He sets them free. Basically, the monsters are imprisoned in Summoner's Rift for the sole purpose of being killed, and Ivern releases them from their imprisonment.
Really, it is a big "fuck you" towards whoever organizes the League in the lore of the game.
I like the explaination rgbc only problem is the League doesn't exist in the main lore anymore. :/

Ryze has been reworked multiple times almost more than any other champ and has been here since the start. It seems every time he is reworked the smae problems keep coming up and it is always joked that he will always be reworked because RIOT has yet to nail him in a stable kit/balance range.

I actually really like this champion design. You can tell they looked at it from a very different perspective. Abilities based off manipulating jungle landscape/monsters AND hes super nice in a game about killing opponents? Riot has done well being off beat.

Oggsar I like to see what new things Riot makes, despite not playing anymore it isn't because I dislike the game but the community is too toxic to tolerate.
That's fine if that's your final decision, but if you like the game you might want to just turn chat off and play the game for what it is. As long as you aren't a tryhard that has to win every game, you should have a fun time.
Daunte Nakriin I'm too competitive for my own good, usually I don't play games where you're pitted against other players because of that but league was the exception until all my friends quit playing.
You could always try just playing co-op vs ai or custom bot games.

I hope Ivern will get Victorious skin for this season. As he was definitely crucial on the competitive scene and was played a lot.

I doubt it, Ivern is a champ that relies on teamplay. He's balanced around him not being strong solo, but adding artificial value.
I dunno, Kled was pretty balanced when he came out, and all they did was lower his ult range in early levels. Yorick seems okay, too.

Man, Ivern seems like he could be a real Birch to the enemy. You could say his bite is worse than his bark. He really has some spring in his step. He moss work out. I mean, he seems strong as an oak. I will gladly play the hell out of this guy when I have the chance, this is so creative. 10/10 design Rito, we need champs like this who really push the boundaries on the meaning of top, mid, bot, support, and jungle. Not just millions of high mobilty champs with huge burst.

Awesome champion! I see I would hate being matched against him, but he seems well thought out, changing the game a bit.
Neat trick I've found, which reminded me of Timbersaw from Dota 2 (ironically).
When I was pushing a lane, as an enemy was coming up, I used rootcaller on an enemy jungle that I had put a grove on, and made my escape. Then I took it's gold.

my only gripe is tht it isn't truly all random, it just picks from your pool so you end up with accounts that have only siege champs to win as many arams as possible
