They did. This is also pre patch so some of the ceiling that you see in here is now gone, I was just going through the level for my secret video and they opened it up in a lot of places.
Yup. When the developers put it up there, they thought it was reachable. When testers discovered they couldn’t reach it, they left it there as a joke. That’s when Jason McAllister came along and discovered the glitch to get up there. I’m glad they left it in and even have an achievement to get to it.
I think I understand why you didn't do the second room after the first one. In Palace Midas, there are 3 doors you have to go above aqueduct the one above the aqueduct and that takes the longest to get the lead bar so you probably did the two easy trials first.
Yes, it keeps you from backtracking so much if you do the other two first and then that one. Once you complete that one you can go straight to the garden without having to backtrack for the other two.
This level took me 3hrs!!! My average time per level has been around 2hrs. I cannot move forward 20 steps without consulting a walkthrough. Cannot believe how difficult these original TR games are. I blast through the modern ones with a breeze, no help needed.
It’s really been great to see how different time periods of gamers have been with this game. One of the main reasons I started these walkthroughs was because a friend who had never played games back in the 90’s was like “Mrs H I do not know how to get through these levels.” He found it very challenging at first and not in a good way. Now that he is beginning to understand the grid system and controls better he is beginning to enjoy the challenges. For me, coming back to this has been like muscle memory however I can see where people more used to modern games will find these difficult. Give yourself some time and you’ll start to see where you will be getting through levels easier.
I'm sorry to hear that. It could be a recent problem with the newest update. Did you try going back and forth between new graphics and old graphics to see if maybe it was popping up on one?
Thanks for the video. I was stuck because I didn't know you had to turn the bars into golden bars to use them..
@@freshamero3834 glad it helped!
I like how you took out that 1st crocodile...very nice move.❤❤🔥🔥
Thanks!
this helped sm but still I took an hour💀💀
You’ll get faster as you proceed!
Took an hour and a half 😂
That door switch behind the tree is a piss take
i really liked the details on the columns here: 18:55 they did a good work eheh

@@TheHiaira wow didn't know it! thank you 🙂
@@Darklatinus Yeah it’s pretty cool to see the changes they have made the last patch like that.
Is that reach / jump at 4:25 a glitch or something?? I was trying to figure out how to get up there for ages!!!

@@TheHiaira You make it look so easy. Master ninja!
atleast you are getting your moneys worth for what is supposed to be a "17 hour game"
How to back jump while standing? I can't get it done. Not even the side jumps. Wasn't a problem with PS1 but can't move in the remastered version
Are you using modern controls? I have heard it’s an issue with those. I use tank controls and haven’t had any issues with directional jumps.
@@TheHiaira yep I am. But I did find a turnaround and now it's working better. Not as good as you, of course 😅
They should've remastered tomb raider IV also.
@@hectorferla5612 I agree, I hope after the success of this they do.
Man this game was the shit
The lead bar wasnt there for me :( ruclips.net/video/Y-dWHHHZfrM/видео.html
