You could try making the balls more fluid, like the way water moves around in a solid. Just a suggestion to make them less static. Other than that I think you did a good job
My only complaint is that the explosion lasts too long. A rocket isnt going to explode, then continue exploding another 10 seconds while also having no effect on the environment/people after the inital explosion.
