17 because I had initially applied but was struggling with proper treatment and I let it lapse. I reapplied in 2022 and at the hearing in October 2024 the alj had asked me why I waited so long to reapply. I told him why and he said that's understandable and agreed to set the pfd for 2017

Furter more CDI they sneaks arounds. I bet if they walked up knocked on the door of disabled folks and offered just 2 hours ofhelping us with dishes or helping with simple chores they might get bigger bang for their bucks wasted on following spying conceal. When your disabled your toilets dishes floors are dirty your clothes are unfolded easy but they waste resources drag the vounrable throughthe mud.

During the shutdown in 2018, of my onset date first 2017 then they lost my paper work, mean while a squator took over your home, then they lost your other paper work filed in 2019 thenyou don't hear from them as your having TIA 8 of them. On the onset of 2017 you had a brain injury. Without reveal of more sensitive info. This is how they screw brain injured folk with PTSD from being poisoned by greedy in-laws family members attempts to kill you for settling estates disputes. SSA sucks big time.

My little brother's federal remand the judge stated that his wife's function report should have higher consideration as she sees him every day. The ALJ did not consider side effects of medicine, criminal charges and the amount of therapy needed. I heard over 60% of mental health at the federal level are remanded.

If I went to a mental health facility for an initial evaluation 5 years ago does that show up on my medical record for proof of a severe medical condition?
