I did forget to mention my favorite sunscreen topper for heavy outdoor activity- that’s the IT CC (various varieties) foundations. I keep that with my sunscreen but it’s great for adding a layer of extra protection and I grab one for 50% off during every Ulta sale!

Great video! Just found your channel and love this series. As an almost 60 yr old 😳😳😳I remember when I started buying higher end products in my 40’s as my skin changed, which has since gone from oily to dry the past few years. Looking forward to more declutters 💕💕

Thank you so much for watching!! I’m so new at this so I know my video audio quality isn’t the best, I definitely hope to improve that soon!! There are so many predatory companies out there these days targeting women and trying to capitalized on insecurities. I really hope to shed some light on that and build a community around Figuring out what’s really worth it! 💗

I feel like we have somewhat similar skin/concerns. I'm also very dry and sensitive, also rosacea-prone. So your recommendations, knowledge and experience is very useful to me! Love your videos! :) Have been following you for a while on IG (2 years I feel?), glad you have a youtube channel now.

Thank you so much for watching!! I’m so new to RUclips that I thought I was getting notifications for all of my comments, but apparently I’m not!! I’m so sorry I missed this!!!!! I’ve been trying so many things since being on tret and having dry skin, I hope to at the very least, save some people money by avoiding things that don’t work! Make some of my bad purchases worth something lol! 💗

Great work 😊 I also have issues with finding a shade match, everything is always too warm. I think you and I are shade twins 😅 as for concealer, I'm still on the hunt, good grief 🤣😘😘💖💖💖💖💖😻

Thank you so much for watching!! 💗 It’s so frustrating fighting to find a good shade, especially when I want coverage and am unwilling to wear a turtleneck 😂

I have to skip all SPF foundations. They give me fits. My oily skins favorite is Estee Lauder Double Wear, Double Wear light and the Dermablend Drop Foundation works for me if I use very little on a humid day. I used to like Tarte Face Tape. I like getting samples to try. I got the ND powder foundation and it isn't matte enough. I will use it as touch up powder. Maybe in the cooler months it will work better. Duor Backstage didn't work for me at all. I forgot that I do like the Hourglass stick foundation. I haven't had it for a hot minute. I am nit a skin tint person either. I need more coverage. I have never tried the PM foundation. I tried CT foundation and it showed lines I didn't know I had.
My favorite concealer is ND. I like Hourglass under my eyes. I have tried 1000 concealers. Great reviews. Have a wonderful week ❌️⭕️

thank you so much for sharing your favorites for oily skin!!
I really really want to try the ND concealer!! I hope the powder foundation works in the winter!!
I hope you have a wonderful week also! 💗

I have really dry, maturing skin too so I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on foundations. I also didn’t like The Best Kind Ever foundation, but kept trying to. Haus labs is in my top 3, but I have to say you’re right about it being finicky. It can look awesome! But there are some days I wear it and wonder what happened!?
It’s funny you mentioned that you returned the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin serum foundation because I was going to recommend it to you. I just picked it up and love it! I recently reviewed it. You are right that it is pigmented though. I typically prefer to apply my makeup with a brush, and while it worked, it was a less skin like, so I have been applying it with a sponge.

I genuinely felt like with the yummy skin I just wasn’t using it right! The skin tint version seems similar to me, but just a little bit easier to use. I’m so curious have you tried that one?

@@UnfilteredMakeup I don’t think it’s a drop everything and run to purchase situation by any means but I definitely think it’s one you might like! It’s another one I have to play more with bc It actually feels to Dewy, but I’m sure there’s a way to tame it down. It’s very similar to the hourglass skin tint actually!

@@Criticalbeauty411 now it’s definitely on my radar. I’ll look for it in store to see if I can test it. The serum foundation can also go a little dewy. It’s always rare for me when that happens.
We have really similar opinions on most, so it’s exciting to have someone to look for foundation recommendations.

@@UnfilteredMakeup it’s rare that I say something is super dewy also! Whenever somebody says they like something for dry skin, I’m like …dry skin or DRY skin? lol!

Which sunscreen(s) do you like under makeup?

@@ZepedaMR3 For my extra dry skin, my top 2 are the Isntree Hyaluronic acid watery sun gel and APLB glutathione niacinamide sunscreen. Both are Kbeauty, unfortunately I don’t really get on with any of the American filters but the upside is these are both super affordable!! I just love that they are thin, never pill and never dry me out!
