I love Rachel and Tom! It was their channel that gave my family the idea to host college dinners for our swim and triathlon teams at Gallaudet University. With so many students who can’t afford to travel home for long weekends, who don’t have communication access at home, who just want a good meal with new friends…it’s beautiful! And AGREED…these kids are so grateful and frugal they don’t want to take too much back to their dorms but we always manage to send more!

When Rachel said he's so wise because he's gone through so much that he shouldn't have had to. I started tearing up. My husband has told me stories. He processes thing with humor so while he's laughing about traumatic things that have happened I'm trying to hold it together and not bawl.

I’ve followed this couple for years through their journey but learned so much about them from this podcast. NC Native here who enjoyed hearing how y’all moved here, etc since I’ve always wondered with Rachel’s Chicago accent. Genuinely funny that others don’t know how to pronounce Appalachian lol Love everything that yall do for all the colleges around here! Continue being real down to earth people!!

At 1:07:23 , wow. This had me crying. As someone who has also gone through a lot, especially at a young age, this touched me. I truly believe that God allows things to happen for a reason, even though we may not understand it. Those experiences provides us a chance to grow more in wisdom. Thank you Matt & Abby, for continuing to be real and intentional with the subjects you talk about on each podcast. You are making a difference, I promise! God bless you!

This was another awesome Podcast Matt & Abby! Thanks for sharing Rachel & Tom what a great transformation and talking about grieving. I lost my best friend at age 14 and I tried to save her before anything happened, but nobody would listen to me. They probably thought I was being a ridiculous teenager. I tried saving her 6 months prior and then the night before she died, we talked on the phone an hour before it happened. It was the first time we were not together for a holiday weekend or weekend. We were together all the time. It was a very tragic situation and what happen even a few days prior. I have lost a lot of people at this time, I am 50 years old, and the hardest ones are the sudden Ones. I miss them all. I have gone through the grieving process that was so hard with my BF at age 14 and then my 2nd hardest one at age 21, that whenever I lose someone now it doesn't hurt as much as it should. It is a really odd thing, but I know I will see them all one day. Thanks for being Raw you all and thanks for sharing.

To reverse PCOS, you need to reverse elevated sugar and insulin levels by:
    1) reducing chronic stress
    • search up tricks/hacks/methods and do them
    2) increasing sleep quality and length
    • search up tricks/hacks/methods and do them
    3) optimizing diet
    • Eat less than 20g total carbs per day
    • Focus on animal fat and protein instead
    • Supplement daily
→ 4 drops Lugol's 2% iodine in "shot" of water
    → 10,000 IU Vitamin D³/K² combo
    • Minimize caffeine intake
The longer you stick to this protocol, the more PCOS symptoms will reverse (including the facial hair). Many people see complete PCOS reversal in about a year.
If you are taking hormone-altering drugs, it will probably take longer to see results.
I am happy to explain more or answer questions or address concerns.

Then fall asleep with tent but with it a little open at nap time. You get the picture! I love the quick transition of tent to no tent but as y'all know each kid needs something different so maybe that'll work better for your little one!

Definitely good to talk about, but we don’t need to stress out too much about our little ones being sad. It’s ok to be sad, we don’t need to try and distract from that emotion. Just make yourself available as parents and they will come to you

Yes post partum depression can happen to men especially those with financial burden. Adding to the family can cause alot of stress and stress effects how you sleep and eat and think and can cause anxiety.
For women their body go through a hormonal shift on-top of the mental aspect of bringing in a new baby and the worries that come with it.
I think the women obviously get it worse cause their bodies are trying to recover after giving birth, but that's not to say men don't also get emotionally messed up as well.

you can't reject having PCOS its controlled by your hormones etc. cravings usually mean your deficient in a vitamin mineral or nutrient I.E. you might crave chips when your low in sodium or dehydrated or you might crave leafy green veg/red meat if your deficient in iron. I know this from personal experience having suffered Von Willebrand's disease blood clotting disorder and how bad my menstrual cycles were until I was put on the Mirena IUD in my late 20s

It makes sense male postpartum is a thing, the #1 cause of death for pregnant women is honicide by their partner... let that sink in. 😳 Pregnant women are 16-35% more likely to be murdered than non-pregnant women. And it's so common for husband's to cheat on their wives while they're pregnant or within the 1st yr of the child's life. People really don't give out support for father's, and they need it as much as mothers do.
