This movie was an enjoyable dramedy, thanks to the the whole team involved. The acting was solid along with the storyline. I rate this a 10. Precode movies soar above the rest from that era.

Oh, I suppose the overall story was all right, but the cast wasn't. Blanche Mehaffey was unimpressive and wooden. John Darrow was visibly awkward in the romantic scenes with her, probably because his private love life was 'the other way' with his 'partner' Charles Walters. Gwen Lee, as 'Blossom', was passable. The real talent there was Raymond Hatton, who consistently came across no matter role he was playing. Would I watch it again? Sure, why not. Like any other viewer, I can 'tune out' the actors I don't care for.
