I recently started putting the date, cost and where I purchased items in the custom sku box - its handy to be able to see it right there under the active listings screen. New to your channel and loving it! Thank you for sharing!
New subscriber here! Great no nonsense information. I have been reselling for 3-4 years and it has definitely been a journey. But I love rescuing vintage or interesting items. And as you said, you always have to work the algorithm! Have a great day. Debbie 🌟
Brother I followed your advice to the letter and SCORE!!! It turned out to be a blessing. The sale prices drove my results through the roof and this morning I had 39 interested buyers that didn’t pull the trigger over the weekend at 15% off. Tonight those interested buyers received a 20% discount and within 5 minutes I had 2 purchases! THIS METHOD WORKS!!!! Thank you!
so your items are 20% overpriced, and you lowered them by sending offers, and you made sales? Have you considered that your products aren't selling, because they are too expensive?
the answer to if there's not a lot of margin is they probably shouldn't be selling that in the future. you gotta make enough to account for risk of tying up good money, risk of a return wiping out your profits. sort of like scalping for 50 cents here and there, you might win on 99 of them but when that 1 drop ship gets lost (and it will)- then you lose all of that product and the money.
Ive been a power seller since 2002. The last few years and especially this year have trickled in sales. You must have an un-throttled golden egg ebay account. 15k on a small eBay account with few hundred listings? Wild and hard to believe
Thanks for the watch and comment. That's awesome you've been on so long - I've been selling since 2012 so you've got a decade on me. I previously worked with/for two million dollar eBay sellers so I picked up a lot of information and 'tricks of the trade' from them. They put my numbers to shame 😆 But they encouraged me to 'go big' and focus mostly on overstock and liquidation type auctions so that's what I dove into a couple years back. That stuff sells well and fast and a lot of it has $50-$100 price points. Thanks again!
for the seller hub, how do you get to that. My Ebay account doesn't give me the option? Is there a certain number of sales you get before you get that option?
My concern with games is that they'll be missing pieces, so I've mostly avoided those. Do you check them? In store or after you get home? There are always so many at my favorite shops, so that could be a great thing for me to branch into.
Great info!! I watched one of your videos the other day I'm not sure if it was this or not but ai didn't know I could list different percentages off in diff categories during a sale. Thanks for the info..
90% eBay. A very small amount on Mercari. 3% Amazon . The rest I sell via consignment shops (exclusively clothes) and I do well with my own garage sales and flea markets. 🙂
Great video! I recently heard another RUclips reseller suggest not selling ink cartridges, because they often result in a VeRO strike. Have you had any experience with this? It seems like ink cartridges are sold by a lot of resellers.
Def possible. I got a VeRO on HP Instant Ink. All other inks I sell regularly. Maybe just avoid the HP Instant Ink. I do see many resellers are selling instant ink however, eBay won't allow me to for whatever reason. Just a weird thing in the universe I suppose.
if you have a multi qty item, do you have any concern about maybe someone who just bought or bought recently then finding that they could have gotten a better price if they had waited. and maybe they don't feel as good about their purchase, or if you haven't shipped it then you get the lame cancel and rebuy kind of thing and they might be a little justified in that
Very informative video. Thanks as always for the entertaining way you deliver the information. Only 3 more days till "your most favorite of all favoritest of months"- OCTOBER! and your most favorite holidays - HALLOWEEN! 🎃
Does the USA site let you run them weekly on the same items? AU you need to have space between them before it allows u to run a sale on the same item - 20 days I think.
U’re right, I look at prices vs sales ‘hooplah’ or gimmicky wording. I’m a new again reseller this yr, + I set my prices higher but ppl still ask for offers of whatever the lowest competitive reseller price is going for. Frustrated, this morning I started thinking like u… I want to at least dbl my money.
Good video. I think people new to flipping mistake seeing all the bolos and think this is easy but there is far more to it and specifically on an individual item basis.
Check next vid and I'll show screenshots. Honesty is best medicine and I would have no reason or benefit to "lie" about a silly thing like sales. While I don't want to make my channel or content about how much or little money I make, it's good to establish honesty with real data so we can all move into the realm of possibility together. Thanks for your comment!
This strategy DOES NOT WORK after the 1st time you try it. Weeks ago i dropped 400 item prices and got no sales. Two weeks after that i did 20 30 40% off and had 6 sales over the weekend and and 5 on Poshmark. Tried it this weekend, got one lousy sale from Ebay 1 from PM all weekend. So im not sure what Ebay is doing. Why would it work one week and not the other. 2 sales last week? Are you serious? I have over 600 items. So 1/2 my store was on sale pretty much. Also, i fail to see why you leave OFFERS ON when you've discount an item 20 - 40%? Why would you do that? Where is your bottom line. Also, the items you sell, i really question those as being FAST MOVING ITEMS to be honest i mean im not trying to be rude but those are not ground breaking items everyone wants. So how did you come up with 15k in sales is a mystery to me with 192 items? Really? Howcome it keeps working for you and for me at least it worked one time?
If you have 400+ items listed and are only getting 1 sale over a weekend you really need to look at what you are doing, at 400 items you should be at 5-10 sales a day without a sale easy.
@@JD61010 Im not at 5 or more sales because i injured my knee back in March 2024 and have not been able to source or list ever since. If you cant walk properly you can run an Ebay biz.

Do you promote your new listings, also? If so, at what percentage?
EBay store name??
What is your sales comparison with promoted items vs putting items on sale?
Does the 15k include Amazon too or just Ebay?
What is your eBay store link?
One of your best videos! Nice shout out to Tucker.
This makes sense. Weekend sales then work the offers Monday -Wednesday. I will try that and report back...

192 listings into $15,000 in one month?! I’ve never seen that unless there are several high-end items for sale.
That somehow doesn’t add up......not sure I believe it
That's an average sell price of just $78. Including shipping it's closer to $50. Not crazy at all.
