This is amAZING. My two favourite things about aquariums in one, hair grass and shrimps. We don't have any aquarium stores in my place,so I use a glass jar. I planted some hair grass I found in the fields and a shrimp my friend caught for me from the river. This video is just awesome. Can't wait to see the shrimps in it

Great video, MD! This was a very enjoyable sort-of back-to-basics tutorial, and I really appreciate your focus on using materials that you can pretty much acquire from around the house, or a quick trip to the hardware store (plants excluded). That bowl came out really well, and I look forward to following its progress, and maybe even scaping a bowl of my own. Keep up the good work!
Great video. My partner has decided that now is the time to find out what all the fuss is about, so I've given her my first ever bowl to re-scape! First task, get her to watch this video!! Thanks so much! 👍
You inspired me to try this type of tank. I now have 4 of these small no filter, no air tanks. They are doing great. My lime green endlers are breeding in their bowl. My old betta, Earl, is happy in his cube. My celestial pearl danios and my emerald dwarf rasboras are doing great in their respective cube tanks. All are 4 gallons and under.

Very fine performance young man, I was hooked at the spot because I work with fish bowls for decades. They were some time forbidden by law in Germany. My first aquarium book, published 1929 read by me 1972,shows many things you did . Today I run a bowl roughly double the size of yours with a cheap lamp the only technical stuff. Housed is a 7 to 8 years old Betta, a retired natural blue wild one with two inches tail... Built my first gadget to clean the glass out of a champagne's butt and piece of sponge. I apologize, it's a novel wrote, all the best from Northern Germany Ludwig.
MD....your work is simply amazing.... beautiful. Who coined the phrase, "Simplicity is genius?" At 74, I am just getting back into aquariums and am amazed at how far things have come.
