My all time favorite is the Sisley and I love the surratt too but I haven’t found the exact right shade. The Haus Lab is pretty good but my skin is going through a change and becoming dryer so that requires quick work.
Thanks for the detailed video. I know that took a lot of time and effort. I’m not a big concealer person, but the one I use is the Armani one in the shorter tube. I also used the Maybelline Age Rewind for the longest. For many years I’ve used a dot of MAC Prep + Prime in Radiant Rose underneath concealer. That is a cool toned brightener that makes all the difference in the world on my super fair skin to wake it up.
I will say my last tube of Lancome I used to long and it wasn't working well but I just thought it was my aging eye skin etc. I got a new tube just to see and oh my goodness it was so much better. So I do think it goes off without you really knowing.

I have very dark circles under my eyes. Genetic. The Sisley concealer works for me. When I use the Westman Atelier Drops, can use this product as an under eye concealer. A little bit. I am over 40 and I hydrate my skin a lot - inside & outside. I have been curious about the Natasha Demons and Chanel concealers. But I’m scared to try other products and waste my money.
I actually like the rankings of different concealers. I have a very hard time finding the right concealer because I have dark circles. It’s good to mix it up a bit. Have you ranked mascaras? Excellent video.👍🏻

I have the Sisely concealer, but as much as I wanted to love it, I find it a bit dry. I do use it in the inner corners of my eyes as a color corrector, but now I am looking for a concealer for the rest of my under eye. Your video was very helpful. I will take some of your recommendations to Sephora and ask for a small sample of a few to try at home. I feel like finding the right one is trickier than finding a foundation. Thanks again!

As a younger gal, I watch your videos because I love your technique since you have more character to your skin and things like puffiness and fine lines. I have very similar troughs under my eyes even at 30 years old, so this is super helpful information! I don’t deal with darkness as much as fine lines and troughing. I greatly appreciate how much you share in detail here about the product, texture and application! I feel that I could reasonably purchase a concealer based on your descriptions, without driving a considerable distance across my state to a store with testers! The Lancome concealer I had a very similar experience with. I loved it when I first got it and used a whole tube! But then overtime I tried other things and it just wasn’t the best anymore. It also now looks rather dry under my eyes and cakes. I do enjoy the Kosas concealer quite a bit though! But unfortunately, I do need to toss my current tube due to age. I’m not sure yet if I want to re-purchase it, as I am working through some other concealers, but I would definitely pick up the smaller size. I understand production costs, and labor when it comes to manufacturing cosmetics, but I do think that smaller sizes would be so much more beneficial to actually get through a product!

My 1 and 2 match yours, and really, once you get the hang of applying just a wee bit of the Sisley, it isn't too fussy for me. I sometimes apply with an angled eyeliner brush. I do want to try the Surratt, but I have to work through a couple first.

The Sisley is my holy grail I only discovered it because my gran bought herself the wrong colour, the tube lasts me such a long time and ive refought it twice now, I find the peach tone is perfect under my eyes at correcting my blue/purple discolouration - my skin is very fair and thin around the eyes - almost translucent! its really hard for me to find a concealer that actually covers and sits nicely as my skin can be pretty dry :) ! love the video

Like so many people, at 63 I've tried SO many concealers. I always used Becca color corrector under all of them but lately I found the concealer of my dreams... Fitglow concealer! Lovely and helpful video Kiki. I am 50 with very dark undereyes. My favorites are the the Sisley and Tom Ford concealers. Natasha Denona looks dry and unflattering on me. The Dior fades in me and unfortunately does not have enough coverage to cover my darkness 🎨
You have beautiful skin. I'm guessing that you've stayed out of the sun. I've used a lot of the products that you've mentioned but my favorite is Lancome Teint Idôle Ultra Wear All Over Concealer.

Terrific review! Have you tried the Valentino or Natasha Denona ones? Expensive as can be, but I rationalize that if I don’t have to keep trying others to find anything I’ll save money in the long run.
I think youre right about concealers and such as being our 'underwear' you know if you get good fitting bra and panties, your dress or whatever, will sit smoother and nicer over the top...same with make-up, get good products that go well together, dont react badly to the formula of other products and suits your particular skin type, then the foundation and powders you put over the top will set down nice, reduce wrinkles and such 👍👍🇦🇺
I completely agree about the Lancome concealer. I hate it. It goes into my crows feet. After watching this video I will try using the tip of the Angie brush and see if I can blend it out. My problem is the dark groove on the outer corner of my eye which is also where the crows feet are so I need a medium coverage concealer. I LOVE your blouse, is it still available? Love your videos.
B-roll is very helpful to convey details. I have tried Dior and couldn’t find a shade. I have bought Kosas twice because of a good shade. I like it and I don’t. It is too radiant. I really don’t have darkness, just shadows. I used to use a lighter concealer and have adjusted to wearing foundation only so it is cohesive and draws less attention to the puffy areas. Sometimes I blend a tiny bit of concealer at the inner corner of my eyes. Right now I have a head cold and my eyes are a real mess and I have a Zoom call later today. 🙄. Eye patches, here I come!
Kiki Have you seen Wayne Goss's trick for those bags we get? Use a tad darker concealer so the trough and bag are shadowed from the rest of the regular under eye concealer. Works like a charm. For me at least. Charlotte Holdcroft ,who is a blast, doesn't set her Tom Ford concealer, I was hating mine . So I wear it to the doctors lol
I’m 60 and the Lancôme, although it’s the best color match for me out of all the concealers I own, just sits on the skin! It’s so weird, I never had this problem with any other concealer. I love the Dior one and also the classic Estée Lauder Double Wear if I want more coverage. Thank you for this video, it was very informative 👍❤️

Try the Sisley in your trough/corner(tiny amt!) like a corrector and the Tom Ford under the eye for discoloration- a perfect combo in my opinion. Did just order the one from ND as everyone raves to give it a try🤣 always searching for perfection I suppose.

I have the Sisley, Lancome and Dior (although I think it has been reformulated). I also have about 20 other concealers. Hands down if I could only keep one, it would be the Sisley. In the winter, our skin tones are very close. Not sure what color you have in the Sisley but I have no.1. Yes, it is peachy but for some reason it works year round. I also don't find it fussy but I always apply it with a damp sponge. I really thought I was going to pick up the Givenchy or Tom Ford during the Sephora sale but you may have saved me money because now I don't think I need them since I have the Sisley. 😃 The Dior and Lancome I mostly use for spot concealing as they tend to be too dry under my eyes

Cle de Peau is my #1. It, too, requires some work and it’s expensive, but it’s a great color match. When I’m in a hurry or just taking out the trash, I can quickly conceal redness and sun damage. It has been difficult to resist some of the newer releases or ANYTHING Lisa Eldridge recommends, but, I’m no longer dumping $30 to $40-range concealers in multiple colors in the trash. Kiki, did you ever try Estée Lauder Double Wear Radiant? What are your thoughts? I picked it up in a whim and I’ve been happy. My under eyes are problematic at best :/ I’m very interested in the Chanel sublimage concealer. The Sisley looks nice once it’s on.
No I haven't tried foundations or concealers from EL - a few times over the last few years I tried to get matched, and they just don't do a shade for me.
I probably have different preferences than the regular viewer. I don’t care to see reviews or recommendations of only new products. But I understand makeup channels are about new products, so you need to tend to those preferences so your links get used. I personally also stay away from new brands, I don’t care for them, and that’s something that you need to review to sell. For example, I don’t care about new makeup brands like Kosas, caliray, rms, makeup by mario, bare beauty, etc. there’s so many, and they are probably so good too. I don’t know what it is. I don’t even click on those videos, unless I really need some makeup video distraction and I don’t have anything else to watch. I know I’m probably the only one to think this way. Maybe in the back of my mind I think those are brands for younger skin. I was glad to hear your thoughts on the Sisley concealer. I’ve used it for years and I feel like it does not work for me anymore, I don’t think mine is old, but it looks dry on me. I’m tempted to try the Chanel one in a jar that’s supposed to be very hydrating, but apparently it does not have as much coverage. The Surratt sounds amazing, but it’s hard to chose one online. I think I did review that. I returned it. I don't recall it was bad, it just didn't work for me for some reason - I think it was the color. Life it too short to keep the wrong color!
That's my Beagle, Gracie! Her crate is right next to me and she loves to nap and snore while I'm shooting! It's funny, she doesn't snore at night or on the sofa sitting next to me, she only does it when I'm shooting - lol
In the Givenchy - both concealer and foundation - the shade you gave was 215. Are you sure it isn’t 250? I don’t see a number 215 in either of those products
Sisley concealer has been my daily goto for 3 years now, try applying it with a real techniques concealer brush, mine is a limited edition one called instapop shade brush from the same brand.

I especially like the smaller ideas with "clean" products - no one wants to toss out product before they've had the chance to use it!

The Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat is holy grail for mature dry undereyes. It's pricey but you get tons of product. A tube lasts me close to two years
I'm currently using Lancome. And I love products that work regardless if it's new or not so thank you.

I did try the Denona. It was okay - but the shades were a little off. The effect reminds me of the Kosas.

No, I haven't seen it. The thing that bothers me the most is when concealer gathers in the trough.
Lancôme concealer is Hands down the best! So is the Nars concealer in a pot covers everything and I’m 64

I struggle with the color of the Sisley. Even the 1 is too dark for my super fair skin. I need to try my Tom Ford again because I didn’t like it initially.

Try the Sisley in your trough/corner(tiny amt!) like a corrector and the Tom Ford under the eye for discoloration- a perfect combo in my opinion. Did just order the one from ND as everyone raves to give it a try🤣 always searching for perfection I suppose.

I have the Sisley, Lancome and Dior (although I think it has been reformulated). I also have about 20 other concealers. Hands down if I could only keep one, it would be the Sisley. In the winter, our skin tones are very close. Not sure what color you have in the Sisley but I have no.1. Yes, it is peachy but for some reason it works year round. I also don't find it fussy but I always apply it with a damp sponge. I really thought I was going to pick up the Givenchy or Tom Ford during the Sephora sale but you may have saved me money because now I don't think I need them since I have the Sisley. 😃 The Dior and Lancome I mostly use for spot concealing as they tend to be too dry under my eyes

Cle de Peau is my #1. It, too, requires some work and it’s expensive, but it’s a great color match. When I’m in a hurry or just taking out the trash, I can quickly conceal redness and sun damage. It has been difficult to resist some of the newer releases or ANYTHING Lisa Eldridge recommends, but, I’m no longer dumping $30 to $40-range concealers in multiple colors in the trash. Thank you, Kiki! This must’ve been hell to edit. 🌸🐝

Kiki, did you ever try Estée Lauder Double Wear Radiant? What are your thoughts? I picked it up in a whim and I’ve been happy. My under eyes are problematic at best :/ I’m very interested in the Chanel sublimage concealer. The Sisley looks nice once it’s on.
No I haven't tried foundations or concealers from EL - a few times over the last few years I tried to get matched, and they just don't do a shade for me.
The Lancôme is very dry on me, as well. I wore it once when I first got it, and never again.
Do you use any cream for puffiness under concealers?
I probably have different preferences than the regular viewer. I don’t care to see reviews or recommendations of only new products. But I understand makeup channels are about new products, so you need to tend to those preferences so your links get used. I personally also stay away from new brands, I don’t care for them, and that’s something that you need to review to sell. For example, I don’t care about new makeup brands like Kosas, caliray, rms, makeup by mario, bare beauty, etc. there’s so many, and they are probably so good too. I don’t know what it is. I don’t even click on those videos, unless I really need some makeup video distraction and I don’t have anything else to watch. I know I’m probably the only one to think this way. Maybe in the back of my mind I think those are brands for younger skin. I was glad to hear your thoughts on the Sisley concealer. I’ve used it for years and I feel like it does not work for me anymore, I don’t think mine is old, but it looks dry on me. I’m tempted to try the Chanel one in a jar that’s supposed to be very hydrating, but apparently it does not have as much coverage. The Surratt sounds amazing, but it’s hard to chose one online. I think I did review that. I returned it. I don't recall it was bad, it just didn't work for me for some reason - I think it was the color. Life it too short to keep the wrong color!

The Sisley does last forever-it takes so little. I use it almost daily and have had for well over 2years-prob should break out the backup.

In the Givenchy - both concealer and foundation - the shade you gave was 215. Are you sure it isn’t 250? I don’t see a number 215 in either of those products

Sisley concealer has been my daily goto for 3 years now, try applying it with a real techniques concealer brush, mine is a limited edition one called instapop shade brush from the same brand.
Yes! That's the name of the brush with the purple handle that I used! It's actually for eyeshadow - but works wonderfully with concealers
