While I agree that Hollywood definitely has flaws, from what we've seen of Oats in terms of structure, pacing, plot, and storytelling they're honestly pretty terrible when compared to "real movies". They have amazing special effects and some great cinematography, but that's all there really is to it at this point. Firebase was a huge improvement over Rakka IMO (which was basically just 90% torture-porn of aliens murdering humans for the lulz and the survivors being gloomy Rambos going on about how everything sucks) but in terms of scriptwriting there's no real character development or story arc or anything beyond a basic concept. If these are meant to be an ongoing series or proof-of-concept pitches then this would admittedly make sense. Even so, there's a reason why Hollywood films have a particular formula: it works. I concur that Hollywood does have problems with creativity, but there are reasons why these things exist, and throwing out the baby with the bathwater just for the sake of being different isn't really helpful either. That said, this is all the unwarranted opinion of some guy on the internet, so take everything I say with a pinch of salt.
People just tired seeing millions dollar budgets wasted on stuff like Transformer movies or the likes. Just see people reaction to the new Jumanji trailer. What a way to go to ruin an amazing movie and also one of many Robin's greatest movie. Maybe if they not naming it "Jumanji" for the cash grab or at least try used the original movie formula it would be better.

I've got to hand it to Oats Studios, I might be going out on a limb here saying this, but they've managed to once again pull off another great feet of creating a disturbing yet enthralling teaser that tip toes around my curiosity. Now I don't want to kid around with this post, I want them to know that their efforts are not in vein.... even if these shorts do not fertilize into major productions, they will always have a huge fan ovum here on youtube. We have to stay patient here, we don't want to spermatoosoon before the main event due to the anticipation of the full video - all good things take time, and Zygote looks like it will be handful of a good time.

Be carpal what you wish for, that was kind of a wristky move even though you got puns all fingered out. Eye would rather kunckle-down and follow foot than tell a secondhand joke, just to keep myself from becoming knee-deep in an aphalange of puns. It comes in handy to be armed with a good head on your shoulders, so you must have a leg up on the competition, so I feel anklined to say that you nailed it as the prints of puns.
The content you all have been producing is amazing! Checks all the boxes: creative, original, engaging, beautifully shot/animated/edited. And somehow, you all keep giving us more and more. All I can say is thank you!
Chappie was bad, bad acting too. It was a REMAKE of the 80's Short Circuit. I know he has his own franchise, I think he could have done a better redo of ALIEN, than Scott. Until Scott took it away.

They're not afraid of just trying weird ideas they just go for it, and that's where really special entertainment ideas/concepts comes from, they are not restricting themselves to the norm.
