I am over 50 years old and I love the Luminous Sillk concealer by Armani. It does what the name says, it's luminous and silky. I also like the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing concealer. Both are not dry and perfect for mature skin.
Both the Huda and the Pat McGrath settle into my fine lines. If I set them, it makes the skin look older. The concealers I reach for the most and work well on my skin are Clinique Even Better All Over and Estee Lauder Double Wear
Personally, I prefer products in a jar. I am a very 'neat' product user and have never had any mishaps. Also, I feel that there is more product waste in the doe foot applicator and I don't like the doe foot touching my skin then going back into the product. Call me crazy, but to each her own. We are all different and prefer things different ways. Thus said, I completely agree with the Chanel product. It is a complete waste of money because we are paying extra for the packaging (very pretty) and very heavy glass jar. As for the Dior... Always the best. Thank you for the review.
My morning routine. Wake up, walk the dog, check for a new Video from Charlotte! Snuggle down with a cuppa and enjoy 😊 you always brighten my day! Thank you
Totally agree with your top 5! I personally put the Chanel in #1 spot because it seems to work best on my undereye wrinkles. I’m 45 and and struggle with insomnia so I have a few extra lines there :) But the Chanel seems to look the most natural, feels the most hydrating, and covers really well with the tiniest amount. I’ve been using it since it was released, and I’m literally still only using product from the lid haha, haven’t even dipped into the pot yet. It’s amazing. Thanks for this video, I’m always excited to watch your next one. Hope you’re having a great day 💛
Try using at bedtime! I spoke with a Chanel beauty manager and she said she uses it at bedtime too since it has eye cream ingredients in it. It’s more than just a concealer. I’ve been doing it for 2 months now and I’m happy with the results. I now wake up and no longer super puffy
Been using that dior concealer for years bc their cool tones are rosey rather than pink. I also love the "airbrushed" effect it has. However, I can tell you w/confidence this concealer presents as full coverage but just like Dior's perfume, it does not last long. I can also tell you, again w/confidence, that dior has raised the price twice since November 2022. The "reformulation" is simply niche skin care ingredients and apparently a a glass component. Which, in theory can't be all that good considering the price was only raised by $4. Thoes 400 pennies are enough for me to look elsewhere. Pms'y rant over.
Hi Charlotte, My HG is Sisley concealer. It has a very good coverage without being heavy and it doesn’t crease at all. You need a very, I mean VERY small quantity and it will last easy much more than an year with daily use (you get 15ml product). The only drawback is that you have to apply a consistent layer of moisturizing cream first if you have a very dry skin under eye (and I have). Also you don’t need setting powder and it comes with a little brush (very good and useful).
Thanks for this. I must say that I freaking LOVE the Chanel concealer. I agree the packaging is not ideal. But for my older under eyes, this lays beautifully and I never ever worry about it creasing or emphasizing my lines and wrinkles. I use such a small amount that I doubt I will EVER need to purchase another concealer! LOL
I spoke to a Chanel beauty manager and she said she uses the concealer at bedtime too. Since it is formulated with eye cream ingredients in it. I’ve been doing it for 2 months now and the puffiness I used to wake up with no longer happens. It has made me love it even more!
Hi Charlotte ! My favorite concealer for my mature skin ( I’m quite older than you … 😉) is the Sisley one . Very expensive but so beautiful! Thank you for this video ! 💖
I love your concealer recommendations overall, I bought both the Pat McGrath and Huda ones from your recommendations and loved them both. So I trust your judgement most :)
Hi I my last was tom ford as this has nearly gone I'm going to try the Dior forever. Please can you try some eye primers I have mature skin (66) I need one that doesn't crease and keeps good colour. Thank you She😃
Please show us how you'd set your top 3 concealers please. The Pat Mcgrath powder doesn't work on my undereyes - maybe it's how I'm applying it? I would appreciate your advice!x
Idk what the best concealer I own is, but the one I reach for over all the others is always the Loreal Age Perfect radiant concealer. I put a tiny dot on each tear through, blend it out with a flat brush, then do a second tiny dot and blend it iver the darkest areas. I also tend to choose to use a small amount of the RCMA no color powder to set it but the "powder foundation" from the same line looks great on top as well, very creamy, skin like finish on both the concealer and powder.
Happy Birthday! Welcome to your 40's! That was one of my best decades. 50's is great too. Plus you look fabulous. Everyone will still guess you in your 30s when you're 60. Just stay out of the sun from now on and make them guess. I must disclose my new Holy Grail concealer: Sisley. I'm shocked and appalled that I paid so much (although I got it on sale), but for someone who is about 8,000 years old, this one is a game changer. I use the tiny brush to apply, and a tiny bit goes a long way. For undereye, as I've aged, I find what I need most is something elastic and skinlike (check) and applying it only to the inner corners and the inner undereye is key. It simply can't migrate into laugh lines and crows feet, if it isn't put there to begin with. It's dauntingly thick at first, but it's almost elastic, and the little brush does a great job applying and spreading it out. Hours later it still looks good. Shop for sales. Thanks for the video! Expect decades more of gorgeousness. 💚
My holy grail at the moment is the new lancome concealer. I am more mature and it has a sort of latex lifting effect which happens after about a minute. I particularly like that. I will try and sample the Dior one, as I like the Idea of freshness feeling. Thankyou as always for great content video 👍
I'm so glad you made this video I've never needed to wear colour corrector or a concealer under my eyes I've had my epilepsy tabs changed and shopping the has been hard i goy up one day last week and nearly screemed i haven't got a clue what to buy so taking notes thankyou so much xx
LOVE the PML concealer! But now I’m definitely curious about Dior… 🤔 And happy belated birthday! 🎉 I turned 39 in late December, so I appreciate being in a similar age/skin maturity place as you…it makes your reviews extra beneficial! xo
Makeup Forever HD is the best I’ve found for no creasing, and it is self setting too. That said, I still would not call it holy grail status (though maybe that’s unrealistic expectations!) so I’m curious to try the Dior and I’ve heard good things about Lancôme as well.
Happy birthday! I remember my 39th birthday feels like it was the end of an era 😂 I can honestly say that my 40’s is the most fun I’ve ever had in my life so far! 🎉❤
First I have to say you have zoomed to the top of my list of Favorite Beauty Influencers! I love your recommendations- they have never failed me. Plus you make me laugh 🤣 I currently have the “old” Dior concealer and you said in a previous video I don’t need to rush out and get the new one. So I’m following your advice although I’m tempted….❤
I love the Tarte ShapeTape concealer but it’s really pricey so I found the Elf hydrating camo concealer (satin finish) is exactly the same as the shape tape. Feels and wears the same way. My tarte shade is light sand and the elf equivalent is light ivory/light sand (both are very very close and look the same on my skin) and it’s 3x cheaper than Tarte.
I have that version of Chanel foundation. I sure hope the concealer doesn't have the same level of perfume! I won't be repurchasing the foundation because the fragrance on my sensitive, dry skin
I’m loving the new CT concealer. Was in the Lancome but this has surpassed. Maybe have you look at the Dior when I finish one. Thanks for the ranking and subject matter.
I love the Dior (haven't tried new formula yet) and Hourglass -- plus the Armani and Cle de Peau stick formula. What I love about Armani is the precise colour match I get.
I bought the Huda Beauty concealer after you recommended it because we seem to have similar skin type and makeup preferences, and it immediately became my Holy Grail. The last time I found a Holy Grail concealer was in 2011 😬 xx
I recently bought both the Dior and the Huda after using the PM for a long time and I must say I LOVE the Dior just that little bit better because of the texture and the hydration. I must admit I am tempted to try the Chanel but that pot really is off-putting. Thanks for the review, adore your channel and your personality 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I got that too after her recent favorite fragrance reviews, and I love it! I’m also going to call it my “good luck” fragrance because I wore it for the first time today to take my clinical social work exam, and I passed!! 🎉
Dior Forever skin correct and Huda beauty Faux Filter concealers are both brilliant. Dior has slightly more coverage and slightly better lasting power. I'm 47
@@katam3310 oh no! That's a shame Dior is creasing more. Try it with an eyeshadow primer underneath. That should stop the creasing. I use the clinique even better all over primer and colour corrector under mine
@@twoleftfeet9626 some days it's better and some not that much but i still really enjoy using it but i found that Huda and Lancome concealer looks just a bit better
My 62 year old dry skin has been very happy with the Dermablend Cover Care Full Coverage Concealer. I am intrigued by your description of the Dior and eager to try it.
I am 57 and I do like the Huda beauty but I bought a slightly light color. I just love your videos in general and find them informative and entertaining. I do not like to buy all high end makeup but I will invest in a few items, like concealer and foundation.
Way hey!!! I have all of these except the Chanel and I am 48 with genetic blue/purple eye rings that I’ve had since I was a baby and they work fantastically. I set them with Pat McGrath white undereye powder. The Hourglass also blends very well with your moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer/foundation base. xx
I bought recently Max Factor Miracle Pure Concealer and it’s the best concealer for my dry under eyes skin and I’ve tried all of them from drugstore brands to high end
Thank you for sharing your concealer favorite's as I am still looking for a "Holy Grail" concealer to use. I am 67. I have very pretty complexion but my under eye could use a little help.👍❣️❗
Ooohhhhh can’t believe something has knocked Huda off the top spot… but then I was shocked when that one knocked the Pat M off! 😂 I wanted to love the Dior but the shade was so off for me… maybe need to try the new formula. I have soooo many concealors, none of which are HG - I have issues with them looking ashy on my skin!😮 Thanks for sharing this 💛💛
i have very dry undereyes. I am currently using the Chanel Sublimage and yes, it is messy but I don't really care. The dark spots show up after about an hour BUT my undereyes feel wonderful. I haven't found any concealer that I really like. I think I need a color corrector with this concealer. I bought this out of desperation and hope! I hate the Dior. It sucked the moisture out of my skin.
@@elainebines6803 i can understand that not everyone likes Tarte, it came out when people was putting way to much product (looking heavy and creasing) and since the makeup trends changed no one like it any more but it's great formula, long lasting and somehow smoothing, i use a very small amount, blend with my finger and use a sponge also for mix with others for longevity, don't have to powder and it's stay all day, I'm more mature with puffiness, lines and wrinkles but i can't agree that more mature under eye needs very creamy, hydrating formulas, at least not mine 😅, i can't find my perfect shade but lots of them are working ❤️😘
Thank you so much for this! I own and love each of your top 3, so we’re definitely on the same page with our concealer preferences! I trust your opinions for sure!
Ok, seems like I NEED to grab the Dior concealer. Huda, PM and CT are all great performers for me. The CT one I have doesn't have any shimmery particles, in fact, it's just a great concealer. Love these recommendations, they're super helpful 👌 Love ya, 🌸💙🌸💙🌸
Thank you for this! I am 43 and have very sensitive skin and eyes. I have tried so many concealers and keep going back to bareminerals liquid concealer since it wears well throughout the day and it won’t irritate my eyes. I am interested in the Dior, but will need to get a sample. Have you reviewed the Sisley?
Cannot wait to pick up the Dior concealer! The Backstage one just didn't work for me. Have to wait until one of our stores stocks them for a perfect color match!
Brought Hudi because you like it ..do own original Dior concealer when use up hudi i,ll give new one a try have mature skin .under eyes are tough agree Chanel to expansive if was cheaper would have brought it
Thank you for your concealer roundup 💕. I've been umming & ahhing what I should choose between Huda & the Dior. Hydration all the way for me for my raisin under eyes 🤭
Belated happy birthday 🎂🎉🎊! I love, love, love the change one. It is my holy grail! It is excellent for me. Yes, it is expensive but I will never have to by another one in my life hahaha. Thank you for the video 😊
Dior Backstage works best for me. I am 48 and have dried under eyes. I tried to steer away from any matte formulas. Huda is too dry for me. I will try the new formulates Dior though.
Hi charlotte , i have taken your advice and just bought myself a dior concealer , a girl needs some help so thank you , i bought charlotte Tilbury but i am afraid its just not good its rather dry , so i went back to my armani silk , but again just not quite right , so hopefully i might just get along with this one i shall let you know my love liz xxx.
Dear Charlotte, thank you for this amazing video. I watch all of your videos and I love your performance, very competent and with humor too. My favorite concealer is also the Dior and I just ordered 2 in backup but from the old ones as some ladies here compared both and they mostly preferred the old version. So I feared I won’t get my darlings anymore and bought them. I wish I would have seen your video first…..
Off topic...Your favorite Tom Ford foundation...how do you think it will look on 63 year old skin? I have normal skin but lots of wrinkles and I hydrate with skincare, morning and evening. TY for the concealer info. My favorites so far are Lancome, Nars Light Reflecting and Haus Labs.
Love the vid I recently bought Hour Glass I have not tested it yet. I will give it a go tomorrow. I have good vibes. I normally use YSL and just recently tried Lancome new concealer and I love ❤️ that. I love always looking for the next best thing 😊
I just finally got my skin matched for a concealer and i got pat mcgrath last weekend. i cant wait to start wearing it. i had a bit of an eye infection so i have been easy on my eyes with makeup. the dior one you found sounds amazing wish i saw this before i got mine but im sure the pat mcgrath concealer will also be wonderful i already got shade matched and tried it in the store
even though im 21 i have the same favourites! (besides the chanel, my student budget cant stretch that far XD) also love jouer, cover fx, nabla and the makeup forever matte skin velvet for insane coverage and a matte finish
Belated happy birthday Charlotte (since I know you film in advance) and thank you for this! I don't really have wrinkles since I am in my 20s, but I do have smile lines and the way my lower lids are, they tend to move a lot so these sound perfect!
I love the Dior concealer. Been a favourite for years. When Dior reformulated I was so angry. After watching reviews of the new formulation many have noticed the shades look lighter. I wonder if that’s because the older concealer has oxidised!
I was colour matched for the Pat McGrath in store a couple of years ago (funnily enough also lm9, although I’m fairer than you ..light medium but I do tan easily). I love it and since I got out of hospital after a lengthy stay before Xmas, I’ve also been using it a bit like a base as well, instead of my usual erborian bb cream in nude……just dotting it around and blending in with my fingers (guillain barre peripheral neuropathy, so I’ve been struggling to hold tools without them flying off into the ether!). Hopefully I’ll get back to doing proper makeup soon as I get better but it works remarkably well as a light base with a bit of setting powder! Only problem is that I’m running out faster and need to replace it! Think I will get l6 as well to brighten up the under eyes a bit and carry on using lm9 like this on normal every days, as my skin is still pretty good at 46, with hardly any lines (oily skin all my life helped!)
I don’t think I’d like the Dior …more luminosity and hydration is not what I’m looking for in a concealer. The Huda sounds nice but it’s so difficult to colour match.
Perfect timing for this video, I am looking for a new concealer, and I always loved your foundation choices, so what your concealer choices are should be a great guide for me. I love the Dior matte foundation, so I was wondering about the concealer, I might try it.
At 75, I love both the Estée Lauder and Lancôme concealers.
There are cheaper alternatives who do the same job and look amazing
I am over 50 years old and I love the Luminous Sillk concealer by Armani. It does what the name says, it's luminous and silky. I also like the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing concealer. Both are not dry and perfect for mature skin.

I love the Dior forever correct concealer too. I usually use that or the Vieve concealer, which is also brilliant
Ok, seems like I NEED to grab the Dior concealer.
Huda, PM and CT are all great performers for me. The CT one I have doesn't have any shimmery particles, in fact, it's just a great concealer.
Love these recommendations, they're super helpful 👌
Love ya, 🌸💙🌸💙🌸
does anyone know if the new dior concealer is scented? the pat mcgrath concealer isn’t, and that’s one of the reasons why i like it.
Brought Hudi because you like it ..do own original Dior concealer when use up hudi i,ll give new one a try have mature skin .under eyes are tough agree Chanel to expansive if was cheaper would have brought it
Happy birthday Charlotte 💕 I love the PML concealer the HB and the new CT curious about the Dior one great picks 💕
Ohhh, I might have to try the Dior. I used to use the PMG, and it has great coverage but I like something more luminous under the eyes.
Thank you for your concealer roundup 💕. I've been umming & ahhing what I should choose between Huda & the Dior. Hydration all the way for me for my raisin under eyes 🤭
A belated Happy Birthday to you! Thank you for this video!
Belated happy birthday 🎂🎉🎊!
I love, love, love the change one. It is my holy grail! It is excellent for me. Yes, it is expensive but I will never have to by another one in my life hahaha. Thank you for the video
😊
Dior Backstage works best for me. I am 48 and have dried under eyes. I tried to steer away from any matte formulas. Huda is too dry for me. I will try the new formulates Dior though.
The Dior Skin Forever concealer was my absolute favorite but the new Dior Backstage feels lighter and it’s waterproof ❤
Waterproof ?
@@erijbouhlel3068 Yeah…
I wish I would have seen your video first…..
please mention which one needs powdering!
Love my Charlotte tilbury concealer it’s amazing
Happy birthday, hope you had a lovely day.🎉
Love the vid I recently bought Hour Glass I have not tested it yet.
Excellent video as always love the rating system ! ❤
Charlotte, loved your video!
Have you tried the Sisley and Kulfi concealers? I would like to know how they compare to the Dior one! ☺️
I’m going out to buy the Dior concealer xx
Belated happy birthday Charlotte (since I know you film in advance) and thank you for this! I don't really have wrinkles since I am in my 20s, but I do have smile lines and the way my lower lids are, they tend to move a lot so these sound perfect!
Hi, does dior concealee have a strong smell? Like their perfumey scent. Thanks xx
thank you Charlotte
Have you tried the lsncome concealer? What's your thoughts on it?
I love the Dior concealer. Been a favourite for years. When Dior reformulated I was so angry. After watching reviews of the new formulation many have noticed the shades look lighter. I wonder if that’s because the older concealer has oxidised!
Thank you so much for the review!!
Hello Charlotte, great lineup, my holy grail is the LYS serum concealer. Does the Dior have fragrance?😘
I have tried the pat mcgrath concealer I liked it but didn´t live it. For my I prefer the lancome teint idole concealer.
Perfect timing for this video, I am looking for a new concealer, and I always loved your foundation choices, so what your concealer choices are should be a great guide for me. I love the Dior matte foundation, so I was wondering about the concealer, I might try it.
Hi Charlotte! Just wondered what your thoughts are on the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer? X
Great video, thank you! Have you tried the TOM FORD Shade & Illuminate concealer or the Armani Silk ones? How did they compare to the Dior concealer?
