In this video we will study about the third pillar of Indian Polity that is the Judiciary of India. Indian Judiciary is a single, integrated and independent Judiciary with Supreme Court at it's apex. In this video we will study about the details of the Indian Judiciary and then study about the supreme court of India. Indian Judiciary is one of the most important topic of India Polity for SSC CGL.
In this topic we will study about the Indian Judiciary, Supreme Court. In Supreme Court we will study about:
1. Qualification to become judge of Supreme court
2. Composition of Supreme court, no of judges of supreme court
3. Oath of office
4. term of office
5. process of removal of judge of supreme court

5:45 Now, maximum of 34 Judges can be appointed including CJI. This decision was made after ex CJI Ranjan Gogoi wrote a letter to PM Modi to increase the no of Judges.

One improvement which India and Judiciary should bring to Bharat is the elimination to words which give credit to europeans and british colonisers..."My Lord"....India should have rid itself from such abominations... I found it surprising that noone has ever requested a serious change to the judiciary of india and proposed the eradication of the appellation of My Lord applying to the judges..The judges cannot be called My LORDS...I consider this procolonial mentality...
